Great localisation in the city center, very clean, good breakfast, and friendly staff.

In the old town, but hidden from the crowds down an old side street, this place has the prefect balance of accessibility and tranquility. The building is old and Hogwartsy enough to charm, the staff are very friendly and I loved that the bar was just a little library downstairs. I had been backpacking around Europe and had been sleeping on boats and trains for a few days. To arrive in this charming little place and be able to shower and sit with a beer on a leather chair in front of a fire, surrounded by books was exactly what I needed.

Excellent buffet breakfast , loads of choice and always topped up with, rooms were lovely and a bonus a bar in the library area. Staff very attentive, used Adam the taxi driver from hotel for trips and airport pick up. Location is excellent , 10 minute walk into market square and other areas , castle about 20 minutes all walkable . Bars and restaurants all nearby the vodka bar and a polish restaurant. Rooms are older style to fit in with building did not eat in restaurant at night but they do have a few choices on menu.

We have stayed here before, and it remains an excellent hotel in a quiet central location. It's a 3 minute walk to the main square, but it is exceptionally quiet at night as it's away from the bars and restaurants. Room was comfortable with a reasonable sized bathroom. The air conditioning was on, and water was also provided. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The Polish breakfast was excellent.

Shower curtain in the bath. The room was quite small but okay for a short stay. If you are staying longer a bigger room may be worth the extra.

Perfectly situated, very central but in a quiet spot. Rooms, staff and cleanliness excellent. Breakfast buffet really exceptional quality of choices. Roof top terrace. Beyond our expectations!

I booked Hotel Gródek as a surprise trip for my partner after him passing his medical exams and it did not disappoint!! We were kindly upgraded to the presidential suite and received chocolates and wine. It was very touching and a perfect way to celebrate him qualifying as a Dr. The hotel was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful. Location was ideal and walking distance to plenty of great bars and restaurants in the old square. We enjoyed happy hour in the Hotel bar between 6-8pm. The bar is in a library and it was a perfect place to have a cocktail before dinner. I cannot fault our stay we had a wonderful time in Krakow. Thank you Hotel Gródek!

Perfect location, close to everything, beautiful and clean, the hotel is on a quiet no through road, we looked out over trees and green space. The staff in the hotel were amazing, couldn’t do enough for you, very informative and helpful, always friendly and polite. Food was amazing , well prepared and presented with care. We will definitely be back, recommend highly to anyone looking to visit Krakow.

Friendly helpfull staff. Really excellant breakfast with plenty of choice. Had couple evening meals which again were excellant and reasonable price. Loved the homely feel to the bar area, ideally positioned near main sqaure, would stay there again.

Generally very nice comfortable hotel. The staff were very nice & very helpful.

Initially I was put in one of the top floor rooms that overlook the street. This one had the oval window that you can see in some photos. Very nice except that there was no effective cover for the window (blind didn't work at an angle), so not possible to keep light out at night. However the hotel staff happily moved me to 2nd floor room which was great 🙂

Excellent location, quiet cul-de-sac and only a few minutes walk to the main square. Breakfast was sufficient but abit limiting with the hot food. The room and the bed were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we loved the cosiness of the hotel bar/library for either pre meal drinks or for a nightcap.

The only negative thing we would like to mention was the temperature of the room. Even though there was a thermostat on the wall this didnt seem to make any difference . We found the room too hot so some of the time we needed to open the window during the night to cool the room down.

Fantastic location, friendly & helpfull staff. Hotel arranged taxi transfers & Auschwitz trip. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was good, the room was very comfortable & warm, however the Shower was below standard for me as the shower head would not stay pointing over the bath, for me I prefer a walk in shower and not one over a bath as it is hard to get in & out being of older generation. The location of the Hotel was excellent very close to the main square and some fantastic restaurants. Overall our stay was great.

It was in a great location, with very staff nice in a beautifully decorated hotel. The rooms were old-fashioned but not in a drab way - it was very cosy and I felt very comfortable here.

At times, it could get very warm indoors due to the heating - nothing that an open window couldn’t sort, but just a comment.

The location was excellent, very central to restaurants and sights. The staff were incredible and our room very comfortable and clean. Had a meal in the restaurant the first night we arrived and it was very nice. Highly recommend this hotel.

Location was first rate, only a short walk to the main square and easy access to trams and buses. The hotel was very atmospheric and beautifully decorated.

The room was really quite small which we expected . We were on the street side and were woken around 6 am each morning by recycling of bottles.

It was cosy and well-appointed, in a quiet area but only five minutes' walk from the central square. There's a nice small bar/library.

The hotel is cozy with perfect location. Room was clean and staff was extremely nice and helpful.

A few small things. It would be great if the hotel invested in some light blocking curtains or shades. Also, the breakfast could be a bit fancier given the 5* rating.

Beautifully decorated rooms. Each room is unique and the common facilities are delightful. Strongly recommend the breakfast buffet which has choices for everyone and excellent service.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience overall. Here are my thoughts: Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. The quality and selection exceeded my expectations. Location: The location is perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. It made exploring the area convenient and enjoyable. Room: The room was comfortable but a bit on the small side. While it had all the essentials, there was limited space to move around. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its excellent breakfast, ideal location, and cozy, albeit compact, rooms.

One downside was that some of the staff spoke only very basic English. This occasionally made communication a bit challenging, especially when asking for specific information or assistance. It would be helpful if more staff members were fluent in English to make interactions smoother for international guests. Overall, though, the positives of my stay—great breakfast, perfect location, and cozy rooms—outweighed this minor inconvenience.

Hotel has wonderful location that is quiet but yet still very close to the main square. The breakfast room was exceptional with a great variety of food options. The staff were all veryfriendly.
