Great location for hospital appts. Very comfortable bed!

The beds are divine

Great location, quiet, staff friendly and helpful. Early check in to accommodate medical appointments nearby was much appreciated and cafe attached had great breakfast rolls and coffee.

The bed was too soft for me and hurt my back to sleep on it...more of a personal choice than a complaint but is a shame because would love to stay there again for the convenience and other good attributes. Spoke to reception but all beds are the same so wouldn't even be able to pay extra for a better room.

Location was really good. King size room was excellent and very quiet. Bed was comfy. Restaurant was nice and not expensive . We had chicken snitzels which were very tender and only $25. Neither of us could finish our meal.

Bit of a variety of different size and firmness of pillows. 2 pillows were 2 high 1 too low. I used towels folded up under pillow. Took about 15 minutes of driving around the car park before we found one. We left the car there and either walked or caught the tram. Hubby didn’t like that the restaurant only served boutique beer. He said it wasn’t very nice and didn’t finish it.

The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom drains smelt quite strongly. I feel like a hotel bathroom shouldn't smell like a public toilet.

Generous room size, great facilities and reading material related to the artworld and artists. Super comfortable king bed. Fantastic location on the edge of the CBD with wonderful parkland views. Very quiet location with onsite parking. Tram stop just 50m away and front desk was super friendly and helpful in explaining how to reach our destination. Onsite restaurant has a very cool vibe, great food & friendly, efficient staff. Easy return to Flemington Road and return to the airport.

Great, central location with two separate tram stops just a 5 minute walk away. The neighbourhood itself doesn't have much, but a short walk or tram ride and you're in the Brunswick or North Melbourne areas which have a lot more going on.

It was easy to get to, driving in from interstate. Parking was convenient under the building. Lovely view over the park from our room. Comfortable spacious beds.

The artwork and styling was lovely. The view was fantastic. Staff were lovely.

I didn’t realise it was part of the hospital when I booked it. The parking was a bit confusing because the information link that was sent through didn’t work. Possibly a booking.com issue.

Staff are fantastic. Rooms are clean, comfortable & well appointed. Art is impressive. Toiletries are too shelf.

TVs are just flat screens; no internet. Also, there's an unpleasant smell associated with the plumbing in the bathrooms. I've stayed in two different rooms on different floors; different sides of the building, and the smell was noticeable in both. It's quite off putting.

Only problem we had was room wasn’t ready at 2pm, we were exhausted after being up early as we only had 4 hours sleep, had to wait another 45 mins

Clean and location

It was mentioned parking included but had to pay $28 a day, which is ok but having to go to the reception to obtain a pass to take the vehicle out was a pain. Couple of times staff at the reception was busy and had to wait in line to sign and obtain a card to exit. Should have a better system so guests don't waste time.

Nice, spacious room with very comfortable bed & lovely views of the park. Linked to the Royal Children's Hospital, so super convenient for hospital visits.

The location to the central business district and the garden/park next door.

There was not a ramp from the front door to the reception desk. Unless one used the lift you had to use multi steps to get up.

Really well situated hotel right by Royal Park, so if you have a room looking over the park it's absolutely lovely. There's a tram running past for convenient transport and a big carpark below. The rooms are fairly spacious and really well appointed - nothing too fancy just very well done. The bed, in particular, is very comfortable. We enjoyed the Larwill artworks everywhere.

Check in staff were helpful, including guidance on parking in the building, the restaurant staff were also great and the food plentiful and delicious. The tram was close by and we had a wonderful view of a park. Being next to the hospital allowed us to also indulge in other meal outlets.

A little pricey but it was ahead of the F1 GP weekend and overall it was a good stay in Melbourne.

Even though it's inside a children's hospital it was a really good experience.

How spacious the room + bathroom was. Quiet area and convenient food options in the hospital connected to it and across the street. Tram stop 2 mins walk away lends to easy access to CBD.

Beds were too soft. Something more supportive would be great. TV could have better connectivity options.

Close to the Melbourne zoo. The Royal park is just a few minutes walk. Other facilities, e.g. fcar park, food, toilet, supermarket, even a salon in the children's hospital complex are easily accessible for hotel guests.
