Facilities were great and specious and the beds are hotel level comfortable

Could use more hanging racks/hooks and maybe a bit more privacy in the shower (like the option to lock the shower/ toilets) Also the higher lockers are a bit uncomfortable to use if you're a short person and I ended up leaving my bags outside the lockers Not the most social hostel but was perfect for me

Location is very good. The breakfast is buffet-style, offering a good variety of high-quality options. The social areas are pleasant, but they can occasionally feel crowded.

I love staying here. It’s a beautiful building carefully restored to accommodate single bed accommodation.

Very clean, nice staff, elevator made it easy to get to the higher floors.

Very loud snorer in my room put a damper on my stay but I couldn't fault the hostel itself.

The staff of the reception was super nice! The rooms are very comfortable. Each room has its own showers and toilets! Very comfortable!

There is not much equipmets and cutlery in the kitchen to cook

Well, we needed breakfast at 8 am and a whole group 20+ youth were staying there. They wiped out the chocolate croissants in 5 min as they each took 3 or 4. I think someone should mention to groups to be aware of other single guests. Perhaps the leaders of the group should inform the teenagers about taking quantities of food at one sitting.

+ No curtains + No drying paper or towels for even washing hands. I was there for about 12 hours and found that annoying + No towel for shower

The lovely public space and excellent location.

The dormitory room type without toilet and shower room should be better. Although a wooden door has been used to separate the sleeping and bathroom area, the sound insulation effect is still not good.

The location is awesome, right next to Plaza Mayor! The room was super clean and the kitchen/bar was super nice too!

It was the best hostel I have stayed in, in Spain. Highly recommend it In all respects

The location was excellent and the accommodations were comfortable. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure and complimentary bottles of water were appreciated.

The cost for one night for a family room with private bathroom was expensive.

Nice hostel placed in city center of Madrid with a nice living room and cozy bedrooms

the breakfast could have been more fruit- vegetable oriented but it is still a nice one

Property was nice, there’s an elevator so you don’t have to walk up the stairs. Building is super cute, and the kitchen/bar area is also cute. Didn’t buy the breakfast because there are so many cute cafes in the area.

There wasn’t much to dislike, but you can clearly hear if someone is talking in the hallway.

Location is the best, just near the Sol square and metro station. The hostel has great common areas and kitchen. The staff is friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Would stay here again. Nice and comfortable bunk beds with sockets. Breakfast worth the money, variety of options.

Note that in the kitchen there is no stove (oven and microwave are avaliable). Would be great if the bunk beds would have curtains for more privacy and protection from light

The heat was on and there wasn’t a thermostat in the room, so it got uncomfortably warm.

The hostel was exceptionally clean, and the room was very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. The location was excellent—perfect for exploring the area. Highly recommended!

Super staff Beautiful and clean rooms Exceptional position in Madrid

It was super clean, very good location right next to Sol station and 5 min walking from Plaza mayor, the rooms were very clean and we had 2 showers and 2 toilets to share among 8 people which is very reasonable for a hostel. The beds are comfortable with their own light and plug. Lockers are spacious enough for a cabin trolley and a backpack and some stuff more, you should bring your own padlock or purchase it there.

Only 2 things could be improved about the room, first the beds lack privacy as they don't provide curtain. Second, the showers cannot be locked from the inside.

Great cost-benefit, public transport near, bus and metro, connecting with the whole city. They have a nice kitchen that everybody can use.

The location was perfect as it's in the middle of the city and easy to go anywhere. I didn't expect it was so comfortable when staying in a hostel. The room was large enough for 3 of us and it's clean and tidy. Even its location was in the city centre, it's quiet enough for me to sleep at night when I closed the door of the lovely balcony. The staff was very nice and helpful. My son loved the common room where I loved this beautiful building. We will definitely stay here next time and I highly recommended TOC hostel Madrid.

This hostel is in city center and near the metro station, very convenient. The staffs are very nice and the room is very clean. To some extent, how comfortable of your stay depends on which room you got. Some are a bit tiny but some are really big, bright and comfortable. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in Madrid.

If they can put some clothes hooks or a coat rack in the bedroom, that will be really helpful, especially in winter.

The hostel is more than wonderful in the center of Madrid. The room is good and clean and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast place is very nice and classic. I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back again.
