citizenM Hotel Tower of London

Everything was great, the staff, the location, our room, the views, the rooftop bar. We had a fantastic weekend, the location was fabulous. We walked to St Pauls, Borough market, bikes to the houses of Parliament ( great fun) easy transfer from Gatwick via a direct train to blackfriars ( tube then direct to towerbridge)

Everything.. but the location was fantastic, great part of the city to experience. Cross over towerbridge & walk up the South Side of the river towards the houses of Parliament, or cycle the north strand.

It was our third time at this hotel within 8 years. Depending on what sights you want to see, the location is unbeatable. Especially for the Tower, the Shard, Borough Market, Shoreditch and the O2 Arena.

Unfortunately there were mice running around in the breakfast area. We pointed it out to the staff but obviously there is nothing they can do about it.

It's a digital service hotel, new for me. If you'll ask about the stuff, you should be noticed you check in and check out without stuff through digital desk. Every facility operates from ipad on your table. Overall here isn't noisy(except some issues below). In conclusion - yes, if you have enough money it could be an option. Looking to stay here further and put a fair 10 cause it hotel could be better!💪

For my 3 nights here it was 2 false alarms in the morning. Elevator has been damaged by someone also 2 of 4 could be out of service. See photo in attache. Also some sounds in the night make me sleep less.

False fire alarms two mornings!

So convenient, especially in the cold weather. The last thing you need is to have to walk far from the underground when it is freezing outside! Luckily Tower Hill station is next to it. Clean and comfortable room with helpful, happy staff and a beautiful bar at the top of the building- I don’t drink but a great range of hot drinks on offer also. This is my second time here and me and my partner can honestly say we wouldn’t use any other hotel for our stays in London. We will be back :)

Lovely comfy hotel, excellent location for tourist attractions, friendly and helpful staff, all you need in the room with a few extra fun additions. The rooftop bar had great staff and amazing views. Coffee shop in the lounge is also really useful and the coffee was good! I have stayed a few times and would stay again!

The bed was a tad too hard, but that is personal preference.

Athena on arrival was a joy! So warm and friendly, yet professional!

I only had beans, mushrooms and tomato for hot breakfast as a vegan, not idea really. No vegan sausage, hash brown etc

The usual Citizen M experience - funky done properly, super comfy beds, perfectly formed rooms, fabulous breakfasts and - most importantly - fantastic staff who are always genuinely friendly. The cocktails from the roof bar are highly recommended!

Excellent location next to the tube station and near many beautiful sights of London. Plenty to do close by, but also so easy to get to the city centre. The beds of CitizenM are some of my favourites when it comes to hotels. I generally sleep poorly at hotels, but that is never the case at a CitizenM hotel.

The service was excellent; the front line staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The location is literally steps away from the Tower Hill tube station. The location is safe - even at night. The hotel is very convenient to travel to various parts of London I would stay here again the next time I visit London

The digital aspect it’s actually a great customer experience. The bed was so comfortable and an amazing location just to the underground.

Friendly staff and a lovely breakfast, plus it's super close to Tower Bridge and the underground station, just 5 minutes from the hotel.

Perfect location, right above the Tower Hill tube station. Very cool design in lobby and rooms. Nice staff. Shower is super, especially at the end of a long cold day. We really enjoyed our stay.

Elevators are slow and not always responsive, but otherwise all is great.

The fire alarm went off twice due to other residents vaping. One was early in the morning! Scanning card for the lift wasn’t very reliable !

The alarm in our room went off 3 times during our 19 hour stay. The sound was short lived but shrill enough to rip you out of your comfort zone. But the flashing red light continued for quite a while and was stressful. Not sure why this happened...

Great location and great size bed but not great as only one side accessible. So if you’re older, or less able, don’t book.

Property is lovely and clean. Decor is lovely. Staff are a mix - very helpful guy around the check in area vs very odd lady at the bar. Staff seem to hang about but don’t seem to help anyone like an older couple we saw looking for some help for a seat for breakfast and how to get a cup of tea. The staff member just stood there with his AirPods in …. Surely that’s boring for staff and frustrating for clients.

Staff were extremely helpful and proactive. Breakfast quality was high and fresh.

Amazing location, right outside Tower Hill tube station. Everything self service. Rooms very compact but fine for short stay. Tower view rooms are amazing.

Wasn’t disappointed about anything - only here for a very short stay

It is in the best location, right outside Tower tube station, so most rooms had amazing views of Tower of london and Tower Bridge. Parking at Minories is affordable on Sundays and outside Congestion zone. Breakfast was good. Nothing not to like!

Close to tube station, easy to walk to main local attractions. Staff fantastic.

Getting out of the bed which was against the wall.

Always clean, efficient and high tech, these hotels always have comfortable modern social spaces as their lobby. Wifi works great. Staff are always pleasant. Not the largest of rooms but perfectly proportioned for a short stay. When the charging cable for the iPad which is used to control the tech in our room was broken, staff were very quick to replace it for us.

There weren’t enough devices for staff to deal problems with customers who weren’t able to check in using the tablet devices in the lobby. This felt a little more chaotic than usual and it was unclear who was next in the queue. Staff generally do a very good job here, are always friendly and so this is a tiny tiny point.
