I loved the minimalistic design of the rooms, location is great and breakfast delicious.

Maybe we were just unlucky, but overall we did not enjoy our 3-night stay as much as we had hoped.

The welcome at check-in was not very informative- the staff did not explain anything about the room, breakfast (location or hours), or the hotel facilities, so we had to figure everything out ourselves. This made the arrival feel a bit impersonal.

The main issue, however, was the noise. Our room was quite loud - the windows were constantly cracking or rattling, which woke us up several times during the night. The sound insulation also seems poor, as you can easily hear people walking or talking in the corridor.

The biggest disturbance came from the room above us, where a guest appeared to be exercising or bouncing a ball. We could hear everything very clearly and eventually had to call guest relations, who came to speak with the guest.

With all of this combined, our stay was unfortunately not very relaxing. We might simply have been unlucky, but based on this experience I would probably choose a different hotel next time.

Spacious room with a beautiful mountain view. Huge bath with wall to wall windows. Gorgeous. Extremely convenient location.

The room is absolutely huge and spectacular. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The gym is out of this world and opened 24h. Room service is fast and actually very well priced too.

Honestly, nothing. Everything was absolutely perfect. Would a massive lobby be nice? Yes but the whole point of Upper House is to sacrifice a bit of common spaces in order to offer big rooms.

The decoration, views, quite room perfect to relax. The bathtub ambient is beautiful, can make the stay memorable.
The restaurant in the rooftop is super chic, the room service options are great.
The gym is small but enough as this is a boutique hotel.
The shower is delicious.

Fabulous room with amazing view. Great view for New Year's Eve fireworks. Professional and lovely staff. Room so spacious and clean. Love the free items in the mini bar. And thank you for the complimentary room spray - I love it!

Rather disappointed the hotel doesn't have REN products in your daily amenities kit anymore as have stayed many times before and enjoyed REN products. There are no vegan options on your room service menu which is extremely disappointing. Chef kindly made me a gluten free tomato based pasta but this was not delicious and it was the only dish on offer.

It was decorated in a modern and pragmatic manner. Very clean, modern, comfortable. Almost every other evening staff leave us with some chocolate, cookies, one day even warm milk. Very close to everything. Location is unbeatable.

It feels that the hotel is getting a bit old. Some rooms would need to be redone/remodeled. These are tiny details but many wooden parts are scratched, stained, cracked… looks live they have lived their best, but it’s time to freshen up a bit now.

This is the only reason why I’m not giving 10.

I was very satisfied with my stay. My flight arrived early so I got to the hotel at 6:00AM. I didn't expect to be able to check in and had planned to leave my luggage and explore the area. I was surprisingly informed that my room was ready, and I got a free upgrade. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a great view, very relaxing. The hotel prepared toiletries, toys, and coloring pens for my toddler and thoughtfully baby-proofed the room.

The only thing I didn't expect was that the crib provided by the hotel wasn't wooden but a playpen. However, I want to clarify that I didn't check with the hotel beforehand to confirm whether they had wooden cribs.

Ranked 1st or 2nd in Hong Kong, a little bit imperfect for staff and cleanliness. TV issue solved but actually shouldn't happen for a hotel at this grade. Some space not well used within the room.

This is probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed with. The staff here will go the extra mile; the room’s design is okay slightly dated but still modern. Will definitely comeback the soonest. The location is good shopping and food is within the complex and is near Admiralty Station. The view of the harbor is the best!

Now I understand it why they are included in the list of the world’s best hotels.

I like the location with Pacific Place mall nearby. Relatively convenient location and with good public transport network.
I like the restaurant on the top floor with stunning view. Staffs were attentive and polite.

The deco is a bit dated and needs more upkeep. The room is too dark at night. Not much facilities in the hotel.
Not enough eateries to invite guest over.
It is hard to get a taxi.

The attention to detail for this hotel is impeccable! The interior design is modern contemporary and gorgeous. It was one of the best check ins I have ever experienced with a personal escort to the room and a tour of all the amenities. The restaurant, bar and library are absolutely fabulous. You are greeted with first name basis . . .it actually feel like home. Highly recommend will definitely return.
