Nice big rooms, great bathroom facilities. Transport via metro is quite close.

Lighting controls in the room are strange and no ambient lighting or reading lamps. The room was very hot on arrival and took some time to cool once the air conditioning was set. Ensuring blinds/curtains are down during the day would help keep rooms cool before guests arrive. Breakfast was mediocre and the mushrooms tasted very vinegary, which was odd.

The suite was huge, I liked the city view, also liked the unique sliding walls.

Location was convenient. A quick walk to the airport shuttle and close to the subway. Not right in the center of town but convenient to the neighborhoods we were visiting. We liked the room. It was a cool design. Especially the shower though the controls were a little hard to figure out. Room was spacious and big for a European hotel.

Would have been nice to have a water heater or coffee/tea in the room.

We are photographers and seeing each separate floor designed by a different architect was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our beds were really comfy.

It’s a bit of a way from central Madrid although serviced by nearby metro stops. The water in the shower seemed to pool on top so I was always having to slosh it off. And the food options were a bit limited although always tasty.

- I’d never book a room with executive lounge again, the lounge itself was not worth it, rooftop always closed, pool was closed. You pay more for the lounge etc but no extra perks.

Exceptional design of every floor.

Is far from the city center. Zaha Hadid’s room has really unique design but not really comfortable for long staying, not a single horizontal surface.

Every floor is done by a different designer, some of the floors are pretty crazy looking, it was such an adventure and I would definitely return there sometime! Pictures

Excellent breakfast, very good access to metro and bus, beautiful design, friendly and helpful staff, the hotel lounge on the 5th floor had a good variety of drinks.

The rooms were not very comfortable, especially the 10th floor was too dark for me, of course, I applied and fortunately I was replaced with the 2nd floor, the bathroom on the 2nd floor was not comfortable, it did not have a door due to the design and you felt cold, but it was beautiful.

Most staff indifferent and unwelcoming apart from trainee lady on reception at checkout, very polite, can't remember her name, porters/ door colleagues very polite and helpful.

The hotel was in a good location, 2 minutes walk from the metro and the hotel itself was an amazing unique design. Each floor had its own design and it was a great experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the features in the rooms were also great! I must say Sergio, the night receptionist was amazing - from every interaction he was so helpful and friendly! The whole staff at the hotel were lovely and the breakfast was great too!

There was nothing in particular we didn’t like. I would say it was just a shame due to closure we couldn’t experience the rooftop bar but other than that I think the overall hotel was lovely.

Location was perfect for us as we were close by to friends in the area. If we did want to go into town it was only a 20 min uber ride (or less) as we went during the quiet month of August.

The rooftop isn't open during August and it wasn't stated to us at all until we asked. Perhaps it should be made clear when checking in to manage expectations

It is really a design hotel to at least take as an experience of immersing into the world of the best interior designers where every single floor is decorated by a different renowned designer. So the best thing about the hotel are the brave and creative rooms you cannot find anywhere else.

It has had its best days in the past and you can see it being outdated in various areas. It is an OK hotel, but definitely not 5-stars in todays standards.

Cool architecture of the room. Good value for money. Clean rooms. Good food at the hotel restaurant. Amazing views of Madrid from the 11th Floor.

Not having a separate Bathroom. The shower was in the room. Lighting was not really suitable for the room.

No sauna, for a 5 starts hotel I feel some facilities are missing. Also the doors were very loud at night

the zaha hadid floor (the back side, not the one to the street) is right next to lobby’s air conditioning which is noisy and almost completely disrupts the view. the reception staff needed a lot of time to answer simple requirements or questions, we had to wait a much longer time to switch the rooms then what they promised.

Complete lack of child food or facilities

We stayed in one of the Zaha Hadid designed rooms, which was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and staff were helpful.

The services could have been better for a 5 star hotel. We expected to be able to use the hotel facilities such as the rooftop bar and swimming pool however the rooftop bar was not open on the days we were there and the pool was only open from noon to 7pm. The bar that was open closed at 11.30pm which seemed very early for a hotel bar.

A very luxurious and clean hotel, nice view, very charismatic design, a rich breakfast, good connection to the airport ant the city.

Unique

Location, so far from Madrid centre. I dic not like the charge of 50 euros each day that would be paid back at close of the stay based on any incidental’s incurred at the bar etc. expenses should be paid as you go or settled at the end of the stay.

It was a very nice facility.

I requested 2 beds in the room since I was traveling with my son. He arrived the night before I did. I was quite disappointed on arrival to find out that there was only one bed in the room and there was no private shower. It was quite awkward. No effort was made to offer another room.

Very professional and friendly staff. Room was VERY spacious, and it was super clean. The bathroom was huge and clean. The view from the room was amazing with a lot of clay tennis courts across the street (the highway). The walk to the metro was around 4 minutes so almost nothing. Uber was super easy to use as well because the hotel is next to the highway, so great location. The hotel looks really good from the outside, especially when the sun is down because it is super colorful with all the lights. The hotel on the inside is spacious, clean, and has a very unique modern design. There is also a gym and pool that we didn't use, so can't say anything about them.

There was a very strong smell of detergent when we first checked in, and it was really annoying. Once it was gone, everything was perfect.

Parking was fantastic and not some small basement. Each floor decorated by a different designer and they welcome you to walk through the hotel. Hotel staff all friendly and helpful. They made time for you! Just a few block walk to the metro. Bus stops in front of the hotel.

Nothing stands out for us. It was a great visit.

The room was cute and had ample space for two people with a big bathroom ( loved the shower options and the water pressure). The beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean.

The design and the service

Room was very unusual, Stayed on floor 7 "White". Room was a circle, with round bed, could go around the bed and bathroom from both directions.

I didn't like that the shower was over the bath in the middle of the room with no door or curtain, there was a door on the toilet but was glass. Both the toilet and shower were opposite a mirrored wall which is really off-putting looking at yourself on the loo / in the shower. Plus no privacy if sharing the room. Also bar staff were slow and not keen to serve drinks, said twice they were too busy to make a drink...

The room size was good. The breakfast options were very good. The restaurant and bar areas are nice. The pool area is also nice. The location is very good as the metro is nearby to head to the City Center. The space within the hotel ground is large.

Not enough charging points in the room. Not enough storage/cupboard space in the room The layout was a bit quiky especially the bathroomn area without doors to the shower area!

The bed was comfortable, and the room had two pillows per person.

One of the spotlights in our room kept blinking. Training room was small and didn't have so much to use in what we expected a 5 star hotel to have.
