Worth considering as a city-center option
Great location to hang around the old town of Macau - most of the touristic sports are within walking distance. You can take the free shuttle bus to the ferry terminal from the nearby hotel (Lisboa). The hotel is not very modern but decent enough to provide a comfortable stay in the city.

Location is great - luck of the draw on how noisy your neighbours will be - bring earplugs
The location was great, easy to get to eateries and all the transport hubs. The room was spacious enough for a family of three. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious.
How loud it gets, we were on a floor with very very very loud guests. There was constantly kids shouting and running along the hallways. Then the neighbouring rooms were either having a debate competition of who could speak the loudest in a confine space or just yelling to speak to someone on the other side of the world.
Room needs to be more soundproof for what you pay to stay at the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the hotel to everyone.
The location is situated near Senado Square and the St. Paul Ruins, as well as opposite the Lisboa Casino.
The hallway smells of cigarettes.

A very comfortable stay in the city centre. Close to all the landmarks and eateries
Hotel Sintra was in the perfect location in the City centre and just a short walk to most of Macau landmarks.. The premises has aged well but our Deluxe Grand Twin room was very large with super comfortable beds.
The buffet breakfast offered to the paying patron was fantastic. A good, fresh selection of western and Chinese breakfast.
The hot water was unbelievably hot (which was great) but more importantly younger and senior persons could easily scold themselves. The taps need replacing.

Very good location for a trip to Macau
The location of the property was very good!! Walking distance to Senado Square and the Ruins. There’s also many shopping and dining options around the hotel. The room is also very big and housekeeping was very generous with requests for water, chopsticks and extra towels.
Ah the aircon in our room was not working properly. It was not getting as cold as we had wanted. Perhaps because the facilities need an upgrade.
