Libertine Lindenberg Hotel, Frankfurt

The decor of the rooms and the whole hotel is beautiful and cosy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very tasty breakfast. As a bonus there is a full kitchen in the attic that can be used by all guests. That was very useful one evening when my daughter did not want to go out for dinner.

The hotel is in the middle of the party streets of Sachsenhausen with many bars. Even thought the hotel has sound insulations, on the weekend nights there is quite some noise that kept us up.

Great central location and easy check in and out.

Not so much a dislike, but the stairs into the loft might be difficult for some people. They were more annoying than anything. But I dont know if all rooms are the same as mine.

The hotel is very nice, and authentic. It is in a pleasant area. The room where I stayed was very nice and very quiet. Also, it is pretty big so that it is a plus. The staff is very nice as well.

They do not have a room for luggage. We had to leave our luggage prior the trip to airport and they do not have a proper room for this and it is not great.

The interior of every floor and every room was so unique. Even in the lobby. Lots of art hanging everywhere, great staff, everything was super clean, and there was even a shared kitchen, which is a great addition. They also had some merchandise and a mini market upstairs with unique designs. Staff was very kind, and provided us with a room with an enjoyable view, and were eager to give recommendations and help, or just to have a chat - which we liked very much. Downstairs we also got some coffee, loved it, and they even made it with oatmilk. The location was also good, and you can get everywhere using public transport. If you'd like to go out, the street is filled with bars and pubs, so there's enough opportunity to find a place! Honestly, 10/10 would stay here again. Especially if you're looking for a small, cozy, artistic hotel, definitely (!) would give this one a shot :)

There was not much to dislike, quite honestly. Everyone was friendly and listened to our requests. Such as wanting a room with a view or wanting an extra blanket. Only downside being that we couldn't stay longer.

We stayed here as a group of friends, booking five rooms for the weekend, and the experience was excellent. The hotel is very modern with stylish, well-designed rooms and particularly comfortable beds. What makes this hotel stand out—especially for those traveling in a group—is the common area on the upper floor. It includes a lounge and kitchen facilities where you can sit, cook, and relax. It was the perfect spot for us to wind down in a private setting after a night out in Frankfurt, rather than having to find a public bar or sit separately in our rooms. The staff were super accommodating throughout our stay and handled our group’s needs with ease. They also provided secure luggage storage for us on our final day, which allowed us to explore the city a bit more before heading home.

It’s a vegan home… so don’t expect bacon & egg for breakfast.

I’ve stayed here two times now and will make this my base every time I’m in Frankfurt. The hotel feels small and cozy even though there are plenty of rooms, and the facilities (kitchen, common area, lounge, laundry) are very well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast is great (vegan!) and the beds are super comfortable. Murat is the best guy ever — both times I stayed, we chatted during breakfast and he felt like an old friend. Highly recommend this hotel for a short or medium stay in a great part of Frankfurt.

The neighborhood itself is noisy as there are lots of bars and such around, but as long as the windows are closed, you won’t hear anything.

Very cute hotel and near to city center. Breakfast is vegan but I enjoyed it.

I missed a desk in the room to perform some small tasks.

The place is in a great location, near the river and old town. It was also convenient for public transport. The rooms were very clean and the communal kitchen on the top floor was fantastic!

Everything was great and would definitely recommend to stay here again, the beds are quite firm though and although we had the windows shut it is quite noisy from the street from below overnight.

Everything! The building is so lovely and stylish, the rooms are lovely, the staff are so genuinely friendly (Irini and Helena were great!) and the communal kitchen and bar are so cosy, with fantastic music, I wanted to move in! And they have a recording studio downstairs! Amazing. I’ll find any excuse to come back to Frankfurt just to stay here! Thank you Libertine!

Room was lovely and clean and large. Very easy check in and out. Thankfully quiet with great double glazing despite the location!

Its in a strange location - literally in the middle of bar party centre of Frankfurt! Which made it easy to get around but also quite odd if you're not going to bars!

Great location and apartment, comfy bed, no noise at all from outside - which is lively at night.

Although an apartment there was just a run with a fridge, sink and hob - not a single utensil, pan, kettle, no crockery or cutlery! We're assuming it was because there was also a communal kitchen but when you pay for an apartment you expect more. Also, there's plenty of space for what could be a bigger, comfortable sofa rather than the very small one in the living area.

Friendly staff, wonderful location in the heart of everything but still in a safe area. Easy access to transport. The room was stylish, the bed comfortable, plenty of wall outlets, the WiFi worked well. Someone mentioned that it was noisy from the pubs around the corner but honestly it was negligible and the skylight was a nice touch.

It does not have air conditioning, but the little fan provided was enough to keep cool in July. The little kitchenette with hot plate is cute and would be nice for a longer stay, but there weren’t any cooking instruments provided to go with it.

No air conditioning ( our fault for not double checking this) but the fan provided & open windows works to cool room temperature.

Loved the modern concept and the room we got upgraded for free was amazing. We enjoyed the extra facilities like the community kitchen and the location was also a perfect distance from the city center.

The room service could have been more thorough but it didn’t really matter for a short stay.

Beautifully decorated hotel right in a privileged area of great restaurants and bars. We arrived after hours and self check in was relatively straightforward. Staff are lovely and very hospitable and truly care for your experience.

Kitchenette is not very well equipped, so not much point of having one. There are excellent shared facilities upstairs though and a very good breakfast available.

Small “maisonette” but had everything we needed.

It is in a central party location and it is very loud, cannot sleep with open windows and there is no ventilation available. Our window view was a big pile of garbadge bags and trash.

Was positively surprised, how quiet the room was in spite of a very booming nightlife around - that's the first hotel where the windows are being soundproof so well! The bed was very comfortable, also the tiny bathroom had all the things we needed! Extra bonus were the nice design items in the room!

No Airconditioning Some rooms have bed on a mezzanine within. People with limitation on climbing ladder like stairs need to avoid these rooms.

Lovely building and great location / in walkable area. Loved the idea and design of the shared space. A few stairs down to my room. Was cute for the night but not what I was looking for, for an extended stay.

I thought I'd booked a better room as I had a free upgrade - It was lower level, looking over an alleyway. Stairs up to the bed.

The staff were so friendly and we loved Ermin’s (Armin’s) cocktails.

The location was fabulous, lovely friendly staff.On arrivel we were upgraded to a beautiful room for my husband's birthday. The location is super,right in the heart of Sachenhausen and a stones throw from the town. Will be returning

The vegan breakfast was DELICIOUS, particularly the croissants (we don’t normally eat vegan, btw). We had a quiet room on a high level in the side of the hotel that is away from the street and heard nothing all night. The location was fantastic for walking along the river, sightseeing in the old area near cathedral, and finding dinner nearby. Fabulous little hotel.

The hotel staff was excellent. Every single staff member greeted us when we entered or exited the hotel! There is fun and corky artwork throughout, we walked on each leave just to look at it! The free laundry facility was a wonderful surprise.

Its a cozy and stylish hotel, in a perfect location.

The staff went above and beyond. Extremely nice and kind. The location is great if you do not mind to be in a party spot. The rooms are comfy and have the little special extra touch. A bit more personal than most other hotel rooms. The kitchen upstairs is great and gives it really more a feeling of a temporary home than a hotel. Extremely dog friendly too. Happy to return anytime.

The party location brings some noise and dirt on the street. But I loved the location nevertheless. The shower didn't drain well but it was fixed immediately. A little bit more care should be given to clean the joints in the shower.

The hotel is very stylish, comfortable, and well-located. The lobby turns into a bar in the evening and is a nice evening hang-out spot.

We asked to store our bags for half a day after we checked out, and were told to place them in front of a door to a storage room. To our dismay no one ever put the bags in the storage room while we were gone. Also, while the room has a small kitchenette, it has barely any kitchen items if you want to actually cook in your room.

Staff was amazing! Very Clean! Great location!
