Bed & Breakfast Le Consulat, Lisbon

Lovely hotel. It was located in the hub of Lisbon. Very bust ,tourist palza. Still great location to walk everywhere.

Our stay at the Le Consult in Lisbon was all we could have hoped for. The facilities and staff were great, exceptional accommodation and great staff. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in Lisbon.

Charming room in a beautiful small hotel. Location is exceptional, in the heart of the old city. It is walking distance from just about every major attractions and in bonus you get the mythic Tramway 28 starting its course right in front of the hotel.

Location was perfect. Tram stop outside the door. Close to many great restaurants within 5 mins of walking. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel. The Unit was large (no.31) and felt like a home. The unit was well fitted out, except we would prefer having a kettle in our unit. It was simple to ask for though.

We didn’t like the fact that our unit couldn’t have twin beds in one of the rooms. One adult had to sleep on the sofa. I was actually expecting a sofa bed as such.

The rooms were great , remodeled historic site the foyer and other facilities like bar and breakfast areas were spartan and passable . Staff was great, and location was perfect.

The foyer / registration area was very depress and small almost like someone's home.

The staff was attentive and helpful. My room looked out at the plaza - beautiful. One of my favorite places to stay. The bar is extremely nice - a hidden gem. And the location is perfect for a stay in lisboa.

The large rooms and location

Our stay was perfect: great location, amazing hotel, very comfortable rooms, spacious apartment, helpful staff… all was great. If you are into customized trip, they offer various services (eg trip to Sintra, Óbidos and elsewhere). They also have a resto-bar, where they serve good pizza, drinks and breakfast in the morning. A nice plus. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and they added an extra bed for our 3rd daughter, and the bedroom was big enough to fit them all in!

The apartment was a lot bigger than expected…very spacious, beautiful and had very high ceilings. Also loved the bar area in the first floor that I didn’t realize was there. The staff was extremely accommodating and gave us recommendations and help when asked. Really went above and beyond.

Kitchenette was very basic, which I understand, but we were 5 people with 3 plates, so a few more would have helped

The location was awesome. We walked to many restaurants and did site seeing by walking and by tuk-tuk and loved it! All around, Lisbon and your hotel were great. We enjoyed the delicious coffees and breakfast in your hotel. We also traveled by car to Tomar and Porto. We loved Portugal and will definitely be returning!!

The hotel was lovely. Friendly staff, great location and very large, well appointed rooms. We didn’t have breakfast because there were lovely cafes all around the square. The square was quite noisy but only if the windows were open and we wanted to use the air conditioning so left them closed anyway. With the windows closed, it was lovely and quiet. We were a large group who had a mixture of classic rooms, suites and an apartment - they were all huge and beautifully decorated.

Not always anyone on reception

The staff was terrific. The manager that came on later in the day was one of the best I have ever dealt with. He had exceptional people skills. The others were also really very good, and very accomidating, which in your industry is becoming more rare, that is,... when everyone is exceptional. Breakfast was very good. Accomidations were above expectation, and location was ideal.

We were not used to the level of activity and noise late at night, so needed to use the A C, due to needing to keep the windows closed. Certainly not the Hotels' fault. You ask,... and we happily suffered thru that very minor issue.

Location was convenient and our room size was huge and had 3 balconies overlooking popular square

The restaurant/bar had poor service and front desk was friendly but not helpful. They had my wife and I move our bags and back backs while we ate breakfast 20yds away. We came back from breakfast 10 minutes later and the front attendant was asleep (very lazy guy).

Wonderful place, very helpful staff, large spacious room, quite lounge and restaurant with a character. Lift access to all floors. Walking distances to the many restaurants, significant locations and centre, while sightseeing tramp, tuks can be got across the road. Walking distance to the metro and ample public transportation options.

We had a great view of the plaza out front with two sets of big french doors that opened. Very lively all night but well worth a small bit of noise for the view and people watching. Buskers provided nice (soft!) guitar music that added to the ambiance. My husband is a very light sleeper and we found that noise was not a problem at all with the french doors closed. Adjacent to Bario Alto and Chiado. I should also mention that we were there during the feast of San Antonio so the room rates all over Lisbon were unusually high.

Just a warning that the walking in this area of Lisbon can be very difficult. Lots of hills and very narrow pitched sidewalks with constant tripping hazards. But that's Lisbon. If you are elderly, out of shape or have any mobility problems at all be sure to stay in the flat Baxia area.

Very good looking and well furnished room with a lot of thoughtful features (such as old fashioned Bluetooth radio) and comfy bed. Superb location

Location was great! We rented the 2 bedrooms apartment and it was amazing! The AC unit in my room didn't work, and it was leaking, but they bring in a portable unit, which works more like a fan.

The breakfast was not the best, few selections, and you have to order off the menu. We had just coffee, juice, yogurts and croissants. There was no pool or gym at the resort. Other than that, everything else was great! 1

Room was really beautiful, amazing view, very well appointed and spotlessly clean.

Location, location, location. When we choose hotels, location is very important, and LeConsult was very good. Great place to walk all the old town, and also board the #28 trolley. Staff was very helpful identifying simple-meal, nearby restaurants. The room was very good - outstanding bed - far better than the plain, outside appearance of the building.

I wish there had been a second chair! Certainly the room was big enough room for one. Staff was pretty knowledgeable -- but could perhaps be more so (e.g. they didn't know the current fare of the street car and didn't suggest we get a pass that would've made the trips cheaper). The location can be noisy (mediocre - at best musicians camped in square outside) -- luckily there are shutters to block out much of street noise.

The location the staff the apartments are five star quality we stayed here as a hen party weekend and we couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay.

We loved everything!

Marcia at reception went over and above to help with everything... restaurant recommendations were superb! Communication was superb! I felt so comfortable and at home... it was relaxing and fun at the same time.

My room faced the square. It was a magnificent view. I discovered that Lisbon's nightlife was very active, even at 4 AM. But closing the balcony shutters and door solved the problem. The full moon view was incredible!
