Beautiful hotel and comfortable stay with a family of 5.
History of the hotel, comfortable accommodations, the ducks of course
The surprise of having to upgrade the room to fit a single bed for son. Well worth the extra cost though to fit the 5 of us great.
Parking is a bit confusing and pricey, should be included in stay.

Amazing detail and history, great location, super friendly staff. A relic room with old photos and items from the history of the hotel. And the ducks! They were so cute and seemed so happy. East fast check in and valet. Loved our stay!

A real gem!
Old style,beautiful, grand hotel. Well appointed rooms. The duck marching is amusing and the hotel leans into this theme. Centrally located to all the main attractions and Beale St. Great breakfast selection and awesome lobby/bar area. A visit to Lanskys is a must!
The bathroom is on the smaller size but not a big issue.

The Grand old hotel of the South
It’s so comfortable, everyone so helpful and of course…the ducks !
It was noisy outside with “ boy racers “ screeching up Union Avenue until 2 am ! I know it’s not the hotels issue…just want to make people aware.
The other point is the amount of “local” taxes you have to pay. It’s ridiculous!

We did enjoy the stay. Overall, we would return
Breakfast was very good. Mr. Billy was a wonderful waiter. He was attentive, professional, kind, helpful, and most of all he always had a smile on that brightened the room.
There was a dirty towel hanging on the shower rod. There was hair in the bed. The chair was broken and a bit dirty. We told the front staff and the young lady shrugged.

Beautiful Hotel
We enjoyed the ambience and the staff were lovely.
We felt that when we were given a price for something, we should be told the full cost, not a price, then find another pile of unknown taxes added on! Once they have your card on the system, it's their license to take anything they feel, and refund later! Maybe this is the norm, but we hadn't come across this anywhere else we stayed.

We'll be back!
Our stay at The Peabody was worth every penny. The history and ambience of the main lobby / bar area really added something special to our trip. Loved the piano player, Elvis tracks and so pleased to see the Lanksy Bros still have a home in Memphis. The location is perfect, a very short stroll to Beale Street. Overall, an old school gem.
The bathroom is very small and could do with a spruce up - but this did not detract from our stay. Our rate included hot drinks in the morning, but I don't think this was communicated clearly, so we didn't realise until our last morning. The offering in the deli is also a little lackluster, but does provide a space for a hot drink and bagel in the morning.

A Place to Remember...very special.
Loved the Peabody lobby. It is absolutely gorgeous. Live piano music every night. The rooms are classic and comfortable.
And the DUCK Walk to and from the central fountain is very amusing and special. The hotel is a very short walk to all the music venues.
This is the ONLY hotel to be in when in downtown Memphis !!
There is nothing not to like at the Peabody Hotel.
