Was charged for 3 breakfasts for a one night stay; took endless messages and emails to get a refund. Staff seemed to struggle to grasp that I was due a refund and only agreed when I sent screenshots of 3 separate debits from my banking app. Generally a poor response from more than one person, when the opportunity was there to show good customer service. I would stay again, but would be very mindful of this issue reoccurring.

I got given two rooms first room. Bed was very squeaky second room toilet smell like sewer third room was good no problem with it.

Very smart, presentable & staff for friendly and helpful. Booked close to a venue nearby and ended up having breakfast even though not planned. If you want a comfortable place to stay that does the basics we’ll come here. Me & the Mrs couldn’t recommend enough!

Nothing. It was exactly as advertised and is an absolute gem for anyone who needs a place to stay in the area.

Though a compact hotel room, every inch of the space was well laid out. Good lighting so you can do your makeup at the desk and plenty of power points. Blackout blind worked as well. Only a 2 minute walk from the tube station as well.

The hotel was easy to find and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They even left a little surprise for me in my room as they knew it was my birthday! The breakfast was lovely and the room was very clean and had everything we needed. Good value for money. Very near the tube station and unusually quiet and peaceful considering it is located in such a busy neighbourhood.

The lifts were super slow. I was asked to pay the balance of my booking although I had already paid in full.

Check in process was confusing as I did not receive any confirmation of my hotel booking. Furthermore once arrived, staff insisted that I needed to pay for the room even though I had already done so. It was necessary to open my bank statements in order to verify.

This hotel was perfect for my needs. I was down in London for one night and just needed somewhere to drop my bags and sleep. The room was small, but perfect for my needs. The check in and check out all being done via a screen meant it was quick - although that meant I spoke to no one during my stay. The location was perfect - a short walk to Bethnal Green tube. I enjoyed my view over Bethnal Green and was amazed that despite being sandwiched between a train line and a main road I slept like a log as it was SO quiet. I sometimes struggle with getting the right temperature in hotel rooms with a window you can’t open but I had a very comfortable nights sleep. All in all it was a great whistle-stop stay and I would definitely stay again.

Small but Clean room

Tea cups in the common lounge area were not clean. Brought it to the attention of the staff for a few days and then gave up.

The staff was very friendly. The location was perfect for going to MCM convention at excel.

Room size a little small of our purpose but would be okay for other travellers with less baggage (my friend and I are cosplayers).

Location was great for what we needed as we had a goifg in Hacney so just a 30min stroll. The room was very comfortable and we had a nice view from the 5th floor.

The only issue we had (ewhich is very minor) was the Nespresso machine in the room didn't work

This was a great hotel in a fantastic location, with an easy walk to the nearby tube station. The room was clean and well presented with excellent amenities. I was very comfortable.

I didn't realize I had booked an internal room with no windows, but when I spoke to the staff they very kindly swapped me over to a new room with a window. Much appreciated!

The bed was great - the room was perfect for such a short stay.

It was a good half hour to get into the centre of the city.

Room was compact but had the essentials for a short stay. Everywhere was clean and modern, the beds were comfortable. Self-service check-in was really easy. The hotel is also very close to Bethnal Green tube, just a few minutes walk.

A few more milks for hot drinks in the room would have been good, as would, as would china cups rather than disposable ones.

Having stayed at this hotel before, we didn't hesitate to book again when needing a night in London. It is conveniently located next to Bethnal Green tube stop on the Central line which is only 20 min from St. Pancras International station. The rooms are surprisingly quiet even though you're located next to a busy road and a train viaduct. The room we had was also very spacious and offered everything a wary traveler needs to relax and rest.

The bed was almost too short for me (1.85 m), but unfortunately that is a common issue in British hotels. So I can't really blame them for it.

The room was a bit small even though we booked a queen room. Hard to store luggage. However, the staff are great and location very ideal.

Everything was new and fresh. 3 min walk to subway. Bathroom was a bit small, but fresh and stylish with a rainshower shower head. Big bed and smart TV with Netflix, YouTube etc. Would stay here again!

A bit small rooms, but we knew that in advance. A small fridge in the room would have been nice. Big bags in the room can be a bit tight due to little closet and floor space.

Good location close to the underground and also nearby supermarket and some restaurants and cafes with in walking distance. Quick self service check in so need to wait.

Wasn't easy to follow where the room was located as it was on the ground floor so had to ask after going up in the lifts.

The hotel is very close to the metro station and is very clean. There are many options for a breakfast nearby. Also Tesco in a walkable distance.

If you've never stayed in a room without a window, believe me—you won’t like it. I thought I could manage, but jetlag (when you can’t sleep at night) in a small, windowless hotel room was miserable. I stayed there for six nights and even considered changing hotels, despite Yotel being non-refundable. Another issue was the area where the hotel is located. What you’ll see around includes a lot of graffiti, a gas station, a car wash, and many racks of clothes for sale outside. Keep in mind that Hackney is just up the street. For my early morning trips to the train station, I booked a taxi (£17) instead of taking the 388 bus. On top of that, my stay averaged $200 per night, which is expensive for a hotel of that kind.

We liked the location just a short walk from Bethnal Green's tube station, cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs.

Comfy beds, easy to get too, good facilities, staff available at all times.

Bedrooms in front of the lift can be noisy as you can hear everyone enter/leave the lift. Shower floor felt a little slimy.

Staff at check-in were wonderful.

The room was underground with no window, which was a surprise and not clear from the advertisement. I could hear the person on the other side of the wall bumping into the wall all night. The room was so small that I could touch the walls on both sides.

Warm welcome, very helpful staff. Very nice room. Good location close to underground. Automated check-in is a breeze.

Mattress is rather hard. A soft topper would be nice. Airco doesn't turn off all the way - it's not at all loud at the lowest setting, but if you're sensitive to noise it's still annoying.

We got what we have booked, it was clean and nice, the bed is very comfortable. The staff were also really kind and helpful and we could get to the city center easily from the hotel. Compared to other hotels in London the price is lower so we recommend this Hotel for a weekend trip for sure.

We knew that the room is very small, but a kind recommendation for the Hotel from us to have at least a storage box under the bed and a hanger on the door or elsewhere for the coats.

Bed against wall

The staff are outstanding. Helpful and friendly. The nature of this hotel is that there is no "reception" desk, it is all quite informal. A simple check in check out system - no cash. The breakfast was fairly standard buffet, perfectly acceptable and reasonably priced. The hotel is situated next to a railway line, but the soundproofing is such that you don't hear any trains. The location is great - we recommend going to the new Young V&A museum opposite. Plenty of cafes and restaurants, and a park are all in the neighbourhood. Easy public transport with bus stops and tube station practically outside the door..

The rooms are TINY. The queen size bed is built into the wall, which means that if you are a couple one of you has to clamber over the other. The bed takes half of the space of the room, with a large flat screen smart tv in the wall at the foot of the bed. No drawers, a hook to hang clothes above the mirror (obscuring the mirror!), so no storage space. Coffee/tea machine on the microscopic "desk". Shower excellent in the very small bathroom. This is perfect for a single person or even a couple for a night or two.
