The Caravelle Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City

Everything was amazing! The room was clean and spacious, the food was super delicious, especially the pastries and desserts, and the service was probably the best I’ve ever experienced at a 5 star hotel. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Overall the atmosphere, service and experience were excellent!

Our stay at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City was excellent. The location couldn’t be better, situated right in the center of the city’s major attractions, like the walking street, post office, shopping and restaurants, etc.

While our stay at the hotel was pleasant, the breakfast buffet was disappointing. The area was too small and overcrowded, making it difficult to navigate. The space felt cramped with the number of guests, and the staff seemed tense, likely due to the high volume of people. Additionally, the buffet lacked variety, especially for vegetarians. A larger space and more diverse options would greatly improve the experience.

We are returning guests which shows that we love Caravelle Hotel. The location is great, within walking distance to shopping centres, markets & special land sights. Food is amazing too.

Staff and bell boy are excellent. Breakfast is better than REX hotel.

Television always no signal. No shavers for men. Forgot to top up my shower gel until I need to call for housekeeping.

Very central hotel facing the Opera theatre. Fancy with all expected facilities, including a casino (not necessary for me) Helpful and available staff, good rooms and nice ambience. Fine.

Excellent location, can walk to everything in District 1. Having access to free drinking water was much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Rooms were soundproofed so it was very quiet.

There’s a very strong sewerage smell throughout the property. This felt out of place in an otherwise luxurious setting. We had requested an early check well in advance but were told to come back at 2pm which was a shame when we arrived at 7am. We thought 12pm would have been reasonable. But we were given access to the showers and bathrooms on the pool level which was a nice touch.

Caravelle never disappoints and had a great stay, again. Great lounge facilities with great breakfast, food, wine and cocktails. Good location and easy to go around from this location.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of Saigon, providing easy access to many attractions and amenities. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The facilities, including the pool and fitness center, are top-notch and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. What I liked: Courteous and attentive staff. Perfect central location. Spacious, elegantly furnished, and clean rooms. Excellent facilities, including a pool and fitness center. Delicious and varied breakfast buffet. I highly recommend Caravelle Saigon to anyone visiting the city and look forward to staying here again in the future.

They stipulated dress standards for visits to club lounge. Husband did not have long pants so we had to go out and buy some. That was a pain as we were tired. I did dress for the lounge only to find other females very casual, so I didn’t quite get the point. Shorts can be very dressy with a nice shirt.

Great location, well looked after by the staff, great views over the city from our very comfortable room on 22nd floor, overall a great pit stop.

Breakfast was a bit of a bunfight but it always is in a big hotel
