The location is perfect the atic premium room with nice view also thanks for Alina who helped me a lot the beds are so comfortable and comfy pillowes . Clean toilets central location few minutes walk to city center

Every thing is perfect

Spacious and clean. Has the best view of the Royal Palace. Very close to main attractions and eateries. The staff especially Alina was so helpful, responsive and ready to help.

The location of the hostel is very good. It is opposite the Royal Palace. The hostel is relatively cheap and therefore there are drawbacks: no windows to the street - that is the main thing.

It was clean and the staff were friendly.

The situation was perfect, the simplicity and size of the rooms was wonderful.

The location was perfect to walk to every place we wanted to visit. Our host was amazing, and contacted me prior to the visit with helpful information like metro line from the train station, etc. The room was full of character and was so clean and comfortable.

Great location. Beautiful old building with tiny glass elevator. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and AC worked great.

The staff smoke in an atrium area which also includes the windows of inside rooms. We were unable to open the windows because of this issue. Also, strangely, one of the staff members (a woman) screamed --- multiple times --- at dogs who were located just outside the front door of the property at approximately 11:15 p.m. on the last night of our stayed. We witnessed this incident from the restaurant in front of the property. This was not an isolated incident, as the woman continuously screamed at the top of her lungs at the dogs. This needs to be addressed.

Love the location. View of palace was amazing

The room and bed were lovely, and the location was great - the balcony looked straight into the palace. Value was very good, considering it was over 50% off the "standard" price; however, I would not want to pay any more than £200 a night.

A couple of things could easily be improved: - the curtains and the net curtains need to be on separate poles. In their current configuration you cannot shut the curtains fully as the net curtains are in the way. - shower drainage needs sorting as it doesn't flow to the drain.

We have enjoyed everything from the moment we arrived. Every staff member working at this Hotel were lovely, friendly, and helpful we could not say enough about the staff. So lucky to have such a great Staff. We wanted a view of the Royal Palace, and we had a Rooftop balcony to enjoy. Location was excellent We definitely would love to come back. Thank you to all the staff for the hospitality

We were given an upgrade to the penthouse from our double room. Plenty of space for everything. Shower was wonderful and we had complimentary water and half bottles of cava and red wine, which was a lovely touch. Wonderful view of the Palacio de Madrid from our terrace. The receptionist, Alina, could do enough for us, she was wonderful. Breakfast was in the beautiful cafe outside with a money off voucher. The location was perfect.

Bed was a little uncomfortable and small for a hotel double but other than that, nothing!

The room was stunning it such a great location the staff were super friendly and accomodating the whole time we were there!

The location was perfect. The room was immaculate and the fridge had welcome cava in it, and not the cheap stuff! Great to have a kettle, tea/coffee facilities in the room. Staff were so helpful. Take advantage of their discounted breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. It's fabulous

This is not the fault of the hotel. My room was over the courtyard which meant there was no natural sunlight and I always had to turn the lights on. Book a room with the view if your budget allows it. Otherwise, its perfect.

I loved the location of this hotel. It was so central and still in a nice quiet area. Our room was huge and spotlessly clean. We booked an internal room which was fine but I will be booking a room with a view of the Palace the next time. The bed was really comfy. Alina was brilliant and so helpful. From getting us there with her great directions and having our room ready. I will definitely be back again.

Proximity to everything and panoramic view is awesome. Love this place for what it offers for the price.

Rooms are not well sound insulated. Usually the hustle bustle outside goes on till 4:00 and then the morning crowd picks up. With no sound insulation, it was pretty tough to get a shut eye if you are light sleeper (and jet lagged)

Close to all the major attractions, quiet, nice amenities and a decent view from the attic windows.

The AC seemed to struggle a bit in the larger room and the attic windows could use a wash.

Beautiful period room overlooking the Royal Palace. Alina, the Manager was so helpful and a pleasure to talk to. She made us feel very welcome.

The room was beautiful, and the view of the palace fantastic. From the moment the very friendly and professional Alina checked us in, all the staff were lovely. The room had everything we needed. The location was very central to walk wherever we wanted or to use the metro. We loved our stay at Hostal Central Palace.

For us, the beds were a little soft, but that is only our preference.

The room was extremely comfortable. Very soft mattress and pillows, slept like a baby. The amenities were very clean, and you really feel in home. Even welcome drink!

Very central overlooking the Royal Palace and gardens and a short walk to all the main restaurants, markets and shopping facilities as well as the Museums. We were upgraded to a very comfortable spacious room. The Staff were charming and very helpful.
