Hotel The Pure, Frankfurt

Felt very safe as a solo traveller when inside the hotel! Gym & sauna were a great addition, room had slippers and reception had bathrobes to use the sauna with. Breakfast had ok choices (including gluten free items like fresh baked bread rolls). Staff were all lovely, and rooms are very soundproof from neighbouring rooms, you would hardly know anyone else was staying there! Recommend staying here is attending conferences in Kap Europa, very short walk from here and from Hbf. Shopping mall nearby (5 mins walk). Nice bath products and speaker in the room!

Pillows were incredibly thin.

The Pure has very professional and friendly staff and comfortable, very clean rooms. The breakfast was wonderful and constantly refreshed - we were very impressed by the constant service and freshness of the food. The Pure is within easy walking distance of the main train station, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay.

Sadly the elevator was out of order - thankfully staff took our cases to the 3rd floor room on arrival but we struggled to bring them down again as it wasn’t fixed in the 3 days we were there. I thought at least a gesture of something like a drink voucher or offer to assist bring them down would have been nice.

Our tip is to request a room at the rear of the hotel as those facing the street can be very noisy at night.

Comfortable, clean and great staff. Good sized room and the Bluetooth radio was cool.

Smallish bathroom

An easy 5 min walk from Frankfurt Hbf and easy walk to river and other city attractions. The rooms were clean and a good size. The hotel has a bar and courtyard. There are restaurants and bars close by and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Although the area was a bit sketchy, I personally had no issues despite staying out late (I would normally return back around 1-2am). The hotel does make up for what it lacks in the location through. The staff was friendly, the bed was super comfy and the facilities were great.

The room was a little dirty and lacked maintenance but it wasn't a major issue.

Sauna was good but need to ask for it to be put on,

The location is bad drug dealing going on around it (and maybe even in it) and rough, but it’s close to the station and good for solo traveling

Conveniently located, helpful and friendly staff, we didn’t try the gym or sauna but the hotel offered great amenities. Our room was spacious and had a balcony option that was nice, option for a welcome drink which we forgot to take advantage of! Appreciated having a coffee machine in the room.

The pillows were quite thin although we didn’t try to ask for additional ones and we still slept okay considering! The shower wasn’t ideal size for someone over 6 ft tall due to the height of the shower head but it seems very common in Europe.

Close to the metro and tram stop (if you are going to a concert two trams leave from the stop near the hotel to the stadium and you can also take a train from the main station),

Good hotel nice and close to the Frankfurt main station. Plenty of cost effective eating options in and near the station. The reception staff the day of check out was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hospitable staff who really care for their guests, beautiful design of the rooms and shared areas, convenience! The little luxuries like coffee machine and speaker make the place extra cosy.

This is a really nice hotel in an unfortunately bad area. I did not feel the danger of violence there but it is a popular hangout for junkies. If you are sensitive to such things this area is not for you. For a shorter stay to be within convenience of the train it’s just fine.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Frankfurt station. A Welcome Drink in a pleasant lounge was a nice surprise. This was our second stay at the hotel and we should certainly stay again. Restaurants nearby and easy access to the city.

A bigger sign outside the hotel would have helped us to find it!

I had a room on the top floor with a balcony. The room was good size with good storage set up for clothes and other items. Unlike some hotels in U.S. the room was cleaned every day and towels were replaced with clean ones. The breakfast staff and the breakfast itself was very good, with many options. The rest of the staff was very nice and I didn’t have any complaints while there. The reception area is very modern with comfortable seating choices. Less than 5 minutes walk to train station. Nice Italian restaurant with very moderate prices about a minute away. I stayed there for six nights and was very happy.

The room was nice , there was a marshall speaker and enjoyed the concept and the vibe of the place. The breakfast was decent , not the standard continental , as they went a bit further than that concept.

The hotel was in a bit of shady area, did not feel that safe, along with that I was carrying some heavy luggage and the entrance was a stairway , so bit difficult but not horrible.

Very convenient location a short walk from the north entrance of HBF station, and a few tram routes even closer than that. Sauna available 24/7. Breakfast had a very good range of options. And we were offered a welcome drink on arrival. We'd definitely stay here again.

There was a window between the shower and the main room. This meant that you illuminated the bedroom when using the bathroom in the middle of the night.

There was some modesty frosting, but only halfway up and it didn't really go high enough to cover the chest area.

We were in a twin room, but the beds were right next to each other (like a typical Dutch double bed). So I think with this and the visibility of the shower user, it's a bit more of an intimate twin room than we were expecting. We're close enough that it was fine, but it would have been weird if we were just acquaintances.

The breakfast buffet area is small, but so special and sweetly presented with all you need for a boutique breakfast. It is not overly crowded, and adjacent to a very lovely outdoor rear garden courtyard, which you can use to sit with a drink, snacks or coffee. The location to Frankfurt train station is excellent, walking distance. The reception/check-in area doubles as a bar which is a quirky and welcoming suggestion! The Hotel Team are excellent, I felt really welcomed and they are so helpful for a new person to the city, they will do as much as they can for you. The property is clean, freshly decorated with a lot of white and cool design.

I couldn't score 100% for the facilities as the mention of a 'gym' is a little ambiguous when they have a bench, a set of dumbbells and a few cardio machines in a corner, in an area too small to work out in really. This section of the property needs developing.
Secondly, it is true what some folk are saying about the area, around the hotel it can be extremely seedy if you go down the wrong street/s. There are one or two streets you should just avoid, for your experience of Frankfurt. There are people openly doing drugs in the street and calling out to you, or staring, as a solo female traveler. I would suggest coming to the hotel if you like it for location to the train station, but plan your activities in central Frankfurt away from the hotel, and get a taxi around.
