Our communication with the hotel before we arrived was good, they were helpful with any questions we had. The apartment was clean and comfortable, good sized suite. We had a complimentary bottle of water and white wine in the minibar which was nice. We were also gifted a bottle of wine which we appreciated. Whenever we needed the iron and board they brought it up for us. The shower ran well with hot water, decent size bathroom. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful in terms of places of interest worth a visit and how to get there. The apartments are in a good location close to the Galata Tower with lots of places to eat and drink nearby. About a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest tram to get to the old town across the water. Minor issues with toilet not flushing and safe not working were fixed very quickly.

In terms of what didn’t quite work for us was the superior suite we were put in, we would have preferred the superior suite with the window above the sofa which seems brighter than our suite was, our living space was quite dark. The bed was quite hard and the bed cover wasn’t big enough for the size of the bed and the bedding and towels had a bit of a stale odour despite looking clean. We didn’t have anything from the minibar as it was too expensive, and it would have been a better experience if there wasn’t a 2 euros charge to have coffee in the suite, which meant most mornings I had to go down in the lift to reception area to have a complimentary coffee to take up to our suite. We have never had to pay for room tea and coffee every where else we have stayed. They should also stay up to date with the prices to attractions and airport taxi transfers as we were expecting to pay what they advised but this is not the Louis apartments fault but beware of sites like Hagia Sofia where you can expect to pay 25 euros just to enter the mosque and another 25 euros for the museum! We have never paid this much to enter sites and museums anywhere else in the world! They are taking advantage of tourists with these shocking prices, and there’s no price on display at the kiosk at Hagia Sofia. Again not the fault of the apartments but it could be quite noisy at around midnight when it sounded like the refuse collections were going on. We couldn’t sit on the balcony because the table was dirty with bird droppings and it overlooked a multi storey car park and situated near the fire escape.

The location was PERFECT but most of all the staff were amazing. They were soo helpful and genuinely wanting us to have a good time. I’ve never met staff more accommodating!!

My accommodation was perfect! A place very cozy,clean and ... perfect! The view to the Galata Tower was speechless! A very nice experience with a very kind staff! This experience must be repeated! I recommend 💯

Amazing hotel. Professional and caring staff: spent a good hour helping us plan our 7 days in Istanbul (hotel has Lonely Planet and other handy material), made very useful suggestions and then booked three events. Was 24/7 available all the way thru. Location is close to main sites and has good windows - no noise at night which is remarkable for a central spot. Elevator helps. Grocery next door. Apartment has everything we need, more stuff was brought upon request. Will be happy to come again.

From the moment we arrived at the Louis Appartements I knew we’d hit the jackpot with our choice of accommodation in Istanbul. It was amazing. On arrival we were met by the absolutely delightful Oguljemal (my wife absolutely adored her and would have gladly adopted her as our own given the opportunity!!) who sat us down, served us chocolates, Turkish Delight and black tea while providing us with incredible advice, insight, tips and a travel card to make the most of our 4 day stay. Our bags were taken up to our room on the 6th floor - we stayed in the Tower Suite - where a fantastic view of the city and a complimentary bottle of wine awaited us. The air-conditioned room was immaculately clean, well furnished in a modern style and finished off with a super-comfortable, super-king size bed. We didn’t use the small electric hob and microwave which were in the room, but these definitely provide an option - there is also a full range of utensils, glasses, plates etc if you did want to make a meal. There’s a mini- bar, reliable, free wifi and plenty of space. The view from our balcony was off the charts and I hope that our attached photos show that the apartments are right in the heart of the bustling Galata district. A huge range of bars, cafes, shops and restaurants are on the doorstep and it is a 2 min walk to The Tunel station, which will connect you to the wider public transport system. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff (as well as Ogundlia, Tufan the manager was turbo-friendly, helpful and always made time to take tea with us and chat about our plans for the day). All in all, our experience of the service, atmosphere, location and accommodation at the Louis Appartements mean that we now wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Istanbul.

The room was quite large for what I was thinking. It was in great location to restaurants and Galata Tower. The staff is great. Easy to get access to the room. It is close to the bus and tram system. We got the private transfer for 90 euro to and from the airport which made getting the airport much more convenient. Would suggest using that and it was super easy to set up!

Not the hotels fault, but if plan on using the tram. It is up the hill to get back to the hotel so if mobility is a problem for you. Keep that in mind to use the tram. Again hotel is great!

The staff were very helpful. They happily accommodated our early arrival and helped us with what was in the area, restaurant ideas and using the metro. We were upgraded to the superior suite which we loved. Beautiful and roomy. We enjoyed having the kitchenette for relaxed coffee and breakfast in.

The kitchenette had very basic cooking utensils and pans so don’t plan to cook complicated meals.

An excellent hotel located in the heart of Istanbul near the Galata Tower. The rooms feature fresh renovations and are cozy and clean. The staff is exceptionally polite and attentive.

We spent 6 nights at Louis Apartment. The room was a good size, the bathroom was nice, and the shower was great. The room was on the ground floor, so we could hear when someone passed by shouting on the street, but overall, the room is quiet. The staff was very polite and kind. The location is excellent, with good options for restaurants, cafes, and bakeries nearby. I would certainly stay here again.

The prices for services at the hotel (such as water and coffee) were all in euros and very expensive.

The hotel is very clean and recently renovated, so everything is in perfect state. The view is amazing from the top room. The service is top level. The staff members went over and beyond to help me organize a surprise for my fiance. Having visited istanbul and hotels there numerous times I highly advice to choose this place.

Spotlessly clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very fast attending to any requests of question, and staff were willing to go the extra mile of trying to help. The 2nd night of our stay, we also got a pleasant surprise of being upgraded to larger deluxe suite. Superb👍👍

Excellent location near the Galata Tower.  Clean rooms with everything you need.  Very polite and helpful staff who arranged a transport to the airport for us.  I definitely recommend.

The room was beautiful with a gorgeous view! Complimentary wine and snacks, an incredible but quiet location, and very friendly staff made our stay feel very special.

It would have been nice to have had an iron and ironing board in the room.

LOVE love loved this hotel. Fantastic location. Everything about this hotel far exceeded our expectations. The photos and description of the property were accurate but in real life, this place was adorable from the entry lobby to the reception area and the beautiful room. We booked the top level with views of the Galata tower and with a balcony. The room was even more gorgeous than we imagined and the views spectacular. We could not have been happier with this hotel. The staff were fantastic and the ladies we dealt with often were really friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spacious, great air con, great wifi. We did not want to check out. We loved it so much. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This is one of the main reasons why we enjoyed our trip to Istanbul, this Hotel in particular comparing to other bad experiences around the busy areas like Taksim and Galata, this hotel provided calm place no late night bars around, also provide clean, comfortable rooms + a view on Galata tower. However their staff was very helpful from first day, i did a mistake by forgetting to renew my booking and i had to travel out of Istanbul so when i realized they helped me with packing all my staff and shift it to another room and i found that very helpful from them.. comparing to other hotel in Istanbul they just want to kick you out when you finish your stay.. they area is amazing you are just next to Galata tower where amazing Cafes and restaurants are around. i booked in this hotel twice in my trip and i am going to stay there every time i visit Istanbul 100%

Our apartment was clean, well set out and with very good kitchenette facilities. Great location, plenty of restaurants nearby and the tower is just around the corner.

Due to the location, some tour buses were unable to do a door pickup and had to go to another location for pickup. This is no fault of Louis Apartments.

The options for bedding for hot weather were rather limited and could be improved. For example, cotton blankets.

The absolute best location, the staff were the best I have experienced, they treated us to Turkish coffee, Turkish delight and chocolates everyday. We often ended up sitting at reception just chatting and drinking coffee. They booked all our excursions for us and went the extra mile with everything. The rooms were so comfortable and spacious, the mini bar was so well stocked and had delicious treats and a big variety of drinks. This stay was one of the reasons we loved Istanbul so much. This place is truly a gem 💎

My mom and I had the pleasure of staying at Louis Apartments for four nights and we had an amazing experience. The room was really cozy and the apartments are in a great location - just around the corner from the Galata tower and a range of great restaurants. What we appreciated most was the incredible service and hospitality from Tufan and Oguzman. They received us with some delicious Turkish tea, coffee, and sweets. They went above and beyond in making sure that we were comfortable during our stay, and were very responsive and helpful in guiding us on how to navigate through Istanbul and how to avoid common tourist traps. In conclusion, we cannot recommend this place enough!

everything from meeting the manager upon check-in to leaving the room. organized a wonderful birthday party for my wife. the room itself with a balcony and a view of the galata tower is magnificent.

We were on main floor so there was some noise and some smoke when we opened our window.

Great Location. Rooms are large with kitchenette. Staff are excellent.

Another guest chose to ignore the no smoking rule in their room. Smell was evident in stairwell and in my room as well. The staff apologised to me but it was not their fault, just a bad guest.

The staff is so welcoming and nice!! We really felt at home during our stay. We were upgraded and get an excellent room (even though the one we booked looked nice too). The room was very comfortable and clean. We even get a bottle of wine as a gift.The hotel is perfectly located. Perfect place and perfect staff. We ll come back !!!

The location was a block away from the Galata Tower. There was a great vibe in the neighborhood, full of restaurants and bars. The staff were absolutely lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with them. They upgraded me from a junior suite to a deluxe suite, which was very generous. In future I would pay for the deluxe as the junior suite is on the ground floor and the neighborhood is busy and noisy. They have a small but effective elevator.

Just a heads up - this area is on a steep hill and entry/exit could be precarious for the physically impaired. It is also a very busy and noisy neighborhood, so if you are too precious about noise, this is not the place for you. It does quiet down towards about 22h30

- Street views did not correspond to pics (these are from the front appartments / rooms). Our "superior room" pointed to a private parking. - Although room size was decent, it looked much bigger in the pics than in reality. - Hard to adjust and keep water temperature in the shower (sometimes too cold, sometimes too hot). - Wooden floor is a bit noisy, especially noticeable if your upper neighbourgs arrive late in the night.
