The Westin Hotel, Hamburg

Amazing hotel! Our room was perfect with the most beautiful views! Floor to ceiling windows, bath tub overlooking the city, massive comfortable bed! Hotel staff were all amazing, from concierge to reception to the spa staff! We had the best stay and will definitely be visiting the Westin hotels again! :D Thank you!

An unforgettable view 💙 stunning architecture, very quiet rooms, so you can enjoy the views in absolute silence! Location is perfect for spending a wonderful time in Hamburg! Perfect option for city break.

The room was very spacious and had a great view of the harbour. We especially liked the heated flooring in the bathroom

Although there was kettle and coffee machine there were no tea bags. We didn’t realise that we hadn’t paid for breakfast (we wrongly assumed that it was included in the price) and so had to pay an extra £34 each.

We came to The Westin for our honeymoon, the room was gorgeous and they left us a dessert plate wishing us a happy honeymoon- such a lovely touch. The spa facilities were lovely, we really enjoyed this. Location was top notch, we were right on the harbour and had some lovely walks along the harbour every day

We were too late to book any treatments in the spa, it would have been nice to get a reminder to book in advance, this is our only regret, but gives us an excuse to come back

For a hotel in this class one would expect impeccable service and amenities

Magnificent View!!! Very nice staff. Facilities are very good. Excellent location. The bed is very comfortable. I like the smell of the shampoo, etc.

1. Breakfast is good! But I think it may could be a little bit better. :) 2. I understand that plastic bags are restricted nowadays. But I think it is better for me and the staff, if there are bags for the trash bins. I feel somehow reluctant to put things in the trash bin, since there are no bags...

Just an amazing property- the room was lovely, the view is outstanding. Breakfast was fabulous and the staff couldn’t be nicer !

Since I attended the Elbphilharmonie concert at most of my nights, it was very convenient. The room was spacious. I liked the floor heating at the bathroom. As a hotel guest, I could enjoy exploring the building freely without joining a tour.

The main entrance looked like a shabby back door. My room had a view of only partial sky and windows of neighboring rooms. You cannot keep privacy unless shattering thick curtains. My door was knocked twice when “don’t disturb “ sign was hanging. Once, when I came back to my room to use bathroom, I was told to wait outside for five minutes since the cleaning was not finished. Four times, I requested Earl grey teabags to my room, but they had never supplied one. I wonder why it is so difficult to procure the teabag while there had always been English breakfast and Darjeeling teabags. My stay was without breakfast and I went to the breakfast venue only for one morning , but that was enough. The lady at the entrance was somewhat rude and I had to greet her three times to get her attention. Then, she refused to accept my payment by cash because she didn’t have small changes. However, above all, my biggest surprise was the fact that they charged my credit card twice for a deposit without an explanation, until I noticed and demanded an explanation.

Free easy access to viewing platform. Possible to let car stay for a moment while checking in. I used a cheaper parking lot one block away.

Nothing negative. Maybe a bit more sweet choices like waffles for breakfast. No reason to complain.

Breathtaking views, comfortable beds and pillows, big bath room - swimming pool and very nice fitness room. Perfect location, didn t book breakfast, as it seemed overcrowded between 9-11 am and only 6-9 am recommended which was far too early ! Don t miss a performance in the Elphie entrance direct from the lobby as well to the plaza !

The 2 Queen beds were amazingly comfortable and our room was so awesome. With gorgeous views of the harbor and the peaks of all the stunning buildings. The breakfast was of a superior standard with so many options

Nothing to really complain about this property.

- Very friendly and super polite staff - Impeccable service, super fast and polite - Fantastic facility, very large, spacious and beautiful - Lifts very fast and always working - FANTASTIC rooms, with an incredible view over the city and the sea, very comfortable bed, bathroom, shower, bath, desk, everything perfect and comfortable

Problems to be solved: - The TV in my room was not smart, impossible therefore to watch Netflix or channels in another language than German Small suggestions (nothing serious) - not every day they changed the soap in my shower, and I had to ask for it, they brought it to me in 30 seconds, but I recommend to be more careful - my bed made some small noises, but really very small ones, I recommend checking that too - The bathtub shower head was slightly broken, nothing serious, but I recommend checking it

The view from the room was spectacular. And there was always something to watch. We spend some time just looking out of the vindow.

Shower room was small and and not comfortable for suite. Hotel was overpriced

The location is exceptional, the room was very clean and my upfront request was considered. The breakfast, as other visitors will confirm too, is lavish and nothing beats the view. The sauna and gym were a very welcome addition to the overall experience!

I believe the staff were a bit overwhelmed by the conference happening in the hotel at the same time. :) I understand the comments regarding the size of the pool, but given the location it seems to be the best case scenario.
