We love the breakfast. The rooms are big with a little balcony with the view of the sea.

Probably just the minor fact that the bathroom has a see through wall. Other than that, the room is good. 😂

The TV remote was extremely confusing

this hotel is near hac sa beach and away from crowded city. there is bus station near hotel. this bus no. 26A go many famaous place it cost only $6. we take this bus in front of hotel londoner and get off C677 or C667.

toilet water pipe noise woke me middle of night if some one use bathroom there is so noise sound come from bathroom pipe.

Restaurant opens from 12pm. We couldn't have lunch after check out.

That this is a Portuguese style, well run boutique hotel, away from all the casinos, reminiscent of Macau as it used to be in close proximity to a village which offers great cafes and Portuguese restaurants.

Excellent place for a relaxation

We were given seaview room and it was fantastic. Blue skies and sea was the sight of our balcony. Food from restaurants was fantastic. A unique experience of antique (or not but we'll maintained) equipped room. The room has been comfortable and we had sleepless night. Pousada's staff have been very helpful and friendly. The front desk staff quite knowledgeable about Portugal and Macau and it's history. We even bought some lovely souvenirs which made from Portugal and it's slightly cheaper in Pousada de Coloane, Macau.

The location was quite far off from the city centre. But they have bus stop nearby. There's a shortcut to go to the bus stop from the hotel which needs to passby the swimming pool and climbed up the stairways, we found a snake and it's size approximately about 40 to 50 inches long. We were shocked that evening when we saw it. And it's so near to the pool area. At night, we needed to climb up the mini hills to get back to our room because we were afraid related to the snake at the stairways.

Perfect place who loves the nature. It's a very nice place to relax. Even though the breakfast options are not very rich, I can't say it's bad.

Everything was nice and comfortable, the staff is very friendly responding and solving quickly our inquiries. We received some great recommendations from Iuri (thank you Iuri, the restaurants were awesome!!) I would gladly come again to relax here! Also, please try their restaurant, it is very delicious and get the breakfast as well

Spacious rooms, close to the beach. Large, quiet and comfortable buffet breakfast.

1 Moldy air cons - definitely due for a clean. Also, it would have been great if the front desk staff was more helpful. We are a family of 4 with 2 children and asked if the bus stop was nearby. He said yes and that's all. It would have been more helpful if he gave some advice and told us about the shortcut / stairs to access the bus stop so we didn't have to walk all the way up the road.

Staff was so friendly and helpfull. Restaurant is great with an extensive menu. We ate there everyday. Breakfast buffet was good. Large room with balcony and great view, near beach. You just climb the stairs to the busstation to go into the city. Very cheap and simple. HK dollars can be used everywhere.

Swimming pool was pretty cold. And taxi chauffeurs had problems finding the location somehow. We took a adress card from hotel and then it went fine.

The place is super nice, spacious and clean room, very good breakfast, close to Coloane village. Very good value for money

In our room we had a bathtub and it was really impossible to use it as a shower without making a huge mess. Also, keep in mind the place is quite distant to the old town and Taipa/cotai (but it's so nice and cozy because it's away from everything)

Location, scenery, restaurants , overall nostalgic vibe..

Room interior —cheap door lock , insufficient furnitures, poor TV reception, poor shower design with no curtain to prevent water from spraying everywhere , poor lighting ambient ( too white) , swimming pool was closed.

We were there only for 1 night and wake up early but we got breakfast box!

Always my absolute favourite place to stay in Macau. Charming, friendly, quiet place away from the casino madness. Yes, it's at the far end of Coloane, so takes a while to get there, but that's the whole point: to get away from the busy-ness and have a quiet break, listen to the birds and the sea, and maybe have a meal there or in the nearby village. There's a pool, terrace and balconies, the rooms are large and spotless, wifi is great, and there are plenty of bus connections if you want to do a bit of sightseeing too.

All good. Maybe the breakfast could be better, but it's totally fine.

Good swimming pool. Lots trees and bushland around so there was always beautiful bird song. Views from the large terrace were lovely for meals and drinks

The lovely old hotel is built on a steep slope overlooking the beach. Unfortunately, that means there are a lot of steps and steep slopes to get - anywhere - to reception, to the beach, to the bus stop. For people with bad knees, this can be a problem. For the fit and healthy it's just another lovely challenge.

We loved staying in the converted Manor House and adored the rustic interior of our rooms which were large and comfortable. It was in the ideal location to reach the beach and Fernandos restaurant. Staff were extremely helpful in arranging taxis for us.

Breakfast was delicious but not sure how many Portuguese delicacies there were (not even pastel de nata!)

not good air circulation even with aircon without opening balcony door. strong laundry smell on laundered sheets and/or other cleaning products. a lot of noise late into the night (sounded like furniture being moved in restaurant or hotel back office). the above did not promote good sleep. the price not reasonable when above considered.

Beautifully located on the slope close to the beach. Quite old rooms but with Portuguese character. Breakfast was enough fresh and buffet. Restaurant on site we recommend for dinner, great food.

The dogs stray dogs in the night on the path. They were not aggressive but frightening a little

The walk down to the beach sounded good.

The pool was cold and there were no pictures anywhere. There was a noise from the beach at 6am from swimmers.

There is a leak in the bathroom

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The place was clean and quaint. The breakfast spread was quite good. It was not our best, but it helped set us up for the day. The menu choices during other times were quite suitable for a western palette.

The language of the TV in the room could not be changed to English. It took us quite a while to figure out how to cast from our phones to the TV. The other minor annoyance was the lack of a fitness center or a hot tub. However, for the price, this was still a great deal.

The staff are delightful and very helpful and kind. The Portuguese food and wine options were wonderful.

I understand they are in the process of revamping their rooms so i am sure this will be fixed the next time we visit but there was a huge void in the room that was clearly missing a couch or chair so the only options were to sit on the bed or the one chair for the work table as it was much too cold to sit outside.

I’ve stayed here several times. The rooms are clean and airy, and mine had a balcony and a view of the beach. The staff are delightful and the hotel has a charming old world feel to it. The breakfast is good and the hotel restaurant is not bad either. If you are looking for a quiet, secluded place to relax, this is a good choice.

The Pousada de Coloane is the Macau of old, retaining Macau’s unique charm and history that has been eroded over the past few decades. The property is still close to the Cotai strip and the hotel offers an excellent transport service albeit only during the day. We twice had late lunch/dinner here, which is a high quality Portuguese menu. Wonderful sardines and we tried both the prawn and chicken curries. An extensive breakfast buffet is available - offering a mix of English, European and Chinese dishes, including congee. Did I mention of coffee is superb? There is also an afternoon snack menu with a range of drinks - including a mocha coffee with cream which was good enough for a dessert for me! The decor is very Portuguese in style with beautiful turned wooden furniture and bedheads. Good quality linens too. The rooms are kept spotless. The staff are attentive and helpful and make you feel very welcome from the get-go.

The only thing I didn’t like was the hard mattress. On previous visits to Macau I stayed at the Westin Resort which has changed hands. Worldwide Westin beds were the most comfortable and luxurious so set the bar high for any other accommodation for me.

the shortcut stairs down to the reception on the main road is a bit too difficult. Improvement is much appreciated.

Their staff are great. We asked to change our bills for bus fare and even gave us tips on commute. We requested to book a taxi on our checkout and it was on time. Buffet breakfast is also good. Location is near coloane village and giant panda pavillion.

Stairs! 🤣🤣 You need to climb up (about 3 storeys) to get to bus station which is just outside the resort entrance. Not really a disadvantage of the resort though.

Free upgrade from standard twin to superior double. The room is spacious with nice views. Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Macao while it is easy to get around by bus.

The shower. It is over the bath. The bath was too high for me to get in. I am 78 with bad knees. The shower also wasn't fixed and squirted water all over the floor. The TV was hard to manage. No good English language channel.

It’s away from the crowds but you can easily get to the restaurants, casinos, or other attractions. I love the Portuguese style and tiles. The place is a bit dated but it adds to the charm of the place. My view of the sea was lovely at all times of the day/night. The staff were amazing in all areas. The pool was clean and refreshing!

It’s a bit far from city

The service of this hotel is excellent! The manager helped me and my family and my friends a lot. Our room was also upgrated by the manager and can late check out until 2 PM. We can go by bus to every tourist place in Macau only with bus 26A that we can get in front of this hotel.

I need to hike the stairs everytime i want to go to the bus station 😅

The hotel was cool, calm and elegant. The facilities were excellent and the room was well appointed with a spectacular view from the balcony.

Everything is just fine there, nothing overplay. Pool is clear, comfy rooms in good size, decent breakfast, Especially the cheerful stuffs who provide execellent services.
