beautiful place to stay, extremely friendly staff. Very helpful with finding nice trattoria. The breakfast is also very tasteful. We love the decoration of this old palazzo. The restauration is done with great care and eye for detail. We love to be back!!

Really beautiful hotel for a very reasonable price. The staff are exceptionally helpful – nothing is too much trouble. Also very secure with multiple coded gates. The room I had was beautiful – very spacious, beautiful bath and well decorated.

The road outside is a bit noisy so bring earplugs. The breakfast is just a cold buffet which is nice, but no cooked options.

This was a delightful boutique hotel that was like staying in an old Florentino villa. It was in a good walkable location to all the historic sites and the staff was extremely helpful with tips for restaurants and places to see. our room was charming and the bed was very comfortable and linens pressed and cleaned every day and all facilities very fresh and clean. We had both a double shower and a huge bathtub to enjoy in a large room. Enjoyed fresh crossaints, cappuccino and yogurt and granola every morning with pastries and fruit and tea and coffee available in the breakfast area throughout the day. The neighborhood was charming and can’t wait to go back!

Loved the location - away from the hustle of the main center but just a short walk away from all the sights. Surrounded by great restaurants and gelato (important). The staff here are just amazing - so friendly and helpful. Its a stunning property and unique from any of our other stays in Italy. Every corner is filled with something interesting.

if you are travelling with kids, just be aware that there are stairs to and from some of the rooms. Luggage and stroller can go in a small lift. Not a problem, but something to note.

Staying here was such a lovely experience! The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming & helpful, the decor is uniquely beautiful, the breakfast was just right. No noise during the night whatsoever & great location.

Amazing staff amazing location and fabulous rooms but the best was the all day cakes/fruit and coffee/tea free for guests. Super soft towels extra comfy bed and we love the mix of modern furniture with the old.Very well run establishment they just get how to treat their guest right we would highly recommend. Definitely worth staying in Oltrarno Splendid it was perfection

We loved everything about Oltrarno Splendid. It's situated in the quieter, less touristy and arguably 'cooler' neighbourhood of Florence over the river and we much preferred this area to the more touristy Duomo side. The hotel is beautiful, with very artsy vintage decor. The room was huge, quiet, and simply stunning. The continental breakfast was nice and we were able to bring family into the reception/cafe area for a drink which was much appreciated. The staff on the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful, even phoning a restaurant for us to book dinner.

The breakfast could have been slightly better and we were not offered a coffee.

We loved Oltarno Splendid. Every detail from the cold welcome drinks in our room upon arrival in such heat, to the quaint breakfast and lovely staff. We were only here for one night but it was superb! I loved how each room was unique. The hotel is a feast for the eyes - with amazing artwork, furnishings, and interior details. While other boutique hotels opt for modern minimalism, Oltarno swings the other way and makes you feel like you are staying in a carefully curated Italian bohemian palace. BOOK THIS PLACE NOW.

Excellent location. Easy walk into the main square. Quieter area than the busy tourist centre which was nice. Still lots of restaurants around. Alberto was a fabulous host who was happy to help book restaurants, cabs etc. Breakfast was traditional Italian and filling!

Location superb, breakfast lovely with a nice range of foods, all staff were helpful & friendly. Our room had great views in 3 directions of the rooftops of Florence. We loved the design, decor & decoration of the rooms. It was a little quirky but very stylish at the same time with a huge chandelier & claw foot bath in our bedroom. We also had a seperate & very stylish bathroom. Our bed was very comfortable. Wifi was good.

Our phones weren’t working & because access to the hotel is through a locked gate, we had to wait 15 mins for another guest to leave the hotel before we to get in to checkin.

It's on the other side of the river, away from Florence's main touristy center. So, while it's a short walk every morning, it's a lovely quiet neighbourhood.

Rooms could have been a little brighter, but otherwise near perfect.

The room was absolutely beautiful and the hotel was a peaceful retreat from town. The location being on the other side of the river, gave us a chance to discover so much more in Florence! Every detail of creativity and hospitality was wonderful. We loved Oltrarno Splendid and would highly recommend.

We personally enjoyed everything. Some people however, should be aware of the number of steps up to the rooms. There is a lift for those who prefer less steps, and the hosts ate very helpful.

This hotel was one of a kind :) the vintage , antique vibe was everything! From the decor , to the welcoming staff this place is a must !

The breakfast was just okay .

The staff at Oltrarno could not have been nicer. And the hotel's location was great--just across the Arno and away from the crowds. The design of the rooms and public areas also was great. We can't wait to stay there again or at one of the company's sister hotels. This is a gem of a hotel in a beautiful city.

Everything was perfect. Alberto at the reception was amazingly nice and very helpful and even prepared an early breakfast, for we had to leave very early for the airport. The room was very beautiful, clean, the beds were super comfy and there even was a late snack at the reception till late night at disposal.

No own garage, but that is quite normal in Florence.

Location was perfect! Just a few steps from the Arno river, walk across the bridge and you're close to the Uffizi, Duomo. Academia Galleria (the David), downtown Florence - an incredibly walkable and romantic city. Hotel staff was so helpful and accommodating, even booking us tickets to see sights and reservations for their fav restaurants. We are so grateful. Also, rooms mix old-world charm with antiques and modern decor, incorporating colorful, fun art. Would totally stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Oltrarno. Our room was beautiful, clean and with everything you need from a hotel - kettle, coffee maker, mini fridge. Breakfast was delicious with a selection of cake, pastry, cheese, cured meats. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our short break in Florence. The location is also great with a choice of places to eat nearby. If we are lucky enough to return we would definitely book again. The staff were friendly and helpful making us feel very welcome.

Oltrarno Splendid is an incredible hotel. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, and the decor is chic! The hotel smells incredible, is super clean, and air conditioned to perfection. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve experienced in a hotel. They always have drinks and snacks out at all hours if you need and the breakfast in the morning is perfectly fresh and healthy. Great location in a quieter part of town with good nightlife.

Fantastic location in a lovely historic building with very large and comfortable rooms. The staff were so friendly and breakfast was very good. I have been to Florence several times and this was by far my favorite hotel experience.

The interiors are so chic, we loved the freestanding bathtub in the bedroom. Davide was such a friendly and helpful host, helping us make a dinner reservation at a very popular restaurant, and giving us all his local recommendations

The beds are very firm and the pillows were pretty hard, we didn’t have the best night’s sleep

We loved the building it gave you a real feeling of Florence to be staying there and it’s a great location. The Manager was excellent - so friendly and really helpful we couldn’t have asked for more.

I was very impressed with EVERYTHING about the property. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location couldn’t be more ideal. Never needed a taxi. Breakfast was perfect and served in delightful surroundings. The room was very spacious and artfully decorated.

I wasn’t aware that the hotel was on the third floor of the building and it was a bit confusing. But once checked in you are given a gate code and it was super easy and not an issue.

Fabulous location in Oltrarno. Just a few minutes walk to the brilliant Piazza Santo Spirito with its morning market, bars, restaurants and spectacular church. Also very quick walk to Piazza del Carmine and, if you head south, for a walk into the fields around Bellosguardo. The centre of Florence is an even shorter stroll over the river. I also liked the fact the property has a limited number of rooms, the style of the place, the comfortable bed, the warm service...and the bath in the room...with proper hot water, which is rarer in Florence hotels than you may imagine!! Just a fantastic place to stay.
