Hotel The Peabody, Memphis

Great location and the DUCKS! My son was asked to be an honorary "Duck Master"! He loved it and said he wants to go back. The exceptional tours and history of music and civil rights in deeply emotional. Elvis, need I say more? The entire trip was great fun and the Peabody is so centrally located that it made things easy.

Nothing that I can think of with the hotel. The City is mainly nice, I would hesitate to walk far at night.

Beautiful facility, close to everything down town and great atmosphere.

Need safety bars in shower. The space for the toilet is way to small.

Location was perfect for visiting all key attractions downtown.. could walk everywhere!

Door to bathroom did not close ( warped). WiFi did not work at all in the room. ( Room 910)

Watching the duck march was a highlight! Loved all the duck decor - even drinks at the bar had a duck motif. Beds were very comfortable, room exceptionally clean.

Wish we could have stayed another night.

Beautiful building with historical preservation combined with modern amenities. We really enjoyed the duck march, Sunday brunch, and the excellent facilities and location.

Wifi was not working for a whole day and did not work at all with a VPN turned on .This is my #1 pet peeve. Also, they charge extra for a fridge

The room was tiny and you could barely turn around in the bathroom.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and steeped in history. The room was fabulous, beautiful decor and excellent attention to detail. The pillows embroidered with ducks and little duck shaped soaps in the bathroom added to the experience. Staff were very friendly and professional, the valet service was efficient and speedy and the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Beale Street. Graceland is only a 15 minute drive away too. Our son is a huge Elvis fan, so we requested a room on the 6th floor as in July 1956, Elvis participated in a photo shoot at the Peabody, specifically in a room on this floor. The hotel accommodated this which made our trip more special. We had cocktails in the magnificent bar area and our son had a Peabody chocolate duck which he said was delicious. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

History beautiful room clean duck show Very expensive, paid for everything. No free coffee except in morning from deli shop - that was life saver .

No coffee maker in room, couldn’t really go out after dark . Sketchy neighbourhood . Told Don t go out walking streets.

Older staff; beauty of hotel; spa; atmosphere.

Many of the Younger staff, under 50, were either rude or disgruntled. Older staff was totally amazing!!!!!!!

It was a lovely hotel, it had the feel of traditional hospitality with a modern approach. Beautiful architecture, lovely atmosphere and of course the ducks which were a quirky but lovely tradition.

The view and after hours noise from the roads outside. Cars with loud engines roaring up and down until the early hours was unnecessary and annoying.

Everything! Quality and luxury wrapped together in one package. The staff was very accommodating, the entire hotel was extremely clean. Would recommend for everyone passing through Memphis.

Service was amazing. Loved the atrium and bar there. Staff was wonderful. Location made it easy to sight see walking.

Very noisy due to rooftop party. Manager attempted to accommodate us by moving us, but we heard loud music, bass there also until 10p. It would be great if there was an outdoor pool.

Great Hotel!

The Peabody is an historic hotel in downtown Memphis. The daily duck parade is a tourist attraction and very cute. The room was spacious and well appointed. We enjoyed the lobby lounge & bar area. The dining room was good for dinner (they also serve a full breakfast) and the coffee shop for a quick breakfast sandwich. The hotel has an old world charm to it.

The history of the hotel and how well it is maintained. My father in law worked at the Peabody in Orlando so we had to come her to honor him.

I was disappointed that I could not see the duck's palace due to a private event being held

Every staff member at the Peabody was extremely friendly and accomodating. The beds felt luxurious and were so comfortable. We really enjoyed all of the little ducky details that were sprinkled throughout the hotel. The duck march is a must see!

The tub faucet would not fully shut off. It dripped all night and into the morning after we took our shower.

If you are going to Memphis, you have to stay at the Peabody at least once, or just for one night. It is pretty magical. It provides top notch service in an ultra classy venue. My wife and I definitely recommend it.

The duck march, while fun and cute, can be a bit of a struggle to navigate because of all the people. Oh, and the bathroom in our room was really small, but it was more of a minor annoyance than anything.

All the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The history of the place adds to the experience. It's a beautiful space with easy access to different restaurants, tourist attractions, and sights.

The location of the hotel is great and we got there just in time to see the end of the duck walk, which was nice. The room was a good size for the 4 of us and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also very nice and the wait staff there were very friendly and helpful.

The wait for the valet cars was a bit much. We didn't submit our request until we left our room, but noticed that a lot of guests had vehicles waiting for them for a while (over 20 minutes with no one there to even leave in the car). I guess next time we'll go ahead and request our car 30 min before we actually need it so we can have it waiting for us too

Stunning, iconic hotel, with an amazing lobby and the only hotel I'd stay in when in Memphis, really. The queen size room was plenty big - well decorated and comfortable. The ducks! Breakfast Being in downtown Memphis, we could walk to Beal st etc very easily Parking was easy

Some staff at the check-in / customer service desk were very unhelpful, dismissive, disinterested, and one was bordering on rude. It was so disappointing to be greeted like that - most nice hotels tend to treat their customers well and assumed the Peabody staff would be more customer service focused. The upselling at check-in was also not great after a long journey. They made the queen size room sound terrible, but when we wanted to compare it to a king room, the king was suddenly no longer available. The view from the room wasn't great. The bathroom was tiny. Not being able to go up to the rooftop outside of the music event. We didn't know that hotel guest have to buy tickets, so when we went up to take a picture of the iconic Peabody sign, security were pretty rude and grumpy with us.

The property was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The duck walk is a highlight you must see.

The room was very large and comfortable. Bedsheets were soft and fresh. Bathroom full of amazing soaps and other necessities. The location is perfect, very close to all the main attractions (Sun studio, Beale street, Museum of civil rights and I am a man plaza). Staff were always kind and helpful with all our requests.

during the afternoon we decided to rest a bit on our room but the maids were cleaning the rooms next to us and there was a banging noise on the other side of the wall, I had to go out and kindly ask her to stop it.

Excellent customer service, clean well appointed rooms, easy elevator service, safe parking, fantastic lobby for sitting/talking/people watch.

The staff was friendly. The rooms were nice and clean & we loved the Ducks.

Excellent location. The hotels history speak for itself. Nicely decorated and the ducks are an added bonus. We found the room to be very small, but nicely furnished. Parking is quite expensive and 5 minute walk away, which when you have multiple bags in the heat is a little frustrating.

It’s a very busy hotel, especially leading up to the duck ceremony. Residents of the hotel do not have a priority view as the lobby is open to the public. My advice is to get to the fountain a minimum of an hour before to get a good seat.

Most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at, staff was outstanding. I would highly recommend!!
