Hotel Emperador, Madrid

It is centrally located, close to transportation, restaurants, historical sites. The room was quiet, clean, and had a coffee machine and a refrigerator. They had a complimentary bottle of water the first day. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water every day.

The water pipes may be old, as the hot water in the bathroom sink had a strange color. The cold water was less affected, but enough not to want to use it for the morning coffee.

Hotel of good quality, staff polite, all as it should be. Roof top pool is great.

It has a great location! Really close to shops, museums, restaurants. Nice roof top terrace to relax, swim in the pool or eat something.

Breakfast was OK. Spread was standard as expected in such properties. They allowed us to check-in early which is rare these days.

Would have preferred a room in the higher floors. (Was given room no 124).

Room Was OK but there was a weird strong medicinal/antiseptic smell that never left after 48 hours.

I chose this hotel because of the great pool area and it didn't let me down. I also enjoyed the breakfast. AC was working well. This hotel has a wonderful location and nice staff.

The smell in the room was absolutely horrible. The bathroom wasn't clean when I arrived. My room was quite small and you could hear noises from the hallway. The TV was very small.

The staff were very helpful and ensured our stay was an enjoyable one. Loved the Pool terrace on the top level which was a highlight.

The hotel was beautiful and well located. Breakfast was excellent and the most important thing: the staff was remarkable :)

Very central location. Easy walking in and around city center. The room was very comfortable with a very nice shower! The roof top pool and bar were something we used each night with a great nighttime view of the city. Starbucks across the street along with a BBVA bank for currency exchange.

The hotel is ideally located for sightseeing all that Madrid has to offer. The roof top bar and pool is excellent and gives you an perfect view of Madrid. The room allocated for our stay was ideal.

There was noise coming from a nearby bar/club which was a disturbing and lasted until midnight.

Location of the hotel was fantastic, everything we wanted to visit was within easy reach either by walking or by using the underground

The price of breakfast seemed very expensive at 19 euro per person, we walked just along the road to a coffee shop and spent 6 euro for coffee and croissants for two people.

Amazing location, close to everything you need such as all local monuments, several metro stations within 5 mins walk. Shops and restaurants close by and right on the gran via. Window looked out to the gran via. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Roof top area is very nice.

Room had tea but no kettle. No iron in room. No full length mirror. Shower was a nightmare to use, leaking and loose. A lot of noise from other rooms, doors slamming. Elevators are slow and small.
