The property was great, the staff needs lessons in friendliness.

I originally booked through Booking.com using a credit card and was charged on that card however when I checked in I decided to use a different card and was also charged on that card since it was swiped at time of check in. I assume the 1st card will receive a refund? How long will this take?

The style is superb! Vintage, modern with a touch of luxury. Different restaurants for all tastebuds, beautiful scenery of the pools (there are several pools) and the hotel is right next to the beach. Chairs and towels are available to us and many activities included (banana boat, kayak and paddle board).

- A deposit of $600 CAN is too much - Service quality wasn’t the greatest. It’s a luxury hotel. We expect an exquisite customer service with appropriate greetings. Staff should also be well informed of the hotel, ex: parking area, my partner and I asked 2 different people (they were both working in front of the hotel, directing the arrivals) for the parking Exemple: At the restaurant, the waiters look disgruntled. For most of them, you can see that their smile is "forced". I feel like I'm bothering them. For example, we had a reservation at Mirabella for 9:30 and I felt pressure to finish my plate as quickly as possible, since the staff around our table were rushing to tidy/clean everything, ready to take my plate... I would have liked to take my time and enjoy the discussion with my partner while tasting my wine... Same thing with Valet Parking, felt like I was bothering them. It was also hard did us to identify the Valet. Strongly recommend adding « Valet » on their uniform and having a welcoming greeting … specially for the price per night … we deserve an exquisite service.

stayed at Fontainebleau Miami Beach from May 10th to May 11th, 2024, with a booking made through Booking.com. Upon my arrival, I was surprised to find that I was charged INR 76,154/- for my stay, which significantly exceeded the amount I had anticipated based on my booking reservation of 409 dollars. Furthermore, I recently discovered that a friend of mine, Mr. Ketan, had also made a booking for a room during the same period of my stay. To my dismay, he was charged separately for my accommodation, resulting in an additional expense for both of us. After reviewing the situation, I believe there has been a misunderstanding or error in the billing process. I kindly request clarification regarding the discrepancy in the charges and urge you to rectify the situation promptly. According to my calculations, the total amount I should have been charged for my stay is 33,947/- INR, based on the booking details provided by Booking.com. I would appreciate it if you could review the charges and provide an explanation for the inflated amount of INR 76,154/-. Additionally, I request that you refund Mr. Ketan's booking amount, as he should not have been charged for my accommodation separately. I trust that this matter will be addressed with urgency and transparency. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any further information or clarification regarding my booking. Close to the beach

We booked a balcony and picture advertised was bay view but we had a room that was balcony but view of rooftop of the convention center. The Versailles Tower view were horrible. Felt was false advertised, imo.

I went for a work event, stopping by early on the weekend. Pumping music from 3 pools, impossible to find a chair, no a seat at a table. Too crowded for my taste. If you want a party, come here. If you want peace, go elsewhere.

Marc at check-in and check out made it smooth. He had answers to my questions and was very polite. The view of the beach, comfortable bed. Jetted tub. Courtesy beach chairs and towels. The location was great.Everything or place I traveled was between 15 and 20 minutes

Over priced.. charge you unnecessary service fees everyday.. parking prices way too expensive.. no fridges in room to put food in.

Extremely expensive for what it is , the food and beverage charges are very high and they even add a service charge when you purchase a drink from the lobby shop , Valet parking is a bit of a sh*t show, drop car at one place collect at another .

Room was nice, but there porch had not been cleaned and old cigarette butts were all over, and furniture was a mess. Music was super loud and there was no room by the pools for lounging. Get up early if you go to reserve your spots b/c all other round seating and cabanas are WAY $$$. Beach access was nice, but no one to help you get a lounge chair and no food/drink services at the beach. Restaurants onsite were convenient, but were very overpriced. Overall not walkable to any other attractions. Additional $47 PER NIGHT REQUIRED resort fees were not expected when booking this hotel, that plus all the 14% taxes made for a much larger bill than expected. We certainly did not get any of the "benefits" of the resort fee.

Great pool and access to Miami Beach activities

Very challenging to reach anyone at front desk, concierge or valet. Placed on hold for long periods of time. They do not have enough staff. Opposite situation at the pool. Great staff and service. Everything is extraordinarily overpriced in the shops and restaurants and mini bars. Room was nice, nothing out of the ordinary.

Room service closes at 12 midnight no food available in the whole hotel from 12 midnight till seven in the morning which is a big minus they should open 24 hour room service in the kitchen should be operating for a five star hotel. That’s a big problem also very hard to get chairs without paying extra money For the 3 to 4 pools around the resort very difficult to find chairs after 12 noon they should put more lounge chairs in order to sit you have to pay big bucks to get the seating in the pool area

The location was ideal and the amenities available made our stay comfortable.

The manager was not accommodating when it came to solving our concerns about the ocean view room we booked and payed for weeks in advance. When we arrived we were disappointed to discover we were given a room with a partial view. I saw this room option when I made the booking but did not select it because I wanted an ocean view. The manager did not change the room to the ocean view I booked and refused to grant my request for 2 complimentary breakfasts as a suitable compensation. This unresolved issue dampened our trip.

Lovely location

We stayed two nights prior to cruise the room had an industrial machine outside balcony which made a dreadful noise all night . We got no sleep and was told it was normal in a standard room they all had his problem . We also had money taken from our bank account which was denied at first but when I finally got to speak to a manager he said it was a mistake . Resort fees were removed for this .

This is the second time in a row I’ve visited this hotel and they have charged me bogus charges. First time they charged me a late check out fee when I was out early. This last time they charged me $365 for a random persons meal. It took me weeks of calling to finally get it reversed they made ME prove beyond a doubt that I didn’t eat the meal in question. It was tedious, time consuming, and insulting. I think I’d remember eating a meal in their restaurant yet they gave me a really hard time about it. The ticket had a different signature and room number on it and they still put me through the wringer. A less persistent person would have been stuck with the fraudulent charge.

for the price i paid, i d have stayed in another hotel with better view. Also the air conditioning was on all the time, it was not possible to turn it off, because if you turn it off, there was a current of cold wind at the room all the time. that was annoying. also, you cant open the windows. its like you are trap in this ac room , not good for your health.

The options for the many pools and beach is great. There were seats available when we came to the pool. The kid pool is a bonus. The ease of going back and forth from beach to pool was great. The staff was helpful and courteous. The food is tasty and fresh. Drinks are delicious.

Occasionally it was hard to get a server at the pool. The battle of the DJ, multiple sources of music conflicting was sometimes off putting. The prices for everything are very high in addition to the room price. They give you very little choice but to order and pay large amounts for everything. There was no note or warning in the room that if you even move anything from the minibar you would be charged. For a hotel of this price point that should be clearly stated. We used the minibar to store our own things and were charged for items we didn't use. On top of that, when the manager removed the charges, he proceeded to charge a "refrigerator fee" without letting me know. For a hotel with such high prices... offering a refrigerator and having a coffee machine in the room is the least they could offer. Even the cheapest hotels offer that. It was the last thing we had to deal with during our stay and left a very bad feeling. Also the "refresh" lounge you can use after you check out is a nice option but it had no clean towels and was not cared for.... dirty towels everywhere. We will NOT come back simply on principal. IT feels they are just taking advantage of people without providing the services to the scale of the prices.

the hotel was clean and had plenty of pool options. loved that they have chairs on the beach and staff to set them up for you as well as servers walking the beach. Plenty of food options in the hotel which is great because there isn't much around within walking distance.

They start the party early. Our room overlooked the pools and around 8:30am they started playing loud bumping music. While I'm not opposed to a good time, it would be nice to not have it radiating in my room so early especially after a late night out. The constant bag checks at the pool was annoying, made it feel like you were stealing or not trusted. Also, be prepared to spend $$ on drinks and food, although that is par for the course in Miami. Also, 20% gratuity is automatically added. Most of the servers made you aware of that but a few didn't and we ended up adding additional gratuity not knowing we had already paid for it.

The room was nice.

The jets did not work in the tub. Which was a bummer because that is supposed to be part of the experience of staying at such a prestigious resort. The balcony looked dirty/dusty but that is understandable since it is outdoors. Creamers were not replaced one of the days of our stay. So, we walked down to have a coffee at the lobby restaurant.

The room in front of mine had sort of a party making noise and yelling in the middle of the night waking up my family. It is not a good hotel for families. Mattresses are too soft and kind of old you could feel they were shaped. And showers with absolutely no water pressure.

My room was dirty. Looked like prior guest washed their long hair and it was clearly bunched into the corner of the shower. Towels were slightly damp. Could not tell if they were holdovers from last guest.

Lively, plenty of restaurants and food options.

The air conditioner in the entire facility is ridiculously cold. Every person I talked to in the hotel complained about it. The valet system is very unorganized. On a busy day, it could take about 20 minutes for our Uber to come through the ramp to access the hotel. The cars simply don’t move and nobody there in charge. We almost missed our flight for that reason. The rooms are so outdated.

Staff not friendly, poor service, they didn't clean our room for two days despite requesting it multiple times.

Once I arrived I found the bathroom wasn’t clean!!! and I asked the reception the send some to clean and that take them long time more than 3 hours

The room was bigger than what described on Booking.com. Also, it had laundry and dryer (not mentioned), a full kitchen and double bathroom. We discovered all of that once at the location, so I suggest to update the description and pictures for the tresor suites

There was a payment wrongly charged to another member of our family. The staff was not able to fix it due to the fact that we checked out one day before the rest of our family. Just to keep in mind, check all the breakfast and other charges if you are travelling with friends or family that are in different suites.
