Hotel location and having wanted to stay at the hotel for some time.

I think beer selection could perhaps be more varied, otherwise was pretty decent during our stay.

Beautiful building, very central. Lovely champagne bar on site. Rooms clean and bed really comfortable. Love the little shortbread biscuits too! Only cons were one lift wasn’t working and the only working lift was extremely slow which was a real pain. Room cleaning team know led on both days really loudly a couple of times quite early in the morning (8.30am on a weekend) which seemed a little unnecessary. Other than that would consider staying again.

Beautiful room, excellent location, staff on arrival were extremely helpful and generous as they gave us a free drink token to use in the bar. Hotel was quiet even with it backing onto the station. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food.

Excellent full Scottish breakfast with lorne sausage and haggis, and a pancake making machine. If you're expecting continental breakfast your options are more basic though. E.g. no slice of cheese. Location is excellent, literally in central station, still I didn't notice any sounds from trains or announcements.

One elevator was broken, so quite some waiting was required. Repair guys were working on it. The hotel is very dark inside.

Fantastic location. Extremely comfortable room. Had a wonderful sleep. Stunning staircase. Lots of plug sockets.With it being at the station there are taxis readily accessible.

Easy check in and out,room was spacious and spotless, All staff were helpful and polite .

Good room, good breakfast and good service

Starter wasn't great, fish dish at St Vincents event, rest of the food was good.

The hotel is steeped in history and beautifully decorated inside. The grand staircase is exquisite! The rooms are well equipped. Particularly liked the tea tray and its contents! Little downside, the bathroom grout needs a bit of work and refreshing but that's minor really. If anything, it could do with another bar area as it's very popular due to the tasty drinks and lovely location.

Room was very comfortable, quiet, excellent breakfast, very helpful reception staff and great value for money.

One elevator was out of order so we had to wait longer than necessary to travel from ground floor to our room on the 4th floor. Dinner wasn’t particularly good, strange menu, and service was poor.

Everything was perfect,we have stayed many times, it doesn't disappoint,rooms are amazing, breakfast has good options.

Loved the location, the ambience, the peacefulness and the comfort of the room and hotel.

Just loved the way they remembered me caught up with what we have been doing since l was last there. Bedroom had the view of Central Station great buzz. Great comfy bed, room very spacious great shower. Delicious dinner and breakfast.

Check in was non stressful and Victoria require a mention for her hospitality skills in welcoming us to the hotel. Room excellent, location overall for the hotel excellent but view from my room was Central Train Station concourse. Breakfast was excellent, staff wonderful.

Only downside was the Champagne Bar which was far too small to celebrate any occasion and the afternoon staff, one lady in particular serving at the bar never smiled once at anyone she was serving, she just looked a bit annoyed and unapproachable, therefore we left to celebrate our Golden Wedding somewhere else which was a shame. My husband had bought me a glass of Moet Champagne which was only half a glass (this was poured by the lady who did not smile) I looked at her hoping she was going to give me a full glass but alas no, she put the bottle back so I must say for £18 for a half glass was very overpriced.

We only used the room as a base and so didnt dine in the hotel. we were in a large room which was perfect for our family of 4, plenty of space and considering our room looked into the station it was very quiet.

Had a nice feel, the room felt airy and spacious, the sense of history and quality.

The whole experience was wonderful, fabulous next door to Glasgow central rail station!

Everything was excellent from the room to the breakfast and the location was perfect for me as I was able to step off the train straight into the hotel and then later walk to the venue, the Royal Concert Hall.

The room was lovely and good views over the station. Like the wardrobe hangers and bathroom amenities. Great central location.

The room temp system could be better, the shower seal could be improved to avoid water escape and towel quality we had some with small holes didn't complain but could be better.

Very good location in the station rooms are generous and nicely decorated .

Great location, lovely room in general. The complimentary hot chocolate sachets in the room were a nice surprise. The double bed was lovely and comfortable.

We had to change the bed sheets on arrival due to clean sheets that had a stain that had remained after they were cleaned. The sheets were technically clean but the stain wasn’t comfortable.

Super location. Beautiful old building. Friendly staff.

Don’t plan on getting anywhere in a hurry. Only 1 small, slow lift working for the whole hotel. Not one non-alcoholic beer or other drink available in the bar. Obviously coke and lemonade, but nothing grownup. Room temperature control unreliable (too stuffy then icy cold without any changes). The aircon panel flashed randomly in the middle of the night. Sadly won’t be back.

Beautiful old building, well preserved and renovated. In the heart of Glasgow, very convenient for exploring the city. Friendly and helpful staff.

The bathroom was not renovated yet and does not meet the standards you would expect the Hotel to meet. Bit of a let down especially given the fact that the room is really great.

The restaurant at champagne lounge not very much to chose from need a larger restaurant for. Evening I used my 100 pounds gift voucher at bar drinks came to 47 pound the next night I was told. They tallied it up to 100 so be aware of vouchers xx

The central location, the grandeur of the hotel exterior and interior. The size of the room, the luxurious extras and the sumptuous bedding all made this a great place to stay.
