East Hotel, Miami

The pool area is lovely and staff very attentive. rooms clean, comfortable and decently sized. Location in the heart of Brickell.

Check in was sloppy and chaotic. No one with a luggage cart or any offer to help with my suitcase when I arrived. I had my 7 yr old son with me, lots of bags and had to drag my suitcase up the stairs. A bit ridiculous for this level of hotel

Way overpriced. Valet should be free if your staying at the hotel! Already paying so much for the room! I was in a king suite 2 room, everything should have been included. Miami is way Overhyped

Location and the security of the building

We liked the location if, your are looking to stay at the heart of Brickell. Just above Brickell City Centre, walking-distance to restaurants and you can go out for a walk around Brickell. Quinto, the property’s restaurnt served good breakfast with perfect service from the staff, specially Gabriela and Jessie. The staff is great! Luis at frontdesk and all of the guys at the valet parking.

Being at the heart of Brickell, keep in mind you can listen to the cars and motorcycles engine revving all the up to the 35th floor. Also, Sugar is a bar / rooftop at the property and you have a lot of people coming in and out of the lobby to go up to the rooftop. We never felt unsafe, the elevators can only go up to your room or destination. It is just something to keep in mind if you are looking for a resort and spa kind of property: EAST is not it. It is more about hustle and bustle kind of feeling.

Fantastic location, the amenities, the restaurants in the building, the view was great.

Staff could be a bit warmer and spend more time with the new guests, it was a very brief and fast intro. Not a big deal though.

Requested extra coffee pods and received only one. 🙃 Had to ask again and wait quite a while for more. If two guests are staying, at least two pods should be provided. Also requested ice multiple times — even mentioned it again when ordering breakfast — but after two hours and three requests, still no ice. The manager was apologetic, but getting something as simple as ice shouldn’t be that difficult.

The rooms are spacious, but there is not enough closet or drawer space. It is a shame because there is plenty of physical space available in the room. For a 5-star hotel that is not cheap, the room service food is delivered in cheap containers,

The property was very nice, clean aesthetically pleasing. The room smelt divine and was very clean😊

Everything was fine, maybe a little dark in the lobby area and not too many areas to take pictures for future memories like some of the other hotels in the area.

We enjoyed the stay. The view is beautifull,the Pool area was very nice and the staff ad the Pool was amazing.

I liked the staff, cleanliness, comfort of the pillows and beds, and the location.

The extra costs for the beach that I couldn’t visit because it was raining each day, and bicycles I did not use each day. I think if we use the bikes and beach then charge me, but to make the charges mandatory, that’s a little much!

I didn’t like that the rooms or hotel at all didn’t provide a microwave , that is very inconvenient for a hotel stay and for this hotel to be the price it is. It should have one at least down stairs in the lobby if not in the rooms.

The location was fabulous, with direct access to the shops, the malls and walking distance from all great places in Brickell.

I ordered a bottle of champagne for my room which never arrived.

One of the bar/ restaurants on the roof had a cover charge even if you just want to have some food. Was told that we could sit on stools at the bar, to eat, if we could find some. I would have expected more for hotel guests.

The location was near everything I was doing. I loved it was connecting to Brickell CityCentre.

Weak AC for a hot city like Miami

While the property itself met expectations in terms of quality,

I would like to express my disappointment with certain aspects of the service that felt overly materialistic. Specifically: We were charged an additional amount for early check-in. Despite this, when requesting a late check-out (even for an hour or two), there was no consideration given to availability — it was simply another chargeable service. This rigid policy felt transactional rather than guest-centric, especially given the premium rate we already paid for the night. Overall, I believe greater flexibility would enhance the guest experience, particularly when clients are already paying a substantial nightly rate.

Mostly everything. Loved the pool area, my family and I felt like we were on a resort. Location was really good as well.

The only thing that was missing was a fridge and microwave. I mean at least we should have had a small refrigerator for leftovers. Our room had a fridge but it was stuffed to the max with liquor. I mean we were in Miami, not Vegas.

We had a wonderful stay at this centrally located hotel. Our room was lovely, and the service was consistently excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Overall, it was a great experience and we truly enjoyed our time there. We loved it so much that we will come back. Additionally, we loved that the hotel is directly connected to the mall.

Sugar was a big plus...the pool was also nice but having two pools so close is a little old fashioned...think of making one big pool...it will automatically be much more glam

The rooms are modern and clean. The view from the room balcony was fabulous. The restaurant Quinto was very impressive. Loved the atmosphere and the food was very good…we had lunch AND dinner there it was so nice!

The rooms have door bells and unfortunately someone decided to ring ours at 7:30 am (waking us) but nobody there? Super annoying! The housekeeper cleaned the room after 5pm, while we were at the pool and when we got back they had taken all the towels but did not replace with clean ones! Also, we were not able to visit the rooftop bar Sugar because my husband didn’t have the proper foot wear, which was disappointing considering we were hotel quests. What exactly is “night club attire” anyway???

The location was perfect because of where we were going , so it was centrally located. The pool and cabana were excellent. The view from my balcony was fantastic

The sheets were scratchy , the restaurants were not well staffed and the front desk staff was not that helpful getting car service

It’s quite a busy hotel with guests coming in for just the restaurant etc so the lobby can be get quite busy and feel a little rowdy.
