The staff were really friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel, is far from main attractions. We got food poisoning and it ruined the whole trip. Unfortunately when we got food poisoning the hotel was the only place we ate at.
Cleanness was fair. House keeping dose not wash the shower and by the end of the trip the shower started smelling. They only changed towels.

Specially thanks to the front desk staff "Cindy".
She explained clearly what I could enjoy in the hotel and nearby the hotel.
And she offered exceptional supports during my stay.

Was unable to arrange a single bed room for me while the twin bed size was small.
Actually, my sleeping quality was really bad. The pillows were too soft. The quilt was too heavy. It affected my choice to pick the same hotel in my next business trip arrangement.

Food in main restaurant extremely poor, the kitchen in the apartments has no cutlery, pans, dishcloths etc., so is perfectly useless, there are no longer menus etc., in the rooms. it is Americanised in the Dumb as Trump fashion.

room was extremely disappointing , no black out curtains, bathroom sliding door slides open itself, bathtub leaked, in room temperature much too cold, temperature control not working so eg. setting at 25 but temp keeps at 22 even if set at 27 or higher, room always at 23/22, cold, cold & uncomfortable all the time, had to keep turning the a/c off to let the temp go up then get out of bed to turn on again, & off & on all the time in order to keep the temp. comfortable. Really really upsetting! Shower water temp not consistant, goes v v hot then back to personal setting , suddenly scalding & have to step away then back again. Was not told the pool/sauna etc. facilities under renovation at time of booking, otherwise would not have booked. Closet not lighted from inside as expected based on all modern hotels, door closer not tightened well so doors slam very loudly. Loud music late into the night from the rooftop nightclub made sleep v difficult on Saturday night. Overall extremely disappointed in the low level JW Marriot management seems to have sunk. Never again! Good sleep & gd shower fundamental to any hotel, both failed here.

Buffet breakfast was very good. The standout was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
The executive lounge was also a pleasant experience .

Unfortunately the pool and gym was shut for renovation. This information would have been good at time of booking. They did offer the pool and gym at the Marriott apartments next door, however the facility isn’t is good.

We arrived at the hotel at 9.50am and they got a room ready for us already! Sang, the staff who checked us in was very friendly, polite and helpful. In fact, all the staff throughout our stay were very efficient, accommodative and helpful. Well done, Marriott Saigon!
We got the room overlooking the city. Unobstructed view and the night view is fantastic. The Notre Dame Cathedral in front of us is lighted beautifully till late. Everything is within our reach: Mall, cafes, places to chillax...we love the hotel's vicinity. Very convenient.

The bathtub water tap is far from the tub itself. We couldn't fill it with water if not from the showerhead.

Location, good service, great breakfast

"Intercontinental" hotels usually exhibit some "old school" standard when it comes to room size and furnishings; here it was no different: a spacious room, with "cathedral view" [under renovation at the moment], a generous desk, a nice bathroom, as well as a comfortable king-size bed, ... just great. Breakfast started early and was outstanding. Staff was friendly in a natural way without being overbearing (perhaps with the exception of bellboys who really want to get their hands on your suitcases). A big surprise was a fantastic birthday cake, somehow connected to my check-in data, no doubt :) ... Overall this was a very enjoyable stay in a convenient location to explore the city in all directions.

Shampoo & shower gel were fixed to the wall, but not anywhere near the bathtub, which then requires some ingenuity by the guest. Incidentally some bath salts and perhaps also a few general bathroom condiments could be a nice low-cost addition to make a stay absolutely perfect.

Everything was fine. But extremely good and helpful was concierge service downstairs, especially one man (sorry, forgot his name).

A bit of noise from the street. Also, there are two hotels with the same name and sometimes I missed the right entrance. After that was not easy to find the right one as navigation signage should be better

Breakfast has different varieties of foods for selection.

The dinner was horrible at Italian restaurant with the same menu every day for 8 days.

Expensive but nice with very comfortable beds and proper duvets etc. Good food.

Expensive compared to other options like Sheridan Residences which offer huge apartments at lower cost.

The hotel staff were really warm and welcoming to my family from the moment we checked in. They made sure we were well looked after during our stay.

The breakfast buffet was great, there was a wide variety of foods from different cuisines. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

We were bit disappointed not being able to enjoy the concerts at the Hard Rock Cafe (no more there) downstairs as we were doing before.

The helpful staff and the very knowledgeable concierge at the hotel. The concierge guided us to the right sightseeing tours and shopping destinations. Overall, the staff at the hotel was very courteous and going the extra mile to help.

We loved Intercontinental Saigon! The ambience, and the food in both the Italian and Chinese restaurants was exceptional! I always rate food, if I will keep it in my memory always, and that was definitely the case with Intercontinental Saigon! Yum Yum! 💗 Just one thing though, the reception staff man who checked us in could have been a lot more pleasant! Thank you!

It was all excellent - just the reception staff point I raised above. I am not being picky, but his bad attitude rated a mention.
