citizenM Hotel Tower of London

One of the quieter rooms i have found in the area, i had one facing inwards so the only noise I could hear was from the room above me (fortunately they weren't too heavy footed). Best value hotel in the area too.

The CM Hotel TOL, is the best Hotel in London. Simply because of 3 things: 1. The Hotel encourages conversation and interaction, in two days I lost count of the meaningful conversations I had with staff and other guests, you simply don’t get thus anywhere else in London. Also the staff are so thoughtful. I was locked out of my room, so when I reported this, the reception staff gave me a free drink at the bar and then got maintenance to fix my door. 2. The location, right next door to Tower of London, probably the best hotel location in London. 3. The cleanest hotel I have seen in London with fabulous amenities.

Nothing, only small suggestion is to have an additional coffee machine for breakfast, the line if people waiting was quite big.

Very clean and modern room, the bed was extremely comfortable.

The room was extremely small and not enough room to put your suitcases. And there was no kettle in the room! Imagine a room without a kettle in London!

They have a huge selection of items at the breakfast area the staff are very helpful. The location is good and it is super easy to get around to see the sights...! The rooms are compact, but have the essentials... The room facilities are controlled by a tablet, which was super awesome!

The hotel has a viewing area/ bar on the top floor, which has some great views, it is always packed with people in the evenings...

The location was absolutely perfect. Magnificent view of The Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The room was very comfortable. Loved the iPad controls. The 7th floor bar was great as was the buffet breakfast…plenty of choice and the coffee was good too! The staff were all friendly and most helpful. Would 100% recommend and would stay again

We are getting on in years and not being able to walk round the bed was a little difficult for one of us in the middle of the night, but nothing that would stop me from booking again

The communal areas are great, really modern cafe and lounge space. Fantastic location right by the Tower of London and Tower Hill tube. My room had a great view of the shard. I enjoyed the daytime and nighttime blinds and the colour changing night light!

Clearly very very expensive for what you get but that’s just the City during the week at the moment. The room itself was nowhere near as nice as the lobby - quite sparse and showing its age. Dirty grout and water stains on some of the furniture. Nothing awful but you do expect more for the price.

No glasses/cups in the room. You could add to the room ironing possibilities, it's so essential when work travel

Perfect location, very good price for central London. Spotlessly clean. Room offered complete blackout and no outside noise at all which meant a great nights sleep, in the huge and really comfortable bed. Highly recommend.

Would have liked a kettle in the room, but the downstairs cafe facilities made up for that.

That I didn’t discover this hotel before

The beds are super comfy, and the room can be made totally dark, and there is hardly any noise from inside or outside. The shower is powerful. There are enough towels and a good range of products. Staff is super friendly and nice food and drinks are available in the lobby. There is a small fridge in the room. I was able to select a room with Tower views without booking this in advance. The location is perfect. I like the vibe of the hotel.

- No glass or cup available in the room, when I was ready for bed, I had to dress again to pick one up downstairs. - No facilities for hot drinks in the room and coffee and teas need to be paid for. Comparable priced hotels in the area do offer this. - The 'No cleaning option' was set on the Ipad, and when I discovered it in the morning, it didn't allow me to change it. I also recall a free drink was offered in the past if the 'no cleaning' option was chosen. - I missed the little cute writing book and pen

Stylish modern look with very friendly staff. Great value breakfast options with excellent fresh coffee included. The rooftop bar was a great additional feature with views over the Tower of London.

Pillows and duvet were all feather filled, and as an asthma sufferer no alternative available, which resulted in wrapping pillows in towels to suppress the feather particles in the air. This was very difficult and caused some serious sleep loss, especially as food allergies are well catered for. Basement toilets gents. Unable to lock cubicle doors x

Everything was great (aside from my lack of accessible sunlight).

I was given an inside room. It was impossible to feel comfortable opening the curtains with so many windows soooo close by. Live and learn I guess.

It's easy to get to from the tube, and the breakfast is awesome, but they don't have tea or coffee in room

Nice comfy rooms, small, but big enough for a king size bed, with great facilities.

My only frustration with this hotel is that for two adults and a child I have to book two rooms!

Perfect location, trendy interior, comfortable room with a great view, and a good breakfast. All of the staff were excellent.

Lovely hotel, with big beds and a nice view. Everything we needed in a good location for a fair price.

The shower kept flooding around the toilet, so everytime we used the toilet we was in a pool of water.

I thought the set up of the room was really good. It's a small room but it's really well laid down. I particularly like being able to control the television from the iPad at the side of the bed. Also I love the fact that you can change the colour of the lighting and the brightness using the iPad. Also the window blinds can be controlled from the iPad which I thought was great. Why do all the hotels struggle so much with technology when you can see here that it's really easy to get right. Everything in the room is in the right place

The bathroom area was a little bit tired and could be a bit cleaner but it was fine. No the problems in the room as far as I'm concerned. All of the staff that I engaged with during the stay were really good. Very personable, confident and full of character. I really like the buzz that you get in the lobby area and I thought the breakfast was really good.

Very handy for underground train station. And really close to where I was working.

Nice view, great location for Tower of London and two tube stations, although shut as strike on. Easy access to Thames for boat trips, uber boats etc. and very reasonably priced. Property was clean, friendly, comfortable, and liked the tablet for room control, heating, lighting, blinds, tv etc. Easy check-in and out using app. Nice effective shower.

Rooms were a little small and had to clamber over bed to get in. I paid a lot more than usually offered on line but wanted location for a function nearby. Was offered a breakfast due to high price paid which was nice. No non-dairy butter/marg available for breakfast.

Great location with the tube station under the building, in zone 1. The views from the top floor are amazing. The decoration is fashionable. The breakfast is very healthy and tasty.

The room wasn't always properly cleaned with dust in the floor and in the window even when we asked for a deep clean. The bed wasn't suitable for 2 people because you need to jump over the other to get out of bed.

I have stayed in a couple of citizen M now and once you know it is compact, and for me, fine for short trips, then it is perfect. Rooms are comfortable, clean and location is great in this one near Tower of London. Most staff very friendly and helpful. The downstairs offers lots of spaces to work or relax. Good nights sleep too with the blackout blinds!

Got stuck in one of the lifts a couple of times despite a working key card and given there were only three lifts, one working on “priority” service only and one that was acting up, it was roulette each time if your lift journey would take 2 or 15 mins! As long as you weren’t in a rush, like trying to get out to your friends wedding… all good 🤣 Price for the size of room is somewhat higher in comparison to others in same area.

We 1st experienced Citizen M in Paris & having now stayed in the London Bridge one, we will always now look for Citizen m in every city.
