The quality of the accomodation was very good but it was the attentiveness and service from all the staff that made this a thoroughly exceptional stay.

The pool area was a little disappointing given the rest of the facilities, but still excellent for lane swimming.

We were recommended this hotel by a friend, I didn't really have an expectation of this but wow, Eric and the team went above and beyond to help us with our stay. Not only were they flexible but they had so many options for things for us to explore and do in our short stay. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a hotel in Hongkong, it was incredible to see all the locals who come to this hotel too, for drinks and food.

Lovely rooms and great staff

Their is no lobby area to sit in and no outside space/pool

The location of the hotel was exactly what we wanted. All aspects of the hotel were excellent and we were treated in a friendly and professional manner by everyone we met. It made the trip very relaxing and enjoyable.

The service friendliness of all personnel

Location was perfect and the architecture/design of the hotel was wonderful. Poppinjays was a great restaurant with exceptional service combined with a splendid vista and terrace.

The heritage

The shower and bathtub location. Not enough hangers or hooks to hang clothes. Whole floor is wet if one takes shower.

Outstanding Hotel in a great location. The staff were fantastic especially Eric who took care of all our needs during our stay. The restaurants in the hotel were excellent and the roof top bar is a very cool place to hang out with all the local businesspeople from surrounding offices and watch the sun set

It is a near perfect hotel, what would be nice especially in summer is an outside pool area as there was only an indoor pool at the hotel which was very nice.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed - clean, stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Fresh fruits every day in the room.

Better gym equipment

In a word - SUPERB. Everything from the staff to the room was perfect. Everyone truly treated you like a guest and a friend. Rooftop bar was fantastic too!

Front desk and room service was marvellous, shout out to Eric and Florence for their impeccable service. We had a free upgrade to a grand room and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Book the rooms with the bathtubs if you can! Also, we love the toiletries from Grown Alchemist. We joined their Historic tour and it was interesting to learn how they revamped the premises. Would be better if they shared some ‘before’ photos as well. I would come to HK again just to stay at The Murray. So far, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

Quiet location but super close to everything.

Room service is pretty expensive so we just chose to eat out all the time.

The location of the hotel was perfect,, very convenient and central and provided lovely Views of Hong Kong. As a long time residents of Hong Kong it was everything we wanted to relive out memories.The staff were friendly and so accommodating

There could have been more restaurants open earlier and the rooftop restaurant could have remained open at night.

Clean, modern and impeccable service. They added a personalized touch to our stay. Shout out to Florence and Eric for making the stay extra special for my kids.

Beautiful clean hotel in an excellent location. Staff were uber helpful and rooms very comfortable. Would very much recommend and stay again. Walking distance to Wan Chai, Central and the underground. Right next to the Victoria Peak tram stop and Hong Kong Park

The pool was a little claustrophobic with no area to sit or lay down and roof top bar service was slow.

Murray Hotel was amazing during my recent stay in Hong Kong. The staff was outstanding, offering attentive and personalized service that made my visit truly memorable. A special mention must go to Aly and Kim, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional hospitality in Hong Kong!

Great rooftop bar

Great location, wonderful staff, very clean and luxurious

I’m wanted two twin beds, an option in the booking reservation and the main reason I picked this hotel, but when we checked in they only had a king option. They gave me a complementary roll away which I appreciated but I would have preferred to know two twins were not available at booking and I would picked a different hotel.

The hotel was very stylish in an understated way. The staff were friendly and efficient. Happy (3) Hours was a great bonus with the complimentary buffet. Very handy for the Peak Tram.

There wasn’t a room service menu that was easily accessible, so we ended up getting deliveroo instead.

We were in a very spacious room overlooking the Hong Kong park. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also right next to the peak tram station, and more local public transportation.

On the edge of Admiralty, a central business hub where things closed down during the weekend, so it can be a little further away from restaurants and other conveniences.

Spacious room, beautiful bathroom, modern decor, location much more convenient than expected. Far superior to many of the other higher end hotels at a similar price point.

Corridor was a tad dark, gym had limited equipment.

Phenomenal hotel. Service and facilities, and breakfast, were perhaps the best I have stayed in. And we have visited a lot of 5 star hotels. Eric the concierge just wonderful. So helpful. Beatrice in club Lounge was so lovely and helpful also. Gym was superb.

Found it difficult to navigate the walkways around HK. Everything is via building lobbies and shopping malls. This was more on HK than the hotel.

It was about the best place I’ve ever stayed in. There was an understated quality to all the offerings at the hotel be it, say, the room, the breakfast, the pool. All were beyond my expectations.

I liked the 24 hour gym and the room was superbly appointed. The view from the room was excellent.

I couldn't order room service. As my custom, I pay for every order whether in a restaurant or in-room dining. In other hotels the service staff brought a card reader with them when they delivered in-room dining items. At the Murray they wanted to talk about this a LOT, which made me feel that they did not know how to make the room service 'service' smooth for a loyal Discovery member...I did not order room service and we went out for breakfast.
