El Golf Hotel Boutique, Lima

Staff were friendly, AC worked well, there was hot water, the internet was fine, and apparently there is breakfast but I sleep late. Great location.

The room is not well maintained. Cracks in the walls, chips in the desk and walls, stains on the floors (that could be cleaned easily), spiders on the walls, bathtub cover didn't fit so couldn't take bathtub, and a woman's hair in the bathroom.

Also no elevators.

The pool and courtyard were small but I would have gladly used them but for the overcast day. The ambiance was wonderful. Staff and room beautiful. Foyer welcoming. Breakfast delicious buffet.

During the brief time we were there I'd hoped to get rested up before heading back home to the snowy north unfortunately we had bad timing and the beautiful manor had workman jackhammering and pounding below us us from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm. So my sleep in and nap were non-existant.

24 hr reception, location, nothing else.

Value for money, general state of rooms and common areas. In need of refurbishing.

My room was simple yet very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and tasty. The hotel's main living room, small restaurant, and patio with a pool are all inviting and pleasant. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request.

When I arrived the toilet were dirty.
The room was very small for the price.

Clean and well decorated ; great service!!! They understood and helped with everything I needed; liked the water bottles, it was good after a long flight.

The place is great. As a solo traveler I felt safe and easy there. The bed was huge and very comfortable (not super soft but proper hardness level).
The most important is the staff, all are very welcome and nice literally everyone who works at the reception are always there for you and so open to accommodate your needs.
All would speak English! For Peru it is something special!
Also they were so flexible for me with all my demands.
They prepared breakfast for me at 5:45 am do just 1 person, then it was possible to check out a little later and they were so kind about it.
That place felt home like and I really had rest there after all non stop traveling.
Internet was good enough maybe could be better for work calls but I managed just okay.
Also it is a very quiet area with supermarket nearby and laundry next door.
20 mins walking to the sea side.
I preferred this calm and peaceful area.
Also the reception is beautiful and it is pleasure just to stay there for a bit.
I appreciate for how good I felt in this hotel due its vibe and the most importantly the personnel.

Also breakfast was super nice since there is selection of fruit and also they change the menu every morning.

I recommend it to couples and to solo travelers.

Also they provide nice shampoo paraben free and with agar oil that feels nice on a long hair.

Maybe shower head could be replaced for the newer one and a complementary bottle of water in the room on the arrival but it is just as a suggestion a very nice lady at the reception can refill you own bottle if you have one

The night shift dude employee was incredibly rude. They gave me a room next to the reception and when i complained about their squaky chair in reception the employee told me I was too sensitive to noise and I should've mentioned that in my reservation. Im not too sensitive the noise was coming even through my ear plugs.

Location was good near my work commitment. The beach is nearby as are some cafes but this is a residential area.

I had a cheap rate and the room was fine. If I wanted a view I’d pay more. The yoghurt at breakfast is not as good as other food items.

My wife and I have been stayed at El Golf Hotel a number of times over the past few years. We like the fact that the halls are carpeted, which can make it quieter. The women at the front desk have been very helpful in arranging taxis for us to places in Lima and the airport. We have tipped them as a result.

El Golf Hotel Boutique didn't respond satisfactorily to our complaints: There was an all-night sex party in the room immediately below ours that ruined our sleep and traumatized us one night during our last stay at the hotel. Just think about hearing vividly audible gasps of sexual pouding and climax -- because that's what it was. Another night there was an all-night party next door and the overnight manager only moved us to another room after testing the noise decibels in our room. He should have moved us right away.

It felt like you were staying in a home, so it felt much more cozy and relaxing than your typical hotel. The staff was very attentive and eager to help you feel comfortable and at ease. The area where they serve breakfast was lovely and inviting.

After a long trip around South America, we booked El Golf Hotel to spend our final 2 nights in Lima. It was very affordable, and exceeded our expectations. The staff were some of the most helpful and friendly people I've ever met - Maria Pia in particular, made sure that our stay was comfortable, and went above and beyond whenever we had any questions. The chefs were also very attentive and friendly (plus made an excellent Pisco sour). The room was really spacious and clean, the bed was so comfortable. The pool area was being decorated at the time but we were still able to use it, and it was a nice relaxing spot to spend the afternoon. We didn't have breakfast, but we did have a sandwich for lunch which was tasty. The area is nice and we felt safe - it was an enjoyable walk to other parts of town.

The staff were so kind and welcoming. We arrived very early in the morning and allowed us to check into our room early. Bed was very comfortable and room was spacious and clean.

A gem of a hotel in San Isidro. This is a wonderful small hotel. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The common areas are elegant and striking. The staff was incredibly helpful with everything I needed. It is closer to the airport than Mira Flores and is a great place to stay after arriving in Lima, or to be closer to the Larco museum. It was highly affordable for such a nice place. I prefer a hotel with charm and character over many of the cookie-cutter options. I look forward to staying here again!

Great value for money, beautiful decor, comfortable room and lovely quiet pool. Staff were really lovely and accommodating and let us check out a bit later to enjoy the pool on our final day in Lima. 20 mins wall away are great restaurants and bars and the general area felt very safe with security guards around the streets and various properties. The best place we stayed in Peru!

Location is just perfect for me, Breakfast good enough, Room was very clean and comfortable.
Resturant very handy I come back from my tour at 10 pm, they still servicing dinner for me, they can say NO but just very helpful. I feel like stay at my own place.

El Golf Hotel – Room 122
I’m so happy I chose El Golf hotel to start and then to finish my 2 week trip at high altitude.
To be able to relax at sea level before and after, and to enjoy the lovely little swimming pool and quiet neighbourhood, was perfect for me. The staff were wonderful too, courteous and punctual, and helpful with my questions. And when I couldn’t find a restaurant in the area,
I was able to order from a wide menu in the hotel. Lovely broad breakfast too. Thank you so much. PS: I was concerned that I would be surrounded by golf-playing guests (I don’t play!). But all the other guests were quiet and polite too.

One downside was mediocre cooked meals. Breakfast fine, but standard of meals not so good. Not terrible, just less than the hotel quality would suggest
