Central city location is excellent, and the large room size made this all the more value for money. The room was very nicely set up and presented. First class. IGA mini-store next door is very convenient, but modest selection of items apart from booze.

Bathroom: basin taps needed new washers, leaked continuously without a wrench to tighten the taps. The bathroom exhaust system continues to make a humming noise long after using it, which was a little disturbing for sleep. Worst thing: the TV came on each night without any intervention from me. It woke me up and I had to search for the remote. There was no easily located power switch to turn it off. Absence of a cook top and cooking pans was a limitation: if you're going to provide cooking facilities. The breakfast was a bit limited. No fried eggs. Fruit selection basic. Suggest adding dried fruit, e.g. sultanas, dates, prunes.

The hotel was fantastic. In walking distance to Bourke street shopping and the Regent Theater. Beautiful building inside and out and the all day snack bar and happy hour was a fantastic bonus. Plus its the little touches like beautiful high end toiletries, games in the room, microwave popcorn (kids loved this) And the breakfast was the best!

There was Absolutely nothing not to like about this place. If I had to nick pick, I was really looking forward to the olives and cheese and crackers with happy hour I saw in the images, but we did get a bowl of pretzels that was lovely also.

Beautiful vanity products, mini bar, beautiful comfortable bed. So close to all booked shows and our places of interest. Loved the Bank restaurant downstairs.

We came to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary and was saving our special dinner at your Bank restaurant for Saturday night, could have cried when we realised that the whole restaurant is closed on the weekend.

Spacious rooms and loved the kitchenette and washer/dryer. Staff very helpful, breakfast delicious and handy location.

There was a humming fan noise, not sure where from. But, it wasn't a real problem.

The parking became a little difficult as my four-wheel-drive could not quite fit in the allotted car parking. Had to park a little further up the street but the walk did be good.

The staff were superb: they were kind, helpful, and very approachable. We loved the little perks (free glass of wine in the evening) and the breakfast was lovely. Tiny fussy thing: I would have loved plain (not sweet) yoghurt. We were also charged a little extra on our final bill, for our second night, but we don't know why!

Maybe an explanation on the final bill for any extras we were charged for.

Great Place to stay - I will be booking again. Could not complain about anything, room was great, breakfast was great and access to coffee and snacks daily, plus happy hour each day was great too. I look forward to my next stay.

if I had to find something it would only be that one of the lifts wasn't working so it did take a little more time then normal to get up and down. but really wasn't a big deal.

Excellent for asthmatic people. Lovely appointed room with small kitchen, washer/dryer. Very clean.

Located in the heart of the CBD, in a beautifully conserved building, with excellent staff and facilities, it would be hard to beat for a short stay.

The Treasury was a surprise, a nice one! It didn't have a hotel vibe from the outside. Our room was huge, warm and welcoming, but didn't have a view. The bed was super comfy. There was Netflix on the tv. There was a separate dining and living area, plus a kitchenette, if you needed to make yourself a meal. There is a welcome wine every evening between 4-6pm which is a lovely touch with great balcony areas to sit. There was a pool table. The bar downstairs is fun and trendy (not part of the hotel) and they serve good food too. The hotel breakfast was simple but delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is a washing machine in the bathroom! The location is great, with the tram just down the road and great pubs, restaurants and theatres in walking distance.

The bathrooms are a bit dated, with the shower in the bath, which could be a slip hazard. The lifts were slow, but it is a very old heritage building. The view from the Queen Heritage room is overlooking an office where on weekdays there is no privacy, unless you have your curtains closed. But we still loved staying there :) Unfortunately, there is no pool.

Hotel does not have it's own restaurant hence no room service. No swimming pool. Steps to be mindful of in a tight space of the lounge.

Big spacious rooms. Warm & inviting. Comfy bed, fridge, ironing board & iron, washing machine, kitchenette. Mezzanine area with pool table and a free glass of wine between 4-6pm. Beautiful bar on ground level. Good location, close to transport.

Though very spacious, room was dark with no views - overlooked by offices so kept curtains closed on work days. Shower in bath, potentially a slip hazard. Lift slow, but a beautiful old building.

The bed was a bit firm for my taste- I just prefer something softer.

They let me check in early when I got there, and breakfast was free in the morning. The staff is super friendly and explains everything so well.

Entrance through a restaurant or a narrow way does not justify the ambience of the hotel. The room was so good i can’t explain. I wish i had taken a photo. Me and my wife stayed in Melbourne two nights for work. One night was in Crowne Hotel by IHG and the next was at this hotel. We personally liked ther overall experience at this hotel more than the Crown.

My wife and I had a really lovely time staying at Treasury on Collins. From start to end, the experience was great, the room was cosy and well set up, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. We really felt taken care of during our stay. One part that gave us a good laugh was the towel situation. We asked for bath towels, but somehow ended up with a bunch of bath mats instead. It was quite amusing to see so many of them lined up, clearly meant for the bathroom floor, but hey, it made for a fun story. We also had a little “adventure” with the lift, one evening it wasn’t working and we had to climb seven flights of stairs (which made me realise I need to work on my fitness!). When the lift came back on, we thought all was fine… until it suddenly stopped while we were inside. That gave us a mini heart attack, but thankfully a technician was nearby and got us out quickly. Other than those two things, everything else was smooth and enjoyable. Great location, clean rooms, comfy bed, just an overall nice vibe. Really appreciate all the staff who were there during our stay. Would totally come back again. Thank you for making it such a pleasant experience!

The only small downside was the lift; it stopped briefly while we were inside, which was a bit scary at the time! Thankfully, the technician was quick to assist. It would also be great if there were more lifts available, or perhaps a guest-only lift, especially after climbing seven flights of stairs earlier that day (we got our cardio in!). Also, having a private car park for hotel guests would be a wonderful addition. Lugging our luggage across a fair distance was a bit exhausting, maybe just for us, haha! However, these are just minor issues. Everything else was smooth and enjoyable.
