Room was very clean. The breakfast and breakfast room was excellent. No time to try the pool or tennis courts but they looked excellent.

I would have liked some fresh milk in the room fridge and more english breakfast tea. Also some free bottles of water in the room please.

This is a smaller 5 star hotel outside the crazy big hotel zone with the huge hotels. A nice human scale hotel, with a great pool area to relax. The rooms are a bit dated but some have a balcony with good views over the area. Good breakfast and overall OK.

The rooms are not cleaned very well. Lots of dust, especially bathroom outdated and not clean.

I liked the service n hotel facilities and the housekeeping svc staffs were friendly n prompt.

One thing..i dun like. The pillows were all too soft!! No neck support at all. Sink upon weight n ultimately flat...u call tia pillow? Basic usage for pillow is not even the standard type.

One of the best hotels that I have stayed. My child also loved this hotel! All the staffs were very nice and kind. The foods at breakfast were very delicious! And I really loved that the room condition was also great!

Location, staff, cleanliness was amazing. Staff was helpful, breakfast was wonderful. New year event also well organized.

I reserved a dinner for New year event, however I didn’t inform that there was a VIP table for count down party. For me it’s ridiculous to make classification between a people and it was done by one of the useless event manager. I complained but answer was a typical.

Excellent hotel, clean and friendly and not busy. Staff were really friendly and I loved all the attention to details. I have stayed in many top hotels and I would rate this one as one of the best and better then top hotels

Beautiful breakfast room and lovely food, comfortable very large bed. swimming pool and spa was a lovely oasis in the city. An all around great experience.

We loved the resort facilities and the room was fantastic for our family of 5. The food at all the restaurants and room service was delicious.

Service was excellent, friendly and helpful in all departments and the hotel offers very good value. It's also on a pleasantly human scale compared to many other Macau hotels. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, bed was fine. Nice to have enough hangers, so often not the case. Bathroom was extremely well laid out, very good shower and for once enough towel rails (something I often find lacking). Location is ideal if you're attending an event at the Cultural Centre, 10 minutes walk away, but less practical for the Cotai Strip or the historic centre of Macau, when you would need transport. However, I had no problem getting taxis to and from the hotel and the hotel is right next door to the Sands, where there is a taxi stand or you can pick up free shuttle buses to Cotai or the ferry terminal. The pool is nice and is open long hours. Breakfast at the Bela Vista has a big selection but is probably best for Chinese food, although coffee is good (there are machines so you can get your own), there's an egg station and nice bacon. Unfortunately, bakery was below par and juice was so diluted it was undrinkable. A shame as details like this lower the standard. On the other hand, in the evening the same restaurant does very good Portuguese food, authentic (the chef is from Portugal) and good value.

As above, some issues with the breakfast. I was there during one of the busiest weekends of the year which didn't help and the staff deserve kudos for staying so professional when under so much pressure.. The room is a little old fashioned, which personally I am fine with but might not suit everyone. If you want something ultra-modern, there are plenty of other options in Macau. The only problems I had were with the air conditioning controls, which were quite complicated (instructions would be helpful) and it must be said that you can definitely hear people in the room next door and in the corridor, quite typical of older hotels (the Grand Lapa was originally the Mandarin before the Mandarin moved to its new Macau location, so it has a long history). I had no major problems with this but if you were unlucky with your neighbours, it could become a nuisance.

The helpfulness and cheerfulness of staff; the large "Resort" area is a highlight - with a decent gym, lush landscaped pool and tennis courts. The Portuguese / international menu at the coffee shop was mostly great.

A direct-to-door shuttle bus from HK ferry terminal; a pity there are almost no restaurants within a 10-minute walk nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The rooms were clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The swimming pool provided a relaxing atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by the high-quality dining options available at the restaurants.

We had to wait until after 4 PM for our room to be ready, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, we were surprised to find that we had to pay for drinks by the pool immediately, as we weren't prepared to bring money with us. It would be helpful if guests were informed about this policy in advance.

Amazing service from all members of staff. All of them went out of their way to make my stay perfect. The friendliest staff of any hotel in Macau and I have been to a lot of hotels.

Exceptional Staff! Special mention to Ariel, Freddie and Kevin. They are professional, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast buffet was awesome!

The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. The pool is great and the location is very convenient. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Our suite had two balconies with a great view. We were given plenty of water in glass bottles in the room which was really good.

I really enjoyed my stay here again. This is the third time I have stayed here and it did not disappoint. I tried the Thai restaurant this time and the food was fabulous. The pool was wonderful and wasn't too busy so it was relaxing. The beds were super comfortable! I also used the spa facilities, which I would highly recommend.

I don't have anything negative to say actually. Everything was great during our stay.

Taxi service to the Macau outer ferry port is not good: it is close to the hotel. But luggage carriage needs a taxi assist.

It's a very good hotel if you were in Macau with children in your family, especially if you wanted to stay away from the casinos. The two bedroom suite was an excellent choice for our family of four. The facade of the main building looked outdated, but the interior of the hotel and the rooms must have been recently renovated. So it deserved it's five star status.

Although it's close, but the hotel didn't provide any mode of transportation from Macau Port
