The Westin Hotel, Hamburg

Location was excellent! Couldn’t fault the staff, the gym and pool were an added bonus and were excellent! The room was huge, with a personal fridge and coffee machine and a free 1L bottle of water daily!

The breakfast was extortionate and very poor value for money. The price was not made clear to us on check in and we should have asked but got stung for one breakfast at €37 per person!

Grand view from our hotel room across the waterfront, enjoyed the ceiling-to-floor windows; very quiet and relaxing. Excellent breakfast and excellent location!

Left the note to have the sheets changed, which did not happen. I had to make a call to the reception in the evening when we returned to the room. That was disappointing. Some of the staff lack language skills in English and German alike.

The elegance and proximity to the concert hall, the Plaza and the staff service were all excellent.

No view and power point only on one side of the bed.

Would expect it to be more expensive but some of the drinks prices in the bar are a bit over the top.

Heating and cooling was not clear and no explanations. Room service with QR code is not the best way to order room service.

The hotel is extremely clean. In fact it is so usual for all Hamburg 5 star hotels! may be the cleanest hotels in the world! And it always makes pleasure to see how clean it was. Very friendly staff! They made me feel at home. Still for such high prices it is something to be expected.

When so high prices a charged for a room WHY there are no paid TV channels? In this hotel for the first time there was not even one music channel!!!

Location was incredible, i loved the terrace to be able to walk around and see the sky line. Rooms were top - really clean and well done.

The curtains!! The bed, the views; the fact that we could stroll through to the Philharmonic Hall for a concert! Breakfast was a delight, and the staff so attentive.

Difficult to store and charge a hired Mobility Scooter. Hotel was reluctant to allow it to be kept in the storage room due to the possibility of fire. They did allow it from second day however.

The staff and Siri sing were beyond anything I imagined. The best experience in my life. Would plan a special visit again! A once in a lifetime choice.

The view was magnificent from the comfortable room, and the reception desk team was consistently warm and kind.

In my opinion, the internet speed needs improvement in stability and consistency.

My wife and I went to 4 concerts at the Elbphilharmonie. It was extremely convenient as the hotel lobby and the concert hall foyer were both on 8th floor. We had a Studio Room. It was spacious and clean with a great view of the city and harbour. The hotel is in a great location. The subway station is less than 10 minutes away. 3 stops and you are in the City Hall and Alster Lake area.

We could not think of anything we dislike. We were in 1538 for 9 nights. We felt we could use more hanging space for clothes in closets and in the bathroom. We did return to Westin on a second visit and stayed at 1438. It was the same kind of room and we found more hanging space.

During our stay at the West Inn in Hamburg, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's prime location and stunning architecture. The service and the room also left a lasting impression on us. Our room had a partial view of the harbour, allowing us to take in the breathtaking beauty of Hamburg city and the harbour. The view was truly mesmerizing. Staying at this hotel was not just an ordinary experience, it was an extraordinary one. If you are planning a trip to Hamburg, we highly recommend staying at the West Inn. It is just the Perl of Hamburg.

The room was perfect. The best view and good food to eat. Also the staff was very friendly.

We did not like, that the check in was so late. Luckily, we got another room earlier.

Amazing hotel! Our room was perfect with the most beautiful views! Floor to ceiling windows, bath tub overlooking the city, massive comfortable bed! Hotel staff were all amazing, from concierge to reception to the spa staff! We had the best stay and will definitely be visiting the Westin hotels again! :D Thank you!

The room was very spacious and had a great view of the harbour. We especially liked the heated flooring in the bathroom

Although there was kettle and coffee machine there were no tea bags. We didn’t realise that we hadn’t paid for breakfast (we wrongly assumed that it was included in the price) and so had to pay an extra £34 each.
