The location was terrific, the staff was very friendly. They had a great setup for breakfast.

No view, but we didn’t spend much time in the room.

The location was perfect for us, away from crowds but within a 5 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio and 10 minutes to the centre and galleries etc. We stayed in a King room...Probably the nicest room we've ever stayed in. Roll top bath, huge and incredibly comfortable bed and big windows that open onto the street. Cool, stylish and authentic. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

I had to make a last minute pivot and find lodging for my elderly parents b/c my son was sick and my father is immune compromised. I made the reservation the same day my parents checked-in and the staff was amazing. They were so responsive, helpful, and kind. They arranged a taxi for my parents and helped them with their bags. The location was ideal for us.

This is for Florence in general, buildings and roads are not made for the elderly. My parents are mobile, but there are a lot of stairs and a tiny elevator for two 86yo people.

Loved the staff. Alberto at the front desk is an absolute star. Full of life and smiles-he gave us great tips and suggestions. The breakfast was great! I love the fruit available all day and pastry and cookies. Very generous.

Unfortunately I arrived extremely unwell to the hotel. Immediately the staff catered for our every need. I didn't have any energy and they managed to give us our room four hours earlier which I desperately needed in order to be able to rest as I had a high fever. They gave us breakfast when we arrived even though we were hours earlier than expected. They allowed me to rest in the lounge untill the room was ready. Every staff member that passed by would check up on me to see if I needed anything. Although my entire stay in Florence ended up being in the hotel due to my sickness, it was worth every penny spent. They even allowed a late check out by an additional 4 hours so that I wouldnt have to roam the streets with fever until our train was set to depart. We originally chose this building for its beautiful interiors but honestly besides that the highlight was the truly helpful and kind staff we found throughout our stay. 10/10 service.

staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating, gave us great recommendations for food and where to go. Room was lovely and spacious, with a big bed. location was great much as it was much quieter than the other side of the river and still walkable distance to all attractions.

Our room was absolutely stunning, we just loved the design of the whole place. We always had the most kind and helpful - shout out to Antonio for the restaurant reservations, he is so lovely! Really centrally located and such an oasis of calm after all the sightseeing. Breakfast great with all you could need. Would highly recommend the super cool hotel.

If I was being extremely, and I mean extremely, picky… I’d say that a bit more choice at breakfast would he great. That said, I had no issues with breakfast and what was on offer personally.

Fabulous place to stay. Everything walking distance but away from the crowds on a quiet street on the other side of the river Arno. Staff so kind and friendly in particular Alberto who very kindly gave us a bottle of fizz on arrival after telling him we got married in Florence 20 years ago. Rooms clean and cosy and excellent shower in bathroom. Breakfast was lovely. Good selection of hams, cheese, pastries, yoghurts and cereals along with great coffee. I would definitely stay here again

We loved everything, from the amazing and unique room to the excellent location that was close to everything and the wonderful and kind staff who were there for us with any help or questions. We will definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it.

Unique rooms tastefully decorated and restored. Movie channel on sky was an added bonus! Alberto and all the staff really welcome and friendly, Snacks and food available 24 hours .

Noise from the street - but to be expected in a city anyway, and it quietened down by 11 pm. But this would not stop us staying there again !

The provided breakfast was great. It had a good selection of sweet and savoury options and the coffee was also great.

Location perfect, not right in the centre but just a couple of minutes walk away from the crowded city. Rooms gorgeous, staff exceptional, breakfast excellent! A hidden gem.

Only one criticism, the rooms ccould do with a some drawers for putting clothes etc away neatly. There was only a small hanging area for clothing.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The interiors are absolutely beautiful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout. The staff were amazing—friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. And the breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of tasty options to start the day right. Highly recommend!

We were quite close to the kitchen so in the morning we were woken up by the staff setting the breakfast tables at around 7am which was quite loud. But it didn’t bother us too much as it got us up nice and early to explore!

The staff were truly unbelievable. Alberto checked us in and was fantastic - truly 5* customer service. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was super and the bar with pastirss, water and coffee 24 hours per day was perfect.

Nothing. Generally exceptional stay for Florence. In an amazing location - much better than staying across the bridge as it was more quieter as Florence was extremely busy.

Our second time staying at oltrarno splendid and it did not disappoint! We absolutely adore this hotel, from the friendly and kind staff to the uniqueness of the hotel and rooms, this is our favorite hotel we’ve stayed at! The location is awesome, close to city center but far enough away to enjoy a little more quiet. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff is so helpful and welcoming. Would come back again and again!

Incredibly friendly staff helpful and well-known in the community ( we got special treatment whenever we said we were staying at Oltrarno).

I guess not having direct street access might be annoying for American tourists but to me it was a proper European experience.

Loved the friendly welcome from Alberto who also helped us with restaurant booking. The hotel is a cool, quiet and fragrant oasis in a very hot and busy city, ideally located too.

We had a really lovely stay here! A historic building in a great part of the city. Alberto and Davide were the perfect hosts - warm, friendly and always happy to provide recommendations for bars and restaurants. Grazie mille - we will be back!

The room was like home - every small detail thought of.

If you are sensitive to sounds - the traffic/people sounds are quite a lot when asleep.

The rooms were very comfortable and very clean! Perfect location Alberto was so warm and helpful, gave us excellent suggestions for interesting places to see in Rome as well as Tuscany, Milan.. also gave us some great recommendations for restaurants. Highly recommend.

B&B is in a historical building and has an elevator/stairs for access. The services are prefect, from receptionists to breakfast and cleaning staff. They provided text book 5-star level services. Breakfast is good. Free sandwiches, pastries, fruits, tea and coffee 24 hours. Location is very good, walking distances to attractions and many good restaurants, coffee shops and even a Sunday market are in the neighborhood.

For the money charged, furnitures and decorations in the room could have been a better quality. There is no place to put toiletries. Rooms facing street could be noisy (drunk people, motocycles and ambulances). Light sleepers should choose rooms facing inner courtyard.

Unique small luxury hotel with inspired artistic decor. Large comfortable rooms with individual character combine to make a most pleasant and comfortable stay in Oltrarno. Not a traditional hotel as such, but that is the charm of this gorgeous property. Kind and friendly staff always willing to help make your stay memorable. Excellent location for exploring magnificent Florence.

Oltrarno S is a really lovely place to stay, peaceful and really helpful and friendly staff. Alberto was lovely, chatted about our likes and helped with bookings. We loved the design and feel of the place.

Fantastic location on the right side of Florence immersed between vintage stores. Hotel is beautifully designed and super-stylish. The staff exceptional. Bedroom was absolutely fabulous and beautifully furnished and the bathroom immaculate with Bigalow NYC products! Loved. Breakfast delicious. Will definitely be back!

Good location, helpful staff, lovely aesthetic

Location is fantastic in the less touristy bit of Florence. Rooms are large, clean all new furnishings. Staff incredibly friendly . Would definitely come back

Everything was beyond PERFECT! I spent my anniversary there for one night and it was memorable. The double shower was life changing. Fragrant products, immaculate cleanliness, comfortable mattress... The bathtub was the cherry on top! Alberto did everything to make us feel at home and we felt immediately at home. Would definitely go back and stay for longer! The decoration is possibly the coolest I've seen in a long time, every detail is remarkable.

Really beautiful hotel for a very reasonable price. The staff are exceptionally helpful – nothing is too much trouble. Also very secure with multiple coded gates. The room I had was beautiful – very spacious, beautiful bath and well decorated.

The road outside is a bit noisy so bring earplugs. The breakfast is just a cold buffet which is nice, but no cooked options.
