Fantastic location, beautiful room and exceptional staff.

Gym and pool were disappointing.

Excellent location to access Peak Tram, Star Ferry to Kowloon and bus routes to Repulse Bay and Stanley. Staff were excellent, rooms very nicely appointed and buffet/alacarte breakfast was fantastic. Especially enjoyed ability to enjoy a fine evening cigar outside the hotel.

Rooms were a little cold- beautiful aesthetics, but something to soften the room would have made it even more welcoming.

Too far away

An exceptional hotel providing amazing service in all aspects. Friendly and sympathetic front office staff, the housekeeping was beyond fantastic, concierge always helpful with a smile, staff in restaurants and Cassia lounge always attentive and friendly.......all in all an unforgettable stay in a beautiful 5 star hotel!

I thought the staff were excellent and I really liked the location and the layout of my room especially the large windows.

If I were to criticise anything it would be the food. I didn't think the breakfast was very good. The options on the buffet were a bit dull, the fruit wasn't great and what we ordered from the A la carte was a bit disappointing. But everything else was excellent.

Blown away by this hotel. From the staff, to the style to location, everything was exceptional. Breakfast is outstanding.

The concierge service was outstanding in their ability to book our favourites restaurants and even recommend some new ones. Front office was very efficient also. The room was very clean and had generous facilities. The gym was well equipped despite its compact size.

The design and ambience of the hotel is beautiful and the staff made it even more exceptional. Love my stay there and will definitely be the choice of my hotel the next time I visit HK. Poppinjays the rooftop bar has an immaculate view of the CBD area. An iconic building and hotel definitely not just worth a stay but many more to come for me. Thank you all staff of The Murray HK.

Comfortable room with good restaurants

Location is a bit difficult

I liked the entire experience: check-in was smooth and efficient, the stay was utterly comfortable. Amenities and facilities are awesome, this is what a five-star experience feels like. I really appreciated that the hotel staff were friendly without being overly solicitous. The concierge, the front desk were very helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed every aspect of the stay. Breakfast had excellent variety and great taste. Checkout was seamless and quick. Overall, I would return again and again for this kind of service.

Loved the room and breakfast. They knew i was travelling with an infant and without me asking provided the room with baby bath, bottle warmer and bottle steriliser! Was pleasantly surprised. We upgraded our room so that was excellent and the views spectacular. Breakfast was also worth waking up for!

No help in booking guided to tours. When I asked concierge or front desk they just looked blank so I just went to sightsee myself.

The breakfast spread was good, the room service was also exceptional with big portions. The staff was the best, very very courteous and attentive.

The semi buffet breakfast in the Tai Pan is excellent, good selection of mains, both Western and Asian, and nice buffet selection as well.

Pros - cleanliness - modern facilities - location, 5 min walking from the busy Central - soundproofing of the room!! - larger size of room vs. HK standards - impeccable services with useful doormen/concierge - spacious/welcoming lobby - curtain blackout for max sleep comfort - Japanese-style toilet Areas of improvement - value for money of F&B - gym equipment are limited (although in perfect condition!) - 1st grocery/pharma shop in 4min walking distance (if one wants to be pedantic) - bed mattress a bit stiff (for my liking)

Fantastic property located in a very convenient spot in Central. The property itself is beautiful and the staff are very attentive. The daily shuttle bus into town is also a great added extra. I can’t fault how comfortable the rooms were and we were very happy

Cool location, next to the Peak Tram, walkable across Central. Service was outstanding, helpful concierge. Very nice indoor pool. Gym was adequate, not very big. Bed was very comfortable - king size with no discernible seam down the middle, like most hotels. Generous breakfast options.

No really convenient public transportation (but this is a city-wide deficiency).

MURRAY WAS EXCELLENT, A SILENT CLEAN COMFORTABLE AND PLEASANT HOTEL TUCKED AWAY WITH NO COMMOTION IN THE LOCALITY. THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. BREAKFAST WAS LIMITED BUT VERY FRESH AND QUICK.

THE BREAKFAST COULD HAVE HAD A LITTLE MORE OPTIONS FOR VEGANS.

I liked the very personal service upon check-in and room orientation by the front desk, even though I arrived very early. I liked the size of the room (and the heated toilet seat). I liked that the staff remembers the names and faces of their guests, anticipating their needs (like umbrellas for the change in weather), making us feel at home. I would rate this hotel among the very best worldwide.

If I were to knit-pick, the only thing I would change is the artificial plants by the lap pool.

Level of service was unsurpassed at all times, in all departments.

Nothing, really. Location on Cotton Tree Drive was not ideal, but still easily walkable to Central with some initial confusion. Shower design for hanging robes and towels was a bit awkward because garments would get wet or moist if not removed during showers.

Location is perfect. Close to all transport means and central. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was not my type, but that's just a personal matter. So there is nothing I would complain about the hotel.

NO views Outside seating areas have views on the highways... You can hear the ding-ding noise from the elevator (even after they changed my room!) Kind of difficult to access the hotel walking, from public transport Long to find a cab (when it rained)

N1 Room has large space, good showering, and very comfortable bedding.

The drainage of shower is stuck and slow. Should be checked and fixed by the maintenance team.

The hotel design, the rooftop bar, the room design and space was outstanding. Location was also very nice, near the central shopping area and the peak tram.

Bed and pillow. The bed was too soft and the pillow was too soft for my liking. Ask for a firmer pillow but it still too soft
