Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel, London

I stayed in a room with a connecting door that cost £1300 per night. The problem was that I could hear the person next door packing their luggage at midnight, and in the early morning, the sound of a hairdryer woke me up!

Rooms are too noisy regardless of the view..

Does not worth the price. First room was like a dungeon. Then we moved to another room to see the sunlight. But again it was not a proper room. Do not waste your money for Mandarin in London.

It is a beautiful hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent and close to Harrods and a tube station. The staff and doormen were friendly and helpful. We were provided with complementary champagne and a cake was provided for my husband's birthday.

The hotel offered healthy meals for breakfast. All meals are delicious and healthy. The furniture is in good condition with high-quality clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and beautiful.

the time for check-in procedure was quite long. We had to stand when we was checking in. Many five-star hotels or resorts do not require clients to stand to check in, just take a seat in the waiting area.

Perfect service by everyone, starting with Antonio (kind, attentive, polite, efficient) at the entrance of hotel and every MO employee with whom we interacted.

The food in the Aubrey was only ok. However we could not fault the service

the heating system was not working in the room. so 3 days in the room was freezing but the day before I left they repaired it.

Staff were friendly and treated us to some cake for our wedding anniversary.

Room was stuffy and for a junior suite not that great. Overall I felt it wasn’t up to the standards of a Mandarin Oriental.

The service was really outstanding, never experienced anything comparable. The team was extremely friendly, helpful and kind. Easter egg hunt lovely prepared and organized for the children. Location perfect. Breakfast and view amazing - we are for sure coming back!

it’s located on the Main Street so you will hear the loud noisy traffic 24/7 .. major throw off if you are a light sleeper.

all was fantastic, too, Spa, Gym, the only think not matching the expectations was The Aubry, it was ok but we are used to better Japanese Restaurants in Singa[pore and Amsterdam.

I like the location, excellent service, lovely staff. A very special thanks to Miss Lina and her colleague Mr…. from the reception for her wonderful reception and kindness, as we arrived at the hotel early before chek-in time and we were tired from the trip. So, she gave us free breakfast for the first day until the rooms were ready, and she also gave us early check-in to the rooms. Also special thanks to the great hotel guard for his service, kindness and smily face.

Refurbished rooms and the doormen / concierge who were very friendly and helpful.

We asked for a very quiet room with no air con noise or near lifts and without outside noise but we could not sleep as a night club had its exit doors open and was playing loud music which stopped us from sleeping. We were told this would go on for hours so we asked to be moved and were taken around to the other side of the hotel. All in all not a great nights sleep and something that could have been prevented if we’d have been given a quiet room in the first place. In the morning we went back to our original room to wash and collect our belongings as we didn’t want to pack everything up at midnight. At reception there was no offer of maybe a complimentary breakfast- the room rate did not include this - or a discount for a future visit. Instead we had a service charge added onto the already expensive room rate. We had already given cash to the doormen.

The hotel is stunning, the staff are beyond friendly and the facilities are amazing. The staff were very welcoming, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel and its facilities was immaculate. We had massages whilst there and they were out of this world. We were lucky enough to eat at Dinner after the receptionist organised a reservation (at very short notice) and the food was divine whilst the service was second to none. Overall we had an amazing stay and hope to return in the future.

The service and beautiful interiors

The room was comfortable. Furnitures and wardrobes are very new and technological. Charging systems just near the bed well thought and designed. Bathroom can just be defined as perfect. The toilet is useful for all nationalities and its electronic. Bathroom amenities are fully in place. Breakfast has variety choice of options.

Room air condition system was not working properly. The price/benefit is quite high. Last minute compulsoey discretion fee apply on the invoice was not kind and not necessary. All visitors who stay on this hotel are well experienced and aware the proprieties. Incase they would like to share, they could share tip but not on that way. My room view was blind, looking into inside of the hotel hole. For that price that view was not fair.

Excellent service, lovely room and accomodating staff (we were celebrating an occasion and they were really kind with the flowers and treats in room). Fantastic gym facilities too.

Ive stayed in lots of high end hotels in London and around the world. For service, the Mandarin Hyde Park was probably the best I've ever experienced, roads of staff on hand to help with anything, very discreet, calm and relaxed atmosphere. Excellent location, right in middle of Knightsbridge, amazing views of Hyde Park on the doorstep over breakfast. 1 minute from the tube which takes you all over London. Highly recommend

It's a shame the sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi can't be shared. As a couple it seemed odd to go to sauna separately or sit in male / female only Jacuzzi when you partner was in a different room. So we ended up not using those facilities

This is without doubt a fantastic hotel, from the moment you step out of your cab at the front entrance you get immersed in the whole experience of being a guest there. from the efficient and welcoming staff, all the way through this hotel their attention to detail and guest satisfaction is their number one priority.

I make no apologies, there is just nothing we didn't like.

Everything was perfect as usual, it is our third visit this year and a perfect way to have ended our trip. A real spoil. The staff, the breakfast, the gym, the room. Everything was great, we will be back, hopefully when there is a special :).

This might be the best hotel we have stayed in, and we sleep only in 5 stars from LHW. . All is just 100% top-notch. You just don't find any mistakes. Staff is 10 out 10. Rooms are 10 out 10. We'll be back for sure! Thank you, Mandarin.
