A lovely hotel in the city centre. Handy location for transport and shops. It was a little busy during my stay given that it was the Xmas season, but didn't really bother me much. The grand staircase was all spruced up and festive looking.

There was an issue that needed fixing and the staff were very slow to respond - but this was nothing major.

The building is amazing, a lot of history to check around. The bedroom and bathroom are comfortable and spacious enough.

The area at night can be busy or not so busy. But it's what you can expect from a train station neighborhood.

The staff were very helpful and friendly always at hand for any needs. Navigating through the hotel was easy and well sign posted. It's central to everything and the train station was on our doorstep for our journey home after our delicious breakfast. Luxury room, food and service all round. Thank you.

Love the hotel rooms and building facilities in general.

Inappropriately dressed patrons in bar. Wish there was a dress code but I know this would be difficult to enforce however a management suggestion to dress in the spirit of a champagne bar's standards could be something to consider.

The staff were very pleasant and the bed very comfortable. The pillows were to die for.

I didnt realise that I needed a mortgage to buy a drink at the bar. £6:15 for a small bottle of beer is ridiculous.

The location is perfect, the staff from the minute you walk in the door until you leave are beyond professional , welcoming and patient (I also witnessed it with other guests also)

I wouldn’t recommend having a street facing room over weekend times , it can get a little noisy but that is out with the hotels control , this is just a tip for anyone booking in future

The hotel building was stunning. The architecture outside and the layout inside. The staircase was beautiful. Staff were friendly, the breakfast was fantastic a great variety of choice. Porridge if you wanted it, smoked salmon, both Scottish and English sausage, haggis, tatty Scones. Really impressive. The room was quiet despite it's location.

My room looked out into the station. It felt a bit strange. I would stay again but request a street facing room.

We liked the feel of the hotel. The location wss in the centre of Glasgow. Excellent transport links. The decor was outstanding, the room was very comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. The Champagne Bar was excellent, and the buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Would stay here again, had a great time.

Beautiful hotel, great location

Everything. This is our new favourite hotel. We loved the decor, the room facilities, the bedding the bathroom, and the wonderful concourse view of the station. The staff were exceptional.. Very friendly and all very good at their jobs, we were made to feel super welcome. We honestly didn’t want to leave.
