Ideal location for Vieux Port and on the edge of Le Panier. We chose a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the port plus it had a shady terrace. It's a first class hotel by any measure but what makes it stand out is the efficiency and friendliness of the staff

I'm being picky but it would be good to see more choice on the dinner menu

Room was spacious and of good size. Bathroom was spacious clean with modern, nice, chic design.

Room design is pretty outdated, dark wood furniture and carpet, made the room look so dark. And no desk lamp or any light above the desk making it very uncomfortable to work on the laptop.

Amazing Hotel right in the center, very luxus, big room and amazing bath tub. Very quiet. Stunnibg view. Near by you can find great restaurants and sight.

My suite is very comfortable, I think it is one of the best suite in the hotel, but some outlets don't work. The view and location is best of the best.

The location is nice - no crowds, very close to the Old Port, to Mucem, to Sainte-Marie-Majeure. The facilities/building are beautiful and historical. Attentive staff. Exceptional approach - I checked-in at the arrival at noon and was offered my room straight away ❤️ which is a real pleasure for a tired traveler - and the whole +1 to the ranking. I also appreciated a thoughtful touch with Byredo cosmetics in the bathroom amenities - it creates a nice anchor in memories attached to Marseille.

Overall, the hotel design is a bit outdated, wear and tear, as well. Would be great if IC owners make a renovation, as a big potential is still there. A bit negligent state of the room: some marks on the curtains, the draining system of the bathroom is far from being perfect and created troubles in the last day of stay. No desk lamp surprisingly, not comfortable to work, had to move a lamp from a bed table to work space by myself.

Overall it’s very good, and also very good breakfast and terrace.

Superior room was on the ground floor and with inner garden view.

We enjoyed a decent enough stay in this hotel which is well positioned close to the old port of Marseille, it has plenty of staff in all departments to deal with demand and thoughtful security when necessary. The room was well appointed and comfortable although « room with a harbour view » was a very generous description.

The restaurant is good but has been spoiled by a singular lack of dress code in the evening which invites mainly younger generations to dress down; we were less than impressed especially as there are many quality restaurants in the area where dressing for dinner is appreciated. This is not an hotel in which to say unless you are prepared to accept children at every dining opportunity, many of whom were uncontrolled and used the area as their own personal playground.

This property was amazing in every way.

This hotel is has spacious rooms, beautiful old architecture with a modern feel. Stunning! The breakfast was the finest I have had in Europe. The staff was outstanding.

Paid EUR 49 for the garage and the car is still parked under the sun and totally heated up when you want to depart and no response from management despite promise to follow up. Embarrassing for a 5 star.

Beautiful building, very friendly & professional staff particularly mrs M. Allouch( responsable clientèle) . Perfect location ,spacious room ,comfortable bed . Dog friendly, beautiful view from he terrace , We had a perfect time at the hotel we will be back many thanks

The location was great, the room and bathroom was really nice, the breakfast buffet was amazing!

Had a problem checking-in using my card. It was refused and I had to use another card. Upon checking with the bank, they said that the card was good and nothing was wrong with it. It's their system that had the problem with it. I've been using the card with no problems at all since.

So beautiful building

The front desk staff was great and amicable. the room was very good sized, and the Bed was amazing, the cleanness was perfect and so was the service rendered by the House cleaning, the Restaurant and Snack bar were wonderful

the pool and spa are not the approachable physically nor friendliness wise, having to go through a reservation process to go to the Pool was too complicated and so we didn't go, getting there physically was a labyrinth on its own, the Breakfast buffet was OK, but the service wasn't as expected or desired we specifically reserved and were assured we were going to get a king size bed mattress, those didn't wait for us, so we had to change rooms after unpacking and a few hours later

Everything, rooms were immaculate and well maintained. Bar and restaurant food and drink was exceptional. Staff could not have done more for us and were extremely polite and helpful. The view is one of the best I have seen from the terrace bar .

Vert poor room service after 23.30. For a 5 star hotel it’s incredible almost nothing to eat and when we order the plates came dirty!

Average Pool, lack of body soap in the bathroom, of Kleenex … Very ordinary rooms and bathrooms - for a 5 star hotel. Just wasn’t up to the standard we expected (very expensive extra charge for our dog)

The staff adjusted properly to our request accordingly due to my wife's inability to walk too far from the elevator due to back pain... In all honesty they responded way better than I expected.. for that.. I really appreciate the effort and outcome..

We were given a free room upgrade for the second time we stayed here. The Hotel is very luxurious and well situated overlooking the Old Port of Marseilles. The breakfast room and choices were outstanding. The bar staff and service were excellent... the female mixologist and hostess, sorry I can't recall her name but it began with "L", was a real star.

The slightly quirky placement of the main lift block relative to the floor plan meant that ot toom was a long distance from the lifts. We learned to rale the slightly out-of-the -way service lift instead.
