The grandeur, and magnificence of the property, the amicable staff, the location, the high ceilings with floor length curtains, was unmatched in this UK trip.

I like everything with central locality, Comfort in the. Main areas. Clean, tidy, good excellent.

I thought my room would have had a small fridge with the hotel being four star given that it was a premium room overlooking the concourse and good money paid. I also felt that for watching TV rather than having to sit on the hard chairs a more appropriate comfortable sofa would be better. Also felt that Friday night drinkers were rather loud and shared the dining room where I had again paid to eat. It was rather rowdy with shouting and a liyyle too lively for myself so I retired to my room which I did not think was just for paying guests who had been there for five days at this point. Other nights were fabulous to dine and we did that in peace and tranquility.

Excellent staff, big nice clean and quiet room. Would definitely come back again and recommend to family and friends. Slept better there than i do at home :)

Signage to breakfast was lacking and as I would have like to have used the lift , but i could not find it , staff pointed me in the right direction on the wayback Pillows were flat and not comfortable The shower door had a very small opening to get through

Breakfast room was very old and tired looking. Very busy. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. Shower hard to get in and out. We are 60+ and relatively fit but really struggled .

Well located and nice, big rooms. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. Super easy to get to from the central train station, which was really nice as we rode the train from Edinburgh.

We had an accessible room, and the tub felt unsafe to get in and out of. We managed fine, but it was strange to think it was an accessible room. Other than that, one of the desk people gave us incorrect information about the time for breakfast, which was frustrating,

The situation of the hotel is excellent, one main door was in The Railway Station and the other one round the other side in the main street. The hotel is clean a nd tidy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is on five floors with lifts to take you up. The breakfast was excellent. It is buffet style with plenty to choose from. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

breakfast excellent, buffet well stocked, freshly cooked and good service. Bedroom was spacious, clean with two large windows. Lacked lighting for reading in room. Lighting around mirror in en suite would have been good. Location excellent.

The room was cozy, although a bit compact for luggage. Had all the amenities, including a small kitchenette and fridge in room, which was a luxury we didn't see in other places. Location was fantastic for getting to shopping and other entertainment.

The parking situation was a nightmare - not a great choice if you have a car, but if you're taking rail or Uber-ing, it's quite convenient.

Poached egg cooked on request. Very good sausages and black pudding! Staff very helpful.

The breakfast was great you had plenty of choice on what to eat, hot or cold food, continental or just your basics, and plenty of drink services around so there was no queuing. The location for breakfast was street level this meant walking down stairs but there is also a lift from M floor if you cannot walk the stairs. The cost was reasonable as well.

Ideal location, beautifully decorated and kept. A very large room with a comfortable bed. Free WiFi. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Absolutely perfect!

The concierge was really helpful and went above and beyond, the room, whilst compact felt very luxurious, modern and well appointed.

Stunning modernised decor but kept the old feel. Gorgeous! The champagne bar Ab Fab! Location great. Breakfast included all Scottish ‘delicacies’ such as tatty scones, black pudding, haggis. Yum.

The lighting around entrance, foyer etc is very dull, would benefit from brighter lighting as decor is all dark in communal areas giving a dull experience

Unbeatable location right at the train station - perfect for rainy arrivals! Very comfortable for three night stay. I appreciated the fridge to keep a few bits cool.

I had one of the upper floor rooms, so could only see out of a window by standing on my bed.

Property was right inside the train station when we arrived from Edinburgh. Easy to walk to the art museum and the Botanic Gardens. Room was spacious enough for our last minute change. Hot water in the large shower and the a/c was cold!

We feel like the shower needs some attention. There is black scum around the soap dispenser I. The shower and the corners were quite scummy as well.

Wonderful uni que Place and Location.

The room was big and comfortable.

The rooms were a great size, and immaculate. The beds were so comfy and the bedding was of great quality. The only thing for me was the room was a bit warm for me, but that’s a personal preference and nothing to do with the hotel. You can control the temperature with the thermostat which is located in the room. The room had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. I would have liked a robe and slippers. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely return!
