Hotel Emperador, Madrid

Everything! This was our third visit albeit without the use of the pool as it was December. The city was beautifully lit up for Christmas . So nice to return to a lovely comfortable hotel, great breakfast, spotless rooms and lovely staff. It was an absolute pleasure as always! 😊

Room size was excellent. Cost for three nights in the centre of Madrid, in the run up to Christmas was great, very good value. Roof bar was open even in December, nice view. Staff of the hotel were excellent, very good service in the roof bar, and the ground floor bar. Would highly recommend.

Nothing really. View from room was inner yard, but this did did not affect us. Room was great, size. The shower was excellent.

Location is excellent, near metro plaza Espana and Caliao and just next to Santo Domingo metro.Walking distance to any interesting place and historic center..I did not feel unsecure at all as i am solo female traveller .Nice hotel , nice lobby and roof top bat restaurant with pool.

We’ve been going to this hotel for years now. Its location, professional staff and excellent service keeps us wanting to return every year to it.

Really, nothing at all, possibly re-establish the third lift as sometimes the two lifts tends to be in use a lot with the big number of clients in the hotel.

Location was excellent, room size was good, breakfast was very good, lobby area was great. The only comment was the bathroom, where there was a leakage in the faucet and the marble floor in the bath area was with stains (Room 120)

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Emperador. The location is fantastic, right in a lively central area with plenty of shops and restaurants, and a McDonald’s right next door. There is a metro station directly below the hotel, but we actually found it easier to walk to the Sol station because it required fewer transfers. The room was spacious and clean, which made our stay comfortable.

For the price, it would be nice if the hotel provided complimentary bottled water every day instead of only on the first day.

An exception hotel - the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable and had all the extras required. The hotel was ideally located close to all the shops and a short stroll from the main squares.

The location was excellent with Santa Domingo metro just over the road from the hotel. The lobby and foyer were nice and coffee was a good option with biscuits. The rooms were functional with safes and comfortable beds. The rooms had air conditioning which we didn't need even in early November. The rooftop bar and restaurant is the draw here with seating areas inside and outside and excellent views of the city!

The shower needed a rubber mat as they were slippery and the only way to extract steam from the bathroom was to open a window. This didn't cause us too much of a problem though. Breakfast was very basic in my estimation. Not much choice and not very filling. Prices at the bar were well...pricey!

There is only one luggage carrier for so many guests, and on the last day he didn’t help us send our luggages in our car. He just left them and said he has many other guests

I liked the comfort of our room. We slept well, nice bathroom. We were on the 5th floor. The pool was closed, we did know that in advance, but a roof top jacuzzi or sauna could be open for autumn/ winter. Loved the views from rooftop.

The roof top menu was lacking healthy options.

Fabulous hotel right in the heart of Madrid! Excellent location, very ,majestic exterior and well-maintained and clean rooms. Also, the rooftop offers breathtaking views of Madrid. Loved everything. We were also put on the 9th floor which made our stay extra special considering the views from the balcony.

The room was clean and modern. The roof top bar and pool area alone was worth it. The view is the best in Madrid. The location is fantastic. Close to shopping, metro, and restaurants.

The Wi-Fi is subpar, at least for my room. Also the bathroom shower has some mold.
