Hotel Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur

The location and service were top notch

Not a big issue but there were no signage to go to the “adult” pool. We only knew about the other pool after watching a YouTube video on Ritz Carlton pool amenities.

Everything about the property was great. We stayed in the 3-bedroom apartment. It’s huge, clean and wel equipped. Check in at reception Since we arrived early morning, we requested an early check in before the stay through email. This was possible upon availability. When we arrived at 10.00 am in the hotel, we were received by the friendly staff and the appartement was ready and we could go in. Location The location is convenient and central, the pavilion mall and Fahrenheit mall are within 5 min walk. There are many restaurants and shops in the area. Food street is nearby and good clean massage places are all within 10 min walking distance. Breakfast The breakfast buffet is really good and elaborate. A lot of variety and fresh juices pre-packed in glass bottles, so easy to take with if you cannot finish. The service from the staff is really good at the breakfast. Staff The staff is amazingly friendly and very accommodating. Since it was my friend’s bachelorette trip, we decorated the room. The staff helped us decorating, gave a complimentary cake and card. Every evening housekeeping stopped by for a second cleaning service and to check if we needed something else. Housekeeping even folded clothes (which were left in the bed) and made sure the rooms were very tidy. Whenever we would return from the markets and shopping places, staff would take over our heavy bags and deliver it to our room. Thank you for the lovely experience and making our stay wonderful.

The properly was great. Amazing. Perfect size for a family of 6. It was spacious and in a great location.

The only downfall of this property is the lack of utensils in the kitchen. There wasn’t any saucepans or anything to cook with, but other than that it was amazing we didn’t cook anyway.

Excellant room and hotel!

True sense of luxury with large and very well appointed rooms, very attentive and engaged staff and an excellent breakfast each morning.

Only minor complaint is that the pool facilitates close at 7pm - would be nice to stay open later to enjoy them at night!

Lovely stay! Superb location, friendly staff and serve a wide array of breakfast spread. Room and bathroom was absolutely stunning and facilities like heated jacuzzi, sauna , steam room , swimming pool and gym is much appreciated.

On arrival we were greeted by staff opening the hotel door and taking our luggage into reception. There we were given a seat and almost immediately a member of staff from the Executive Lounge came to offer us a drink (it was at the start of the evening cocktails etc). That set the tone for our stay. The staff throughout the hotel were outstanding. Particular mention to May T, Cadence and Bahar Uddin in the Executive Lounge and Vadivelu at the front of house (apologies for any spelling mistakes). Housekeeping were superb, making sure the room was always refreshed and clean (sorry we didn’t actually get anyone’s name). Beautiful hotel with outstanding staff. Throughly recommend the Executive Lounge. The food is fantastic and way more than just canapés.

Fantastic staff and a brilliant upgrade to 2 bedroom apartment . The concierge staff especially Masood couldn’t do enough for us , so so helpful .

My stay at this hotel was excellent. The value for money was great, the location was convenient, close to the mall, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The cleanliness and services provided were up to the mark. I highly recommend this hotel for families

Everything is incredible !!

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Shower was hot and good and enjoyed the breakfast and dinner that came with the room. Aircond was cold and shower was hot. Staff were very polite and helpful and loved it when they addressed me by my name. Liked the complimentary cakes which was very delicious. The wifi in the room was a bit slow, hope that it will be improved on in the future.

-Very Near to Bukit Bintang City Center.A lot of shops and stores. SUPERB Location. -Staff are so courteous and very hospitable. -Good and comfortable room

-The water in the bathroom is color yellow and is rusty. -Our room is at the end of the corridor,The AC there is not as cold as what we expected. -Also, the Wifi has a spot that cannot reach you like the bed area.

We had an apartment that was very big and comfortable. The hotel had a great breakfast and we went to the chinese restaurant in the hotel and had a fabulous meal.

Bathtub: The water came out yellowish; not sure if this is a special thing or if there is something wrong with the water Swimming Pool Cleaners: There were 2 who spent a long time sweeping / mopping / cleaning the pool while we were there but don't see that much of dirt Swimming pool tiles: Too slippery when wet Customer service online: I have sent 3 messages prior to check in and none of it were replied so it was disappointing

It has a jacuzzi and steamroom and sauna. Food was great and service was really good.

There were broken tiles in the jacuzzi that need some maintenance.

Close to major shopping mall

First room was a free upgrade for. Booking com however it’s blocked view. My husband is claustrophobic so we end up changing to different room which is smaller though . Breakfast was mediocre wish it had more varieties and wish they have change of menu daily . We end up eating breakfast outside cus we too sick of the same menu.

The bathroom lareg towels were very ordinary and below standard for this hotel

Loved the hotel, rooms, food, and staff

We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite, and the rooms were very large and comfortable, location was good. It was very close to Pavillion one of the largest shopping malls.

We requested a non- smoking room, but the first room given had an unpleasant smell of smoke throughout which triggered an asthma attack from one of my children. Luckily they swapped us to another room, but unfortunately , one of the bedrooms still had a mild whiff of smoke.

Everything was great- room very nice, firm bed, bath salts, shoe cleaning, butler service and staff customer centricity - especially freshly made apple and ginger juice at breakfast

Nothing we didn’t like

The staff were all very friendly and go out of their way to help you. We had a 3 bedder suite and it was spacious for our family with young kids. It’s an easy walk to the pavilion shopping centre and also KLCC and beryjaya.

Our rooms were little dated.

Everything about this hotel is wow. Location , rooms , breakfast and the pool area is out of this world. Very tropical.

Room size was BIG and comfortable. Our stay was exceptional.

Absolutely loved our stay! The hotel is beautiful, in a fantastic location connected to the mall(the pavilion) and close to everything. The breakfast was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special, even decorating our room and serving dessert every night. Truly a memorable experience!

The swimming pools. Great breakfast buffet

We stayed 2 nights in a standard room then moved to a 3 bed apart when our kids joined us. The apartment was a stand out. So much room, 3 full bathrooms plus extra shower and 2 extra toilets. The std room and apartment were comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The location was also great in close proximity to Pavilion shopping centre and lots of other restaurants.

Nothing really. Only minor feedback related to a Wheelchair we borrowed for our father in law. It was very old and the rubber wheels came off on multiple occasions. Fortunately this did not result in any incidents.

Room is spacious, comfortable bed, complete facilities, friendly staff, clean room, good location. All good.

I had trouble of getting a simple invoice because I paid via booking and all staff was getting rid of responsibility of issuing me an invoice. I had to do 8 calls between booking.com customer service and the management of the hotel in order to get a simple invoice. I guess I am not the only one booking their hotel via booking Also, the hotel looks very nice, but I am wondering how they could put slippery pavers all around, so only by walking you can easily fall down, which happened to me. I mean, Malaysia has rainy seasons, so the hotel should consider making smarter architecture decisions.

- spacious and comfortable - clean - many toilets and bathrooms. so there isn't a rush for family members to use the bathrooms.
