Riad Azoulay, Marrakech

Very nice property not far from the parts you go to see but not close enough to hear the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Super clean and very calming atmosphere. All of the staff were very helpful and attentive as-well. They also let us leave our bags there after check out and use the facilities.

The property was beyond beautiful, decoration & architecture was wonderful and just made it really comfortable for us. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and our room getting cleaned every day was just a bonus. Our room was so beautiful and big, felt like a suite! The Souk is so loud and then you walk into the Riad and it’s so peaceful and bliss! Thank you for a fabulous experience!

From 8am breakfast started which was noisy and as our room was just where breakfast is, we couldn’t sleep in but that’s not a huge problem.

Beautiful Riad in the spice market. Gorgeous room (the Royal Suite). Delightful staff who couldn’t be more helpful. It was my wife’s birthday (which I had not mentioned) and all the staff came to sing Happy Birthday with a cake and a candle and a present of earrings. Fresh flowers, fruit, sheets, towels every day.

Nothing, however some people might find the entrance through the spice market late at night a little intimidating. (Even during the day if this is your first time visiting Marrakesh but do not let this stop you from booking.

Travelled as a Family of four (two teenagers) who stayed in the royal suite.
We had a fantastic stay, staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. The whole riad is beautifully furnished and kept immaculately clean. The location was great and recommendations for what to do and where to eat were excellent. We ate here for breakfast and one dinner and used the spa and I would recommend both.
We would love to return as the stay exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we arrived, the personalised service from every single member of staff was exceptional. They kindly arranged a tour of the medina for us and for treatments in their hammam. We ate dinner at the Riad on a couple of evenings and the food was always delicious. The staff really are the difference here though - all amazing!

Such a beautiful property in a brilliant location. The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was ever a problem. They made drinks and dinner reservations for us and gave us such great recommendations. 10/10 for everything

The service and style of the Riad Azoulay was superb. We were well looked after from pre arrival to final departure. They booked high quality transfers and organised a great guide for a walking tour of the medina. And the food was delicious!

Great athmosphere, amazing bedroom, very nice staff, nice to have a mini pool to cool down !

Perfect Riad away from the business of the city. Once you step through the doors you can’t tell you’re in the middle of a city.
Spotlessly clean.
Location is actually excellent, felt safe at night, walkable to main square and attractions.
Staff were all great and welcoming

Everything! Central but quiet, serene and peaceful atmosphere to relax in, stylish design and well decorated. Rooms comfortable and everything worked. Lots of small touches such as dates and water, small snacks. The staff very very warm and attentive, took care of all or needs including guide and transfers. 100% efficiency. Excellent breakfast and we enjoyed a great dinner at the property.

Beautiful rooms and common areas, and staff that go the extra mile for their guests. One day we had lunch very late and were unable to find a light dinner in the Medina, but the staff prepared a small meal for us on very short notice. The rooftop and lobby of the Riad both provided a wonderful oasis amidst the frenzy of Marrakech. If you decide to dine at the Riad, you will not be disappointed - it is outstanding. And if you enjoy an occasional beer or glass of wine, both are available on the menu.

A fabulous Riad in a quieter area of the old town. Exceptionally kind and polite staff who can’t do enough for you. Beautiful interiors and spotlessly clean. Great food.

We did the cooking workshop with the Chef and she was amazing!
The Health pass is also one to go for! The Hamman experience was super relaxing!
We absolutely loved all of it!

That our stay was so short!

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The rooms were large and cleaned daily and the beds were very comfy. Good location and could walk to all the attractions. Staff were helpful with local recommendations and the dinner at the Riad was fantastic

Excellent quiet retreat from a very busy city. Staff and service very good. Was safe and familial enough to leave our young teens there alone for a few hours and know that if anything happened they would be taken care of. Would definitely stay there again.

- As the Riad is right in the Medina, it means that transport cannot reach it directly - we had not realised this. The first walk from the taxi drop of point to the Riad through the busy souks was quite an experience, avoiding motorbikes, and pushing through the crowds (although the Riad sent a man with a cart to carry the bags). After a day we were able to navigate the souks much more easily, but it was a bit of a shock on arrival. This is more of a heads up to other visitors than a negative point. It was still much better than staying in a chain hotel outside the medina!
- Water in the shower was cold. Not a big issue as it was refreshing.

A comfortable and relaxed family trip for us.Extremely friendly and helpful staff, ready to oblige any request, including a call from outside La Majorelle ,when we couldn’t book the tickets on line and the guys at the reception did it for us in ten minutes.Yaseer was was helpful with information .

The location of the riad is through the spice market.The arrival after a day of travel was….overwhelming.Took us a day to get used to go through that twice a day.

Beautiful furnishings, understated but elegant with attention to every detail. Located in Mella, away from tourist trail but 5 mins walk from main sites. There are lots of riads in Marrakesh. What makes Azoulay stand out is the team of staff who seem to read their guests & know how to make each person’s stay perfect.

Beautiful place with every small detail they have a relaxing environment in the middle of the spice market. The staff is very lovely, they're helpful with anything you need. We organised the transport with them back and forth for the airport. Had a lovely dinner on our first evening, it was super delicious. Breakfast was also wonderful. We used the pool couple of time which is beautiful and refreshing.

For us the location is fine, but for information it is about 20 mins walk to the very centre of Medina. It is somehow good to be little bit away from the hustle but some may not prefer the location. Like all Riads you will hear other guests if they re chatting around the pool or in resting areas, not a big issue but this is how it is in the riads.

We had an amazing time in this place ! Everything was perfect. People who works there took really good care of us and all the stay for us was just lovely! :)

The riad is a beautiful, tranquil oasis just moments from the busy spice market. The interior decoration is lovely and the staff are simply wonderful, attentive, helpful and always smiling. With a cool and calming space by the interior pool you can relax quietly or enjoy the sunshine on the lovely rooftop. The food is another bonus - all homemade and fresh.

this is a lovely place to stay in Marrakech. Still in the old city (Medina) but not too close to all the touristy places, but all in walking distance.
The staff is very friendly and they try tu fulfill every wish you have. We not only had breakfast but also dinner on some evenings there. Much more worth the money than many places in the city.
We will come back and highly recommend the place
