My stay was short, and I didn't experience any negative aspects. Every person of the staff was kind, professional, and attentive. I'm very obsessive about cleanliness, and I have nothing to say about it in this case. Super!

The rooms were large and well laid out. Beds v comfortable. Very clean with a turn down service. Loved the afternoon free tea coffee cake and sandwiches. In an excellent buzzy area with so many tapas bars but easy walking to all sights. Happy and helpful front of staff team.

The location is excellent if you're looking to stay in the center of Madrid. It's close to the major attractions and surrounded by a variety of cafes, restaurants, and bars. Public transport is easily accessible. Despite being in a central area, the building is situated in a quiet neighborhood, ensuring no noise at night. The staff is very welcoming, the room is well-equipped and it has comfortable mattresses.

Lovely place and superb location.

The room was very comfortable and well appointed, feeling luxurious. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Everywhere in the property you feel its great ambience and see the pleasing decor. On this trip to Spain, I stayed in five different hotels, but this was the best one! The breakfast is lavish, and the bonus are the free snacks provided between 16:00 and 19:00. I would definitively stay here again on my next trip to Madrid.

The cleanliness of the room could improve, I found a few pieces of long hair on the bathroom floor. And no, they were not mine, I am bald. :-) Also, it was quite annoying that the housekeeper was persistently knocking on the doors around 19:00 - 20:00 to offer one piece of a chocolate for perhaps exchange of a tip. You are relaxing in the room and may not be dressed to open the door, but the 5-minute (!) consistent knocking made you to do that. I first thought that this is an emergency, the knocking was so violent. I have never seen that at any other hotel in Spain or anywhere else.

Fabulous spacious room with excellent facilities. Friendly & welcoming Reception & bar staff. Excellent housekeeping. The complimentary afternoon sandwiches & refreshments were an unexpected bonus. The location of the hotel was also excellent, close to all the city centre facilities.

To be honest, we were very impressed and have struggled to find any weaknesses or areas for improvement.

Air conditioning was problematic.

The room is large and clean. The king-sized bed was large and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean, the sink was large and easy to use, and the towels were fluffy and very clean. Due to some circumstances, I made a last-minute reservation, but it was a much more comfortable hotel stay than I expected. Probably because I'm Japanese, they upgraded me to a room with a bathtub when I checked in. The front staff and bell boy were both very pleasant people. In the evening, snacks are served free of charge in the lounge. The hotel is in a very convenient location. I have become a fan of this hotel. Thank you!

- the hotel is located in the city centre - not far from all the most popular tourist destinations - cleanness - nice decor - free snacks and hot beverages at the lobby in the afternoons - nice staff - good variety of food at the breakfast - comfortable mattress

- just a tiny nitpick and not really the hotel's fault: at night sometimes you could hear people leaving local pubs shouting in the street, but that's the price of having a hotel located in the city centre

It was located at a great spot, easily accessible from the airport and also close by to the central area of Madrid, with great restaurants and stores around. a special mention has to be given to the absolutely magnificent hosts Sheila and Monica, who were so warm, kind and accommodating in making our stay so comfortable. The property was really good, but they were simply amazing. I would love to book this property again and again whenever I am in Madrid, just because Sheila and Monica go out of their way and beyond to make you feel at home. I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to them.

The hotel was one of the best we ever stayed in. Our room was spacious, the room service facilities were behond our expectations and they offered us cleaning services 2 times per day. We slept in the most confortable huge bed and it was so quiet even though it is located close to busy aeras.

The location is temporarily subject to a closed street due to the construction of a subway station, that makes it a bit more difficult (windy) te reach by taxi . Nothing terrible

Large spacious room in an ideal, quiet location outside the main tourist streets. Close to fun squares, restaurants and bars. Unusually quiet with little city noise heard. Full very good breakfast with made to order eggs and lovely morning staff at breakfast.

Rooms are traditional and dated, but clean. Air conditioning struggled to keep up with the 98 degree days we had while there.

This hotel is a gem. The staff is exceptional. The room was one of the largest in which I have stayed. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Catalonia Las Cortes! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome with their friendly and polite service. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The breakfasts were simply amazing, offering a delicious variety of options that set the perfect tone for each day. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and ideally located for exploring the city. Every detail was taken care of, making our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable.

The location is very good, a 10-minute walk to the Prado with several restaurants within 2 blocks. Staff helpful and friendly. A bar tucked in the back of the lobby with free light snacks from 4-7. We sat at the bar and enjoyed talking with the bartender.
