Location

The location is absolutely the best — very convenient to go anywhere. All the staff are incredibly lovely, from the moment you step into the hotel to the pool upstairs. The service from the staff is truly excellent.

The room's cleanliness was disappointing. There was hair all over the floor even though I had just checked in. At the foot of the bed, there was hair from the previous guest — I could tell it wasn’t mine because it was a different color. Even after the room was cleaned the next day, there was still hair and dust on the floor. It seemed like the cleaning was done in a rush. When I came back to the room in the afternoon, the floor was still wet and hadn’t been properly dried. Everything else was great, but the cleanliness was a letdown.

Amazing hotel, perfect location within walking distance to everything. The pool and rooftop are amazing and a great spot to unwind, and the restaurant is fabulous. The room was spacious and spotless and serviced twice a day. But the best thing is the level of service - literally every member of the hotel staff went out of their way to swiftly help with every single wish, request, or personal issue we had throughout our entire stay, always with a smile, making our stay comfortable and giving us the feeling we were the most important guests at the hotel. Definitely my top recommendation to stay in Madrid

Really nothing…

The room is spacious and nicely decorated. Also, the Le Labo amenities are blessing.

We waited for almost 2 hrs from the supposed check-in time. The room took ages to get ready.

Rooms (bathrooms) are a bit too dark

The location is perfect, staff is very friendly. A month prior I mentioned via email that we were going to Madrid for a concert, and there was a hand written note in the room which ended with enjoy your concert. A small detail, but made a great impression.

The breakfast checkin is not organized well. One girl checks each guest (very slowly), then takes them to a table, then comes back to the desk. A line forms ,and people are not happy. Then they ask you to sign a bill even if you have breakfast included which is confusing at the beginning as it was not explained why,they ask you to sign.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The service was beyond excellent — a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at this wonderful hotel.

The hotel is a piece of modern art itself! You just admire and soak it all in. Incredible. It has all the practical facilities too, and the bar is open till late. Great location, I could walk everywhere. The staff is very attentive and the concierge can find any tickets! Loved my stay here.

The whole staff was so kind, helpful and professional, especially German helped us a lot with very good eating and city tips, he is a great concierge!!!. The service of the room was excellent, we loved also that they provide you from the beginning with enough towels. Of course the smell of the edition is worldwide the same and we looove it. The location could not be better, in the middle of the center, lots of shops and restaurant…

I had an incredible experience. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The room was spotless. The location is perfect—close to major attractions but still peaceful and quiet. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip and recommending this hotel to family and friends!

I would recommend to add more breakfasts options

The hotel was beautiful and conveniently located near the shopping area. The best part about the hotel was that they had a bidet in the bathroom which was one of the main reasons I chose it.

The drunk group next door playing loud music and being obnoxious from 3 to 5am. We called front desk but they started back up after security left.

i liked that the hotel added handheld bidet in the toilet, this is a huge plus for us as a middle east arab tourist, since it is very important for us. but the pressure of the water can be bit less, since it is very strong.

i have already informed one of the staff member in the reception regarding my comment and he made sure that he will inform the management regarding that, my comment was on the glass door exist, that leads to the back area of the hotel, not the main entrance. during my stay, i saw 3 incidences of people bumping the door thinking its open, since there is no a sticker on the door that shows it is close, so people can be aware before passing or bumping it.

Design of the room/bed.

Great location with everything nearly by. The room has a modern design but simple. The room is clean and tidy and the bed is comfy. The pool and the roof top bar are closed during my stay/winter time. The water pressure is too strong even we like it but may not fit for every customers. Some staff are friendly and helpful.

Everything was ok at the first 4 nights we stayed, so we decided to stay again when we returned from Malaga. The room offered when we returned is poor, the bathroom's tiles are loosen and I almost fell, we appreciated that they changed the room for us. However, as rated a 5-star hotel, I didn't expect them to offer customers such a deficiency room, what happened if there was no other room available. After we returned home, we received email from the hotel said that the room we stayed has no such issue, do they clear that it was the first room offered and not the room we stayed. I highly recommend them to handle customer complaints appropriately.

Very nice rooms and the location is good

The amenities are first-rate, from the sophisticated lobby bar to the market-inspired restaurant and impeccably designed rooms that provide a quiet escape from the lively city outside. What truly sets The Madrid Edition apart, however, is its service. The front office staff are exceptional, making every guest feel valued with their professionalism and willingness to assist. Room service was equally impressive, with prompt delivery and attention to detail that elevated the overall experience. Although parking is a bit of a challenge, the experience more than made up for it. My stay was initially for business, but I extended into the weekend to enjoy everything Madrid has to offer. It was a fabulous decision and one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve had. I highly recommend The Madrid Edition for anyone visiting Madrid—whether for business or leisure. I’ll definitely be back!

Great location and exceptionally helpful staff. A special mention for Sebastian who spent a lot of time helping us plan our itinerary and made great suggestions, and also to Elena at the Concierge desk for helping and making the arrangements.

Although the location is superb (very near many must see areas and the shopping district), there is a monastery nearby from which one can hear a loud belling tolling at about 8am every morning, which is not great for late risers.

Every single thing about this property was fantastic.

Good vibes, great pool for summer times, beautiful and friendly staff. Thank you and I will be back again.

This hotel is lovely. The rooftop pool was really lovely to enjoy and the staff were extremely attentive. The bar and the restaurants on site were also really nice. It is as the top end of the budget compared to quite a lot of places in Madrid but you pay for what you get and we had a wonderful trip.

It's worth noting the breakfast included is the buffet which was good. If you want anything additional that comes at a cost.

Very good nice place

Very modern hotel with minimalistic decor with lovely rooms and amazing shower. The location was good but found it tricky getting taxis over Easter due to the parades and roads being blocked off so did more walking than planned! The Spa was great and I had a fantastic massage.

The bar area was open to the public so sometimes it was difficult to get a seat when busy despite staying in the hotel. Also took a while to get served.

Luxury hotel, very private, with special design form the lobby to the rooms, with great details. Big room and bathroom. Central location.

LOCATION AND AMBIENCE

The location is perfect, rooms are spacious and bedding is super comfortable. Love the ambiance of the hotel, staff were really welcoming and friendly, there were balloons and a cake for my birthday in the room when we checked in which was really nice.

The lobby which looked super nice in the photos was under construction so we didn’t get to experience the lobby bars and restaurants. We ordered room service the day before checking out to take away our breakfast since we were checking out early but they forgot it.
