The Westin Hotel, Hamburg

Everything was perfect and we can highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Breakfast very overpriced. We just had a coffee and a bite of fruit for 74 euros!!

The pool only had tiny windows, while the SPA area had floor to ceiling windows.

We attended a concert at The Elbphilharmonie and it was perfect! Great gym and pool (for a hotel) as well.

Excellent location, magnificent architecture, clean rooms, pleasant, professional and accommodating staff, pleasant and reasonably priced restaurant, good selection of amenities. Lenient time-frame for both breakfast and checkout.

Price is on the high end, but that is to be expected. One of the access cards initially did not work in elevator but was fixed by staff within minutes.

The perfect place to stay is visiting Hamburg for a concert at the Elbphilharmonie. Convenient parking and access to the concert hall.

I don’t enjoy busy breakfast buffets which seem overpriced and an underwhelming experience to start the day.

Atrium rooms are exactly that. No idea what weather was like outside!

Great location with amazing city and river views. Easy access to the viewing platform. Would be great if we book show there next time. Close to the newly opened Westfield Mall.

When we arrived at the room, the sheets were a bit ruffled, not as neatly laid out as our previous hotels. On the toilet seat, there seems to be residual stains /marks of cleaning products. I had carefully wiped down the toilet seat with disinfectant before we used it. I bought some new chocolates and stored them in the fridge but only realised that I forgot about them after we checked out. When my husband returned to the hotel and asked about the items in the fridge, the hotel said nothing was found in the fridge.

ATM exchange rate in the lobby was crazy (extra $35 to withdraw euro) and bar prices were a bit high.

Great location if attending a concert at the Elbphilamonie with wonderful quick meal and drink before the concert. Hotel is also well located to explore Hamburg Port with a train station near by to get you into the centre of town.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and the rooms are very spacious.

We had the inner atrium view room, it was disappointing as we were unaware that we would have zero view of the outside world. Difficult to know what the weather was like.
The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, even my children complained they were flat!
Considering the cost of the room per night you’d expect breakfast to be included but we had a bill for breakfast, £111 each day! Extortionate considering we were 2 adults and 2 young children (children simply having a small bowl of yoghurt and granola). After experiencing breakfast twice at the hotel we decided to explore the restaurants on the harbour and we were extremely happy with the breakfasts on offer. Would highly recommend.

Comfortable beds & room, stylish, fabulous views, superb pool, small window area opening for fresh air within the vast wall to ceiling windows (ie not a completely sealed in environment). Closeness to Elbphilarmonie and the highlights of Hamburg.

When we arrived, the hotel's concierge, Mr. Franky, greeted us and helped us with whatever we needed. Mr. Franky made us feel very comfortable and friendly.
We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and Ms. Jackeline upgraded our room at a special price.
The welcome was really sweet from her as was the cake that was waiting for us as a gift in our room.
Very nice interior pool , nice bar and very good breakfast !

Need to say that we are excited for both Westin Hamburg and Hamburg city . for sure , we will be back ❤

Amazing location! Rooms with the view are spectacular! Fantastic designs all through the hotel.If you're going to a concert in Elphie, it's a dream. You park you car in the underground carpark €35 for hotel guests. Lift to the hotel and then you are indoors for your room, all facilities, including concert halls. Perfect!

We were charged €100 DEPOSIT. I find it outrageous, especially in the light of the fact that hotel has access to my credit card, anyway! It was returned after few days. Not an elegant practice for a 5☆hotel.
