Hotel Treasury on Collins, Melbourne

A lovely art deco property, Treasury on Collins is a short walk to vibrant lanes and cafes. The Heritage King room had everything we needed including a kitchenette and a beautiful breakfast was included in the price. They also have a Wine Down between 4pm and 6pm which includes a glass of wine and some nibbles in the guest lounge. This was a lovely touch. There’s also a small pool table tucked away in a corner of the guest lounge and it was fun to play a game.

Great one bedroom apartment - lots of space and serviced as required. The staff were outstanding and accommodated both an early check in and late check out. A decent breakfast was available and enjoyed each morning. Great location on Collins Street

Beautiful well maintained building, staff were lovely very friendly. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Bed was comfortable spa bath was pleasurable.

Breakfast and lounge were good. Clean. Kitchen, washer/dryer perfect for families.

No stove and dishwasher. Samsung washer cum dryer is not ideal. Too much lint stuck in the Samsung machine. Should come with separate washer and dryer.

Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. One of the ladies at front desk who checked us in continued addressing me by my name. They have nice wine service every evening and free snacks throughout the day.

Breakfast is same every morning and gets very repetitive after a few days. We started eating outside.

Stayed in loft apartment. Enormous and very clean. Loved the wine down time in front of a little window where you could see down to the street. Lounge was very relaxing.

Quiet, clean and in a great location.

The ambiance of the beautiful building and hotel interior design, the hotel room and room facilities were great. There were unique little touches to hotel provided which was really nice. The staff were genuine, all friendly, helpful and caring, unassuming. The breakfast buffet was well served and good quality.

We really liked the property and the hotel. The only notable point which was difficult was the rising noise from the bank restaurant bistro from it’s customers during the evening time while sitting in the hotel’s communial lounge area located on the mezzanine level. This is inevitable and unavoidable based on the beautiful listed heritage building which has an open atrium.

Both near the city center / river, and footsteps away from tramway 12, that takes us to Kilda beach. I would not have imagined a better place in Melbourne. The staff is also super smiling, helpful & nice.

Interesting renovation of an old building and everything about it was comfortable, beds, lounge chairs etc. the complimentary wine at wine down time and free access to snack bar was a nice touch. The included breakfast was very good.

Loved the location…able to walk or catch trolley to everything we wanted to see and do! The room was comfortable and loved the breakfast buffet and snacks!

Everything it was a pleasant surprise as I booked last minute and never stayed in this hotel before. It was so enjoyable and relaxing from start to finish.

Not one thing had the greatest stay it will be my go to location from now on.

Lovely heritage bank building refurbished and converted. CBD location. Easy walking distance to many of Melbourne’s sights. Large room with separate bedroom. Complimentary wine and pretzels 4-6pm. Decent breakfast in mezzanine overlooking the old banking hall which is now a restaurant.

A shame the second lift not working

Great view from the enormous window in the sitting area. TV in living area was unable to get free to air channels despite getting staff assistance.TV in bedroom received free to air channels but didn’t realise this until our last day. Heritage King is a very large quiet space which was great.

We were unaware that the bar and resturant on the ground level are not part of the hotel anymore and were closed on the weekend we visited.

The pepper sauce was a first for me as an ex chef never have a seen or tasted a worse sauce in my 65 years on the planet ..

The breakfast was perfect and delicious. Hotel had lovely ambience. We had a leaking tap and tv didn’t work and once reported it was fixed immediately. Great stay, would definitely stay again

The room size was very good. All the room amenities were spot on. I appreciate the complimentary bottled waters in the room as well as the quality bath wash, shampoo, and lotion. I really like the complimentary snacks and coffee choices in the mezzanine. I highly recommend the breakfast too.

The elevator was out of order on our check out date. We had to manually carry our luggage down 4 flight of stairs. Luckily, the front desk attendant was quick to help us with our large luggage.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Best place we have stayed in years. Would love to come back and stay again!
