Ventilation in the room was a little bit fresh A kettle in the room would make it even more perfect :)

The location is fantastic, the vibe of the place is very chilled. The bed in the room was huge and the drinks at the bar were reasonably priced and the breakfast was lovely. Whilst being compact the room feels surprisingly large and spacious, and changing the colour of the lights to mess with my wife whilst she was showering was hilarious

The bed was very firm - we have a very soft mattress at home so I personally struggled with this (my wife slept like a baby though). The only downside to the room was that the window didn't open and you had to rely on climate control. It would have been nice to have some fresh air, overall this isn't a deal breaker though.

The location was great. The room is very cosy . The top roof bar has great view and atmosfere.

IPad in room didn't work. So, we didn't have access to media. Staff tried to help, but not successfully.

Second time staying for work (WTM)

Amazing central location, right on top of Tower Hill station, easy process to check in/check out. Stayed here many times. Food is good, though options are limited. Bar options are great. Room is comfortable, though some rooms are very small.

Staff need to be better trained. Many come across as rude/indifferent. Housekeeping is very slack. If you want to have it done at a specific time, you need to remind them multiple times even after booking on the room ipad.

Location right by Tower of London and next to Tower Hill tube station. Large comfortable bed, easy to use tablet to set room temperature etc, lovely funky lounge/bar area downstairs to chill

Would have liked tea making stuff in the room. Bathroom area integrated into the room, bit off putting if staying more than a weekend

We got a room upgrade for free which was superb. The Manager and his staff were great and Nothing was to much trouble. At the downstairs bar you get free water, and they will microwave any outside food you have brought for you.

Rooms was clean, staff was friendly, check in was easy and quick. The room was high tech and i had an option to select what view I wanted. Tower Hill tube station was super close.

Great service, great bathroom and mostly shower. The room can be smartly controlled through an iPad, from which you can ask for additional services like alarms. The cafe on the ground floor is a nice add-on. The shared space there is also great.

We were woken up by a fire alarm on a Sunday morning. Great that it worked but it was a false alarm and no one came to explain it to us (not really staff's fault, they were willing to help anyway).

Location was amazing! Short walk to Borough Markets, and views over the Tower of London. Room was small, but good enough for a short stay in central london.

It does feel like the prices are shooting up now that they've been taken over and the buyer needs a return on investment

Not much information about the hotel, didn’t know about the roof top bar. Didn’t find any information on the room ipad regarding breakfast times or check out time…. Maybe I just missed it…. Not sure…..

Everything was great, the staff, the location, our room, the views, the rooftop bar. We had a fantastic weekend, the location was fabulous. We walked to St Pauls, Borough market, bikes to the houses of Parliament ( great fun) easy transfer from Gatwick via a direct train to blackfriars ( tube then direct to towerbridge)

Everything.. but the location was fantastic, great part of the city to experience. Cross over towerbridge & walk up the South Side of the river towards the houses of Parliament, or cycle the north strand.

It was our third time at this hotel within 8 years. Depending on what sights you want to see, the location is unbeatable. Especially for the Tower, the Shard, Borough Market, Shoreditch and the O2 Arena.

Unfortunately there were mice running around in the breakfast area. We pointed it out to the staff but obviously there is nothing they can do about it.

It's a digital service hotel, new for me. If you'll ask about the stuff, you should be noticed you check in and check out without stuff through digital desk. Every facility operates from ipad on your table. Overall here isn't noisy(except some issues below). In conclusion - yes, if you have enough money it could be an option. Looking to stay here further and put a fair 10 cause it hotel could be better!💪

For my 3 nights here it was 2 false alarms in the morning. Elevator has been damaged by someone also 2 of 4 could be out of service. See photo in attache. Also some sounds in the night make me sleep less.

False fire alarms two mornings!

So convenient, especially in the cold weather. The last thing you need is to have to walk far from the underground when it is freezing outside! Luckily Tower Hill station is next to it. Clean and comfortable room with helpful, happy staff and a beautiful bar at the top of the building- I don’t drink but a great range of hot drinks on offer also. This is my second time here and me and my partner can honestly say we wouldn’t use any other hotel for our stays in London. We will be back :)

Lovely comfy hotel, excellent location for tourist attractions, friendly and helpful staff, all you need in the room with a few extra fun additions. The rooftop bar had great staff and amazing views. Coffee shop in the lounge is also really useful and the coffee was good! I have stayed a few times and would stay again!

The bed was a tad too hard, but that is personal preference.

Athena on arrival was a joy! So warm and friendly, yet professional!

I only had beans, mushrooms and tomato for hot breakfast as a vegan, not idea really. No vegan sausage, hash brown etc

The usual Citizen M experience - funky done properly, super comfy beds, perfectly formed rooms, fabulous breakfasts and - most importantly - fantastic staff who are always genuinely friendly. The cocktails from the roof bar are highly recommended!

Excellent location next to the tube station and near many beautiful sights of London. Plenty to do close by, but also so easy to get to the city centre. The beds of CitizenM are some of my favourites when it comes to hotels. I generally sleep poorly at hotels, but that is never the case at a CitizenM hotel.
