The Caravelle Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City

My stay at Caravelle Hotel Saigon was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm and attentive. A special thank you to Mr. Khang, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, including a wonderful upgrade to a beautiful room. His professionalism and care made all the difference. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and look forward to returning on my next visit.

the reservation. My credit card was hacked just 2 days before my arrival so they could not charge my credit because I stop all the online banking for safety reasons. I asked them if they could hold my reservation or I can make a payment through my friend's account in Vietnam. But they didn't reply anything. At least the should have informed me: YES or NO. I was confused but I still went there for the check-in with the willingness to be refused. However I thought there are plenties of hotels in Hochiminh city so I wouldn't be a problem for me. At the reception I found out that they did answer my request when I was on the plane. I would love to be informed a little sooner so I don't have to be worried about unexpected things which could had happened. Especially when I was with my mom, who I wanted to spoil on my trip. It was just a little thing for reservation department to make things smoother.

Easy and professional check in process, staff are all helpful and friendly, came back to the property twice already and always my first choice when coming to hcmc!

Really special hotel, Accommodation was of a high standard, extremely comfortable bed and the most spectacular bathroom. The front of house staff were all lovely and allowed us to leave our luggage and use the gorgeous spa for showering before our late flight home.

We loved it all.

The location is excellent and the rooms extremely clean and comfortable. The cafes, restaurants and roof top bars are all of a very high standard. The staff are polite, friendly and very professional. We stayed for four nights and would definitely return.

Excellent hotel, the staff are fantastic. Swimming pool is great and very welcome considering the heat in Ho Chi Minh. The breakfast is great with a huge selection to suit all tastes and nationalities.

The hot water was inconsistent, sometimes hot, others times not so, and once in awhile scorching hot.

Very classic and prestigious ambience. Nothing you won’t get here. I’ve spend a wonderful last night in Caravelle Saigon after my 3 weeks trip in Vietnam to replenish and get a good rest before my flight back to Europe. The staff were very friendly and skilled. I could leave my baggage at the reception to enjoy my last hours in Ho chi ming city and took enjoyed the spa area before leaving. Highly recommend this Hotel !

Club lounge was great. Very efficient a staff and nice food. The staff at reception helped us with our luggage across rd to park Hyatt for our tour meeting place which was much appreciated.

The hotel is very well located. The rooms are small vs others in the city but clear and elegant. The pool is a proper pool and one of the best in the city. Great for kids !

I think the breakfast is a bit so so. Mass food , many processed and it’s a dark area a bit crammed.

The rooms were comfy and nicely done, the right size without being too small. The staff were friendly, and you could exchange money at the hotel, which was very convenient. The rooftop bar offered nice views of the city, and its location was perfect for seeing all the main attractions, especially if it was your first visit to Saigon.

Everything! The hotel was located right across the Opera House, and walking distance to many of the tourist attractions. The rooms were newly renovated, the shower room was big and felt luxurious. The beds were too soft for our liking though. We had access to the Executive lounge and that was one of the best/highlights on our hotel stay. The lounge served breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails. The food and drinks selection were very good with a wide variety of dishes such that after cocktails, we would be too full to have dinner. Served real food for cocktails. Breakfast at the lounge was also very good because it was quiet and not crowded. The hotel also had a good gym, sauna and spa. I tried their spa and had a good massage. The staff were nice, friendly and helpful. Upon checking in, we were even escorted to our room by the person who checked us in. A first for me but I’ve read that high end luxury hotels do it this way.

It's a bit pricy but worth it.

The Caravelle is the best 5-star hotel in Saigon. The rooms are luxurious and well maintained by the house keeping staff. They even have a pillow menu so you can get the ultimate sleep. The restaurant is great, and the buffet breakfast is the best in town with an amazing selection of fruits, hot meals, eggs cooked to your liking, Pho and all the items you would expect from a hotel of this class. The staff were friendly and attended to your every whim. The sound proofing of the rooms was amazing. I highly recommend the Caravelle. As for the location you can't beat it. Walking distance to all the attractions.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

1. Location. The location is excellent, right in the centre with walking distance to all attractions. 2. Breakfast. Absolutely fantastic food options. 3. Roof top bar. Great music, great cocktails. 4. The Staff. Very professional, courteous, and friendly. 5. The lobby bar. Beautiful food and drinks menu with a relaxing ambience. 6. Room. I had the Opera facing room. It was opulent and comfortable. The shower is one of the best I've seen in a hotel.

Location is perfect and room was nicely renovated. However the room size is quite small compared to other hotels in HCMC. Buffet breakfast was excellent with good variety.

The size of the room is quite small compared to other hotels in HCMC and not as comfortable for 2 guests. The SPA is opened to local memberships and can be noisy with used towels thrown around and staff were not clearing them timely.

Lounge access was worth the extra money.

The room was great, clean and comfortable. Roof top bar was worth stopping in for a drink. Pool was very welcome and very clean. Location is handy to all of District 1's sights. The Kara Spa was a great experience.
