Spacious room with comfortable beds. Great rooftop views.

- Hotel provided us with water daily which I thought was free but we were charged for it our final bill. guests should be informed of such things. - The AC was not great and did not get very cold even though it was on 17 degrees. Would wake up during the middle of the night because of how hot it was. Even going into the reception it was always hot. Don’t understand the lack of AC there during the very hot summer months. - Parking is NOT available despite it saying they do. It is available only for 39 euros per night. Never heard of a 5 star hotel making their guests pay for parking, especially when the rooms are 500 euros per night. If you don’t want that option, then you have to park 10 minutes away, so not convenient. When we decided that we wanted to use the hotel parking on our last night because we were tired or walking every time, we were told our car was too big and can’t use the hotel parking anyways (mind you our car was a small Kia) but that was too big apparently. This to me is not acceptable, given Mallorca is known for tourists renting cars to get around, a 5 star hotel should accomodate for this or atleast have valet, it’s the minimum.

Very good recommendations for dinner restaurants, we used 7 recommendations during our stay, best was The Merchants which your friendly Polish employee recommended. Room nr 2, close to spa which we used after rounds of golf, suited us perfecly and also overall liked the room, we used the balcony also for relaxing after golf-spa. Your eggs benedict should be marketed more, once we tried it was hard to not choose again.

One means of improvement would be for me to get a copy of confirmed booking at restaurant, in two restaurants they didn´t recognise our bookings made by yourselves. Fortunately we had a handwritten note from your reception that we could show them. In one of these restaurants we were placed at bar for eating, that was of course not what we had expected.

tbh i don't really like the windows style in our bathroom. it looks like nothing to hide. Though the distance seems large enough when i looked outside at the window, I still think it doesn't appropriate to use any windows without hidden things in a bathroom. :(

Amazing staff, central hotel. Comfortable and clean. My one and only negative point would be the breakfast menu… the eggs Benedict were terrible Except from that 10/10

This is such an excellent hotel. Located a stone's throw away from a beautiful cathedral where you can see Antoni Gaudi's magic decorations. With a view of the Mediterranean See from a spacious room, one can watch sunsets and relax on a gorgeous balcony. An ancient old city is a few minutes walk from the hotel. There is also a sauna and jacuzzi on the premises and a small restaurant up on the rooftop of the building from where there is a beautiful view of the sea. The staff makes sure your every wish is fulfilled. Exceptional.

The view is great and so are the breakfasts!

No pool is hard in the heat of summer and especially because the nearby beach (which is packed) is about 0.5 km walk across a very busy, big main road! The restaurant setting is picturesque (amazing view but sunny and hot!). The menu is limited - mostly just (pricey) tapas. The food is really high quality though! Must stay facing the ocean! Do not bring a rental car (all permitted and the old town roads are teeny) and your guests will need to park away / cannot pick you up/only taxis allowed. Not really a beach holiday place for a family.

The bed is really comfortable and everything is super clean! they organize our room always no matter what time we go out, and we always had new water and chocolates or similar :) The Staff super helpful and nice, they help a lot with recommendations and reservations in restaurants and beach clubs, the decoration is very nice new and beautiful ! And when sleeping it was very quiet. We liked the location a lot! We used the Creative Room for a work meeting and they gave us some drinks and be there for us in case we need something. SPA is included.

Wifi doesn't work very well, super slow. The SPA does not have a cold shower, and outside the sauna it is warm, so you cannot do the temperature change for the muscles. They gave us water, but with the temperature of the place it was already hot, so it is not the best after the sauna or hot jacuzzi. I think with a cold shower/basket and cold drinking water it will be very nice! The hotel does not have a swimming pool.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - particularly Theresa and Ines. The room was very large and very comfortable. The hotel was located in a quiet area within walking distance of old town Palma. Breakfast was bespoke and lovely on the roof terrace with spectacular water views. The hotel’s amenities were environmentally conscious.

Room service menu was limited. No door between bathroom and other room - only a sheer curtain. The property name is Mediterranean Sea House. This is a bit of a misnomer because it is not on the beach, you will have to take a cab or bus to access nice swimming beaches. Perhaps my ignorance shows here??

The superb view from the terrace restaurant, the helpfulness of all the staff, the location was second to none, the peace and quiet. It's a beautiful hotel!

Great place to stay for a visit of Palma Center. Walking distance to many attractions. Breakfast with a view to harbour and city. Had a bottle of copa for free on my birthday. Great stay.

Excellent location between the town and local beach v easy to walk to both. The staff were all superb.

Excellent stay in Hotel Calatrava. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or accommodating and regularly ensured everything was to our liking. Rooms, reception area, spa and rooftop bar were extremely clean and decor was all very modern. We also received a free room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise! Location was superb - short bus ride from the airport and all the main attractions of Palma were within walking distance. We couldn’t fault our stay and will definitely recommend Hotel Calatrava to friends and family!

The huge room, large and comfortable bed. amazing view from the breakfast restaurant. the breakfast was really delicious. we did not have a sea view, our window has street view, but the street is small and quiet (during the night no noises). 8 min of walking to the center.

the hotel is really small. if you like vibrant hotel atmosphere, its not that place.here was quiet boutique atmosphere. when we leaved the hotel, we asked to call the taxi for us and we gave the address where we needed to go. and we persistently asked the reception to explain the taxi drivers where we need to go. also we showed to the taxi driver our address of our next destination (in English). But the taxi got us to the other places, the driver shouted at us in really rude way, and he told the receptionist didn’t explain anything. the end of the holiday was really stressful for us. the hotel should more take care of the request of the guest and cooperate with normal taxi companies.

Wow - what a hotel! 5* - with character. We were given without asking a free upgrade to a 5F suite. Adjacent glorious roof terrace looking at the whole bay, sea, sunsets etc and where we had breakfasts and spent part of most afternoons reading in the warm (not hot) sunshine. Walked out into centuries of history, stunning architecture, alleyways, shops if needed/wanted. Wonderful friendly, helpful and highly professional staff.

Very little. Hotel does not have a significant evening dining option - but offers a list of high quality restaurants - pretty well all within walking distance, and nearly all first class.

The staff were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble, it made our stay feel like we were staying with close friends. The views are spectacular. Our room was large and super comfortable with a fab bed and linen. The rooftop terrace has to be the nicest in all of Mallorca and the spa treatments fabulous!

Parking is a NIGHTMARE. Either take a taxi or rent a small car. We didn't read the small print and rented an SUV and had to park blocks away and only overnight but this was not the hotels fault...this is the price you pay for staying in central Mallorca.

Superb location close to all historical monuments, sights and the nature (Mediterranean) in Palma. The size of the hotel is perfect to enjoy the personalised services and feel the non-industrial hospitality. Rooms are huge big and very comfortable. Staff is extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast served in the rooftop terrace (don't forget to try the freshly squeezed orange juice, orange is harvested in Mallorca)!

One of the best hotels we have stayed in Europe. All the staff are wonderful, friendly and professional. The manager of the hotel must be doing a fantastic job keeping the great people and maintaining the high level of service.

The hotel is lovely with a fantastic roof terrace. Stunning view over the sea. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, walking distance to the busy centre but in a quiet square.

I like to exercise when I’m away so a gym would have been 👍

This cute boutique hotel is very accessible from Palma airport by car, and the city center is easily reachable by foot (about 15 minutes). Rooms and lobby are curated with some artworks. F&B (lunch, breakfast) was of good quality, and the lovely and efficient staff is going out of their way to welcome and help you.

Overall the hotel building was pretty small (only 15 rooms in total) and rooms aren't wide either. Despite being well-connected, the area where the hotel is located looks some kind of Palma surburbia, it is quiet/residential, yet a bit empty and certainly lacks some flair (no shops nor restaurants nearby). Given the neighborhood, it feels even a bit unsafe to be walking in this area at night. We wouldn't stay more than 2 nights in this location.

Located by Casco Antiguo. Very nice terrace for breakfast. Staff is extremely friendly! Room is very big and nice.

It is a nice hotel but not what we expected. We booked deluxe view to Casco antiguo and our view was to the wall of the next building (which they consider to be casco antiguo). They did everything to make us happy and changed us to a higher floor room to have more light inside the room. Our room at 2nd floor was very dark, not what we expected at all for Palma visit. There is no parking, or not big enough to actually park so you have to go to a public parking that is 15 minutes away and quite expensive. Not really convenient on hot summer days. Location is not the best if you are looking for beach days.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Not that we ever saw them but the housekeeping staff were excellent ensuring an immaculate room at all times.

Outside of the property’s remit perhaps but in the narrow lane at the back of the hotel was a loose drain cover that when ran over by a vehicle (which was not at all often) made a very loud double bang which woke one up early in the morning and was annoying when it happened during the day. Perhaps a word with the city authorities?

Amazing Hotel by all means, they upgraded my room to a wonderful suite, the staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. Rooms are very clean and, everything was beyond perfect! Will definitely come again!

the only thing i didnt like is the noise of housekeeping and some guests in the early morning.
