The Bank Hotel, Istanbul

Amazing location! Walkable to restaurants if you ever leave, or the restaurant there is fantastic! Breakfast was distinct and on entirely other level!

Honestly nothing! The staff handled parking the rental car and everything was smooth and peaceful!!

The staff were attentive, the rooftop bar had an amazing view of the Bosphorus, the restaurant was excellent, turn down service was unexpected.

We didn't include breakfast in our reservation, and the breakfast bar was average and very expensive to pay individually. We're not big breakfast eaters, but paying 20£ for coffee and oatmeal was way over-priced. There was no option for a la carte breakfast.

Slight street noise but to be expected in Istanbul and ear plugs meant I slept very well!

Stunning interior, both the rooms and reception. Often the reception area of a hotel is stunning and the rooms disappointing but this hotel was first class in every aspect. The rooftop bar was spectacular

Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of food. All of the staff were attentive and polite and the rooftop bar is just magnificent. Our room was clean and a nice size.

It’s a beautiful property in a beautiful part of town. Close enough to the action, but far enough from the maddening crowds! The restaurant and the rooftop bar an added bonus. It was our 50th birthday trip and the hotel went above and beyond surprising us with a beautiful cake and gifts when we walked into our room. They made us feel very special.

Fantastic stay at a fantastic hotel. The property itself is excellent and the service matches it. The location is also ideal as a base to explore Istanbul and all it has to offer!

Loved the history of the building, the beautiful interior design, the service, the staff and attention to detail and of course, the location was perfect for everything we wished to experience in Istanbul

Excellent location. Near to Gelata Tower and restaurants. Close to the attractions Blue Mosque etc. Loved it! Good breakfast and great rooftop restaurant. Food was amazing as were the views and bar snacks. Amazing room

The wine in the restaurant is way too expensive. Cheapest £66! They should offer a house wine £20 to £30. The only let down, the food was exceptional

Hotel quite cozy and well located. Design quite nice and rooms were silent. Nice breakfast.

Two things to improve, hooks for towels and bathrobe would be nice in bathroom. Also bathroom doors a bit too noisy to open and close when your partner is asleep.

All elements of our stay were superb! All staff was genuinely nice and helpful and were looking for ways to make our stay comfortable. The building is beautiful and exciting to see how it has been restored for its new purpose as a hotel. If we come to Istanbul again I would definitely choose this same hotel.

Very friendly staff and great location. Beautiful room and nice bar and breakfast. Reception staff very helpful. Also used the spa and had a wonderful massage from Irene. The location was good as easy access by tram to tourist spots but not in the thick of it.

Only thing was the bed was harder than I would have preferred.

1. Location is very good, we walked to Galata tower before breakfast and enjoyed the beautiful view almost for ourselves. The tram, bus and ferry stations are all in walking distance.
2. The more than hundred years old bank building has its flair. It’s nicely renovated into hotel rooms with very high ceiling (our room was on 1st floor).

Breakfast costs 25€, but if you would like to have cappuccino or espresso you have to pay extra money.

Location. Large rooms with towering ceilings. Modern bathrooms. Good airconditioning. The rooftop restaurant is excellent.

They choose to keep the interior very dark.

From the moment we entered the building we were made to feel like a valued guest. The hotel is very elegant but comfortable, with great attention paid to every detail.

Very stylish boutique hotel located in central area - close to major attractions. Rooms were very spacious.

The curtains in the room didn’t fully block out the exterior lights -

Also staff at breakfast could be a little more attentive to guests requests further service. However these are minor things and we throughly enjoy our stay and would recommend to family & friends
