Everything was wonderful, from staff to the facilities.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

It is our Melbourne home. It’s beautiful to be welcomed back warmly by staff who know us and our preferences for room type, bedding, pillows, etc. I greatly appreciate the Muk hair styler in the room, which means I can leave mine at home, one less thing to pack. I like the ambience of the generous reception area with its breakfast area and all day kitchen/hang out area. The Lord Lygon wine bar and restaurant on the property is excellent. Above all, the staff genuinely connect with us.

Awesome location, close to the many restaurants of Lygon Street and a short walk to the CBD. The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was well appointed and had beautiful Smith & Co products. We took advantage of the under cover onsite parking (as on-street parking is almost non-existent around there) and thought $35 was pretty reasonable for Melbourne. The staff could not have been more helpful, thanks guys!

We were disappointed that Lord Lygon was closed on the Sunday and Monday we were there, but understand people need time off.

The management was very fair with me.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Every member of the team was professional and friendly. We enjoyed a very tasty meal on our last evening at the Lord Lygon bistro next door before a late night flight. The location was good, being close to the city centre but within walking distance of Carlton, Fitzroy and other attractions. We recommend the Brunetti Italian Cafe in Carlton - just a 10 minute walk away.

Lovely decor and fit out

Great location within walking distance of many of the sites we wanted to visit. and numerous restaurants.

The Nespresso machine in the room was broken, and the hotel could not fix it or replace it during our stay. But they did offer free coffee from the restaurant as compensation. The TV was allegedly Chromecast compatible, but the hotel could not get that to work either. Didn't care for the bath setup, with the toilet surrounded by frosted glass, though the shower was nice.

We love the location Carlton as it is close to the city center and Carlton with nice restaurants, bars and shops! The rooms are cosy and convenient. Whenever we come to Melbourne we stay in here. :)

Zagames is honestly one of the most wonderful places that we have ever stayed, relaxed but classy, high quality funky design in rooms, cafe and reception, fabulous staff, delicious food, wonderfully located, easy parking.

Hotel food though nice and well presented, tended be too oily. Lygon St was disappointing as far as eating out. I wouldn't bother.

The property was very modern, clean and comfortable. It was also very convenient, as it was walking distance to restaurants and cafes. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The rooms are gorgeous and the beds are simply divine. As someone who travels down to Melbourne almost every month, this is my favorite stay so far!

Awesome facilities and great food in the restaurant, close to amazing restaurants and theatre’s, had a very enjoyable experience.

Cool, funky decor throughout the hotel, rooms are spacious and tastefully lit. Location on Lygon Street is a major drawcard and off street parking is secure and convenient

very chic-boutique hotel

Location is close to restaurants and theatres. Car parking available on site. The cocktail bar is a lovely place to relax and have a drink prior to dinner in Lygon Street. Even though the hotel is situated on a busy corner our room was extremely quiet. Breakfast downstairs offered many choices all presented beautifully. Great coffee. All staff encountered are friendly, helpful and professional. I have enjoyed a few stays at Zagames House and would recommend it as a convenient stopover.

Great location, close to Lygon street and Melbourne university. Nice, comfortable cozy room with comfortable bed. Pleasantly surprised as it was a last minute booking on the day and fortunately there was a room available. Bedroom slippers and bath robes were nice touches.

Modern hotel in a great location on Lygon St, and very friendly staff. Loved the decor and the bed was very comfortable. I love that it's pet-friendly as well. Will bring my dog back next time!

Paying $35 for parking which we believe should be included Bathroom needs stronger fan for steam extraction and solid sliding door, although the door is amazing to look at it’s not practical

The staff was very helpful, giving us suggestions of what to do in the area, where to eat, and how to get around. The suggestions were all good. The lobby was comfortable and the breakfast was great.

The room was a little small. The bathroom and bedroom were divided by a transluscent glass divider, with the toilet right next to the bed.

The room was cozy, the bed was super comfortable. The service was amazing. Someone smoked in the rooms and the smell went through the vents into my room, and they were very kind to change my room on the last night of stay. There’s a wine bar just opposite the reception with delicious food options. It was an awesome stay.
