Clean friendly and very helpful staff the location was perfect for our visit to te Christmas market.

Beautiful hotel which could not be more conveniently situated for the historic centre. Rooms were spacious and clean with a good size bathroom and lovely shower. Very nice Aqua da Palma toiletries. Very friendly staff. We used the pool which was lovely and relaxing, especially because we were the only people in there.

The duvet only reached the edge of the bed which meant we were constantly uncovering each other. They provided another small one when we asked but I found it odd the one provided wasn’t an appropriate size. The lighting in the room was a bit too subtle even when everything was switched on. The bed and armchairs were exceptionally low

It needs tea/coffee facilities in the rooms… for a 5star hotel it should be provided. I did receive a kettle and coffee on request but it should have it as standard

The location of the hotel is perfect, 1min walking from the main square. Very nice hotel, in line with the pictures. The room was spacious and the bathroom was functional (though a bit small). Free bottled water everyday. The spa facilities are great and complete, with two pools, one steam room, one sauna and one relaxation room. The gym looked good as well.

The absence of night stands in the room (one high furniture on one side and none on the other). The pillows were a bit thin and the bed a bit small. No coffee machine in the room. No smart TV (e.g. access to streaming apps)

Rooms are beautiful, the spa is absolutely amazing and the location was absolutely perfect.

Breakfast was amazing but quite expensive, and the same price if you ordered from the A La carte menu or just stuck to the buffet. The quality of both was second to none though.

The location is so convenient, steps away from the old town square and it’s still quiet inside the room. The hotel blends well the modern decorations with the old building structure and materials. The bathroom is spacious. The swimming pool and the spa is perfect spot to relax after the stroll around the town.

The location couldn't be better. The hotel is beautiful, from the reception to the rooms, in person it looks even more amazing than the pictures. The staff is very kind and helpful too.

Staff were friendly. Bags taken to our room and amenities were explained to us. Stocked mini bar and price list. Automatic boot shiner at the entrance of the hotel was something I have never seen before and was very welcome. Pool was beautiful and quiet and all together just a lovely experience. If I'm in Krakow again I will return to this hotel.

The Hotel was housed in a characteristic old building block just off the main square. A perfect location for exploring Krakow. The hotel was a beautiful mix of contemporary and old features . The rooms were spacious and well maintained with gorgeous wooden furniture. It had Spa facilities with a lovely atmospheric pool and sauna available Calm and efficient vibe, staff were super helpful.

Didn’t have hotel breakfast but it looked good. Hotel is beautiful. Staff helpful. Restaurant food delicious. Pool is very cool (not lap length but still wonderful).

The staff who were warm and helpful, the style, the central old town location, the spa. All were calm, relaxing, perfect.

This was my second visit to Hotel Stary and I chose it because of the exceptional experience that we had on our first visit in 2022. Our accompanying family member actually told us that Krakow was his absolute favourite city in Poland, in part, because of our stay at your beautiful hotel. I really love the basement candlelit swimming pool and spa. The rooms are beautiful. The design of the hotel is stunning as well. I would definitely choose this hotel if I could afford it, as my go-to place to stay in Krakow. The rooftop vistas from the hotel bar and seating areas are spectacular as well.

I felt since our first visit in 2022, that some things were being neglected. For example, our first visit there was a nightly turn down service and chocolates were left on the bed. It seemed this is no longer happening. Also, when we visited the spa area on our first visit, we were offered an incredible selection of "essential oils" for the sauna. It was really an amazing experience and I was looking forward to it, but also this didn't seem to be available any longer either. The spa reception was only briefly staffed and there was just a sign in book. Also, I chose to repeat our visit because of the absolutely beautiful pool. Unfortunately, the swim jet system which provides a powerful current to swim against in the main pool was broken and I was told they were waiting for repairs. I understand that this was something the hotel could not control, but a sign stating the days that the jet was broken for and expected use again would have been helpful, instead of leaving guests wondering. The hotel staff were kind and courteous ~ for a hotel of this caliber it is important to anticipate guests needs, be welcoming and greet guests when they enter and exit, remembering people, etc.

It is a comfortable hotel, well run with attentive staff. It is in a good location, close to the city centre.

I had a room in the annex on the first floor which had very limited natural light as it was in a central well over shadowed by other rooms. The room lights were very stylish but inadequate. I paid the same price for my room as people with rooms in the older part of the hotel which were far more comfortable.

Excellent location and stunning room

The location was amazing. Right by the main square. The room was really luxurious with dark wood and red decor. The bathroom was lovely with a deep bath tub and underfloor heating. Was a lovely place for a luxury stay.

The doors on rooms heavy and slam. Could softeners be put on them to reduce the noise in the hotel.

A really beautiful hotel in the middle of Krakow

They lost our luggage for about an hour and half. However, we were given a complimentary meal with wine which really helped relieve the stress of our missing suitcase!

The location was great. Lovely pool. Good breakfast, particularly liked the chef menu. Good restaurant.

Bed not that comfortable: mattress not firm enough, only one pillow, duvet too light. Only one armchair in one of the rooms. Bathroom didn’t have adequate lighting over the mirror. Mediocre coffee.

Possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Just incredible. Amazing. Beds are so comfy, rooms lovely, restaurant amazing, staff fantastic. Winner.

That I had to leave. Not their decision, all mine, but I didn't want to go.

Loved this property .

The hotel was in a wonderful location for getting around Krakow. The salt cave helped with the jet leg and the pool and spa were great as well. All of the staff were very nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!

Very fancy hotel in a very convenient location. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was huge, nicely appointed. The hotel also had a sauna, etc., which I did not use. I don't go to tourist locations to stay inside a hotel. But it was all available.
