My brief stay at the Pera Palace Hotel was a delightful journey into history. The hotel's prime location near the metro made exploring Istanbul a breeze. Waking up to the stunning views of the Golden Horn was the highlight of my trip.

The Pera Palace Hotel has a charming, historical feel, though the lobby felt a little small for my liking. Also, it's quite a popular spot for newlyweds, so expect to see some wedding photo sessions around, which adds to the hotel's lively atmosphere, though it can get a bit crowded at times.

Quite superb, a luxury hotel.

The location was very good. Close to all the main attractions as well as the Metro station. The room was spacious and a nice small balcony overlooking the sea. The breakfast was very good and service staff were excellent. The hotel is amazing - has a rich history and well looked after.

The shower in the bathroom was enclosed and the shower was part of the bath tub that was also in the same enclosed shower area. Unfortunately when you opened this enclosure, there was a very bad odour of standing water. The hotel needs to add some kind of ventilation in this enclosure to reduce this smell. The hotel is also a very huge tourist attraction and at times the lobby and the stair access to the rooms was very busy.

A unique opportunity to actually live in a museum for a few days. And the staff is really dedicated to making your stay perfect.

A gem of history very well preserved, large room, comfy bed, very good breakfast, great staff. Special thanks to Miss Gazme (hope I remember well) from the breakfast room.

The afternoon tea (extra charge) could be more varied, but other than that nothing really. Thank you!

best hotel in Istanbul! i’ve chosen the hotel for the second time, had unpleasant experience choosing other hotel. Pera Palace is an exquisite pearl in the very heart of Istanbul. rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious. beds are extremely comfortable. staff always nice and helpful. cafes and shops are all around the hotel. if i return to Istanbul, i would stay only in Pera Palace.

staffs are polite and friendly, breakfast is good.

Coffee at room are the very bitter type (Turkish style ?), no milk powders. Central air condition is fine, but has no adjustment in the room. A suggestion that if room has USB plug charging may be good.

bygone era atmosphere and finer touches such as the music etc in the hotel was awesome. the location was good.

1. lack of food choices for vegetarians ( a salad , pizza or one risotto or one pasta !) so we ate pizza which we really wanted some fine dining whilst staying at pera palace. so second night we walked town to find food - when we really wanted to stay in the hotel. 2. disco on Thursday night - so we couldn’t sit in lounge enjoying atmosphere. then party goers were above our room wearing heels and making noise after midnight. 3. spa needs finer management touches. we were not show. where to lock up clothes - so took towels from pool and changed there .. leaving clothes on bench whilst in steam room - which was not nice. and no water available when using steam room. no nice waiting area between treatments - instead stand around with room gown awkwardly. a nice private rest room space would be good -

this hotel managed to keep splendour and ambient through the years. it still keeps spirit of its great history, I definitely recommend if you want to immerse in the atmosphere of Orient express times and secular Istanbul life. No questions to accommodations. Our room was spacious Pier Loti suite with the Halic view. room was in the good condition. love this parisian balconies. comfort big bed. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious but without special restaurant atmosphere. we had a problem with getting a table in the restaurant and bar, as we haven't doubts to get a dinner in the hotel without previous reservations as guests, but were refused in the bar without even attempt to help us with a table. it was not polite but I hope it was connected only with the pre New Year mess and not in the habit. Eventually administrator on the reception kindly helped us with the table in the restaurant and in the bar after dinner, where we could enjoy with piano playing and voice of charming ms Asli Gural.

I was in room 608 looking over the western part of the city. excellent view. Morning brewed coffee was delicious.

The decor and ambience was fantastic. The cure was great too.

The food options. Not enough veg options. Residents staying in the hotel should have been given priority one for Michelin tea but all tables were sold out.

I'd been looking forward to staying at the Pera Palace, and it certainly did not disappoint. The weather was terrible during our stay, but having a gorgeous hotel with plenty to do was very helpful. Staff was very friendly, gave us an umbrella to run to our dinner reservation next door as well! Would definitely stay here again!

For history lovers, there is no better place to stay than Pera Palace. The moment you arrive you feel transported to the golden age of travel and can easily imagine what it would have felt like to be a glamorous traveler preparing for a journey on the Orient Express. The real attraction is the amenities - we loved the pre-dinner cocktails at the bar and a Turkish bath in the spa. The location in Beyoglu is close to countless great dining options.

While the room was both comfortable and pretty, it is probably ready for renovation.

Best heritage hotel in Istanbul, a living legend! It’s part of your Constantinople experience: Le Voyage à Constantinople starts and ends at the Pera Palace!

The jaccusi of the spa has been repaired so many times that it needs a complete reconstruction (and not working fully, the bubbles are only on one side!). I have stayed numerous times at the Pera Palace and I love their jaccusi, a perfect relaxing moment; so it needs to be in working condition!

Pera Palace was truly an interesting experience. The mattress was exceptional, and the softness of those pillows is to die for, wishing to come back just to experience them again and sleep my days away. I would still work a bit on the breakfast selection even if the fig jam was one of my favourites.
