Highlights: A sincere gesture of appreciation was warmly received by the staff this morning — a testament to the mutual respect fostered here. The rare serenity of the property in the heart of the city. Impeccable design and balance throughout the stay. Suggestions for refinement: A touch more anticipation in guest follow-up would further elevate the experience (e.g., technical room issues). Consistency in guest communication across all departments could be enhanced. Final Word: Palace Downtown doesn’t simply offer luxury — it curates an experience of timeless sophistication. Wow! It’s super beautiful hotel even if a little bit old but maintained was very well! Very nice staffs especially the front desk guys James and Lisash who was very kind and helpful for me! The food was great in Thai restaurant as well! Recommend try it.

From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding, especially from the doormen who went above and beyond in making me feel welcome. Special thanks to Roy, Jasmon, Fredrick, and Ali, honestly their warm greetings and professionalism truly exceeded my expectations. The experience at Buhayra Lounge was equally memorable. The service was impeccable, and the food was exceptional. My gratitude goes to Rowbell, Siraj, and Amr for their attentiveness and excellent service throughout my visits. I would also like to extend a special thank you to the lady who checked me in. Her welcoming demeanor and understanding of my preferences made a significant difference and set the tone for a truly personalized stay. The Palace Downtown continues to be one of my favorite hotels, and it remains my top choice every time I visit Dubai. The property offers a world-class spa, a wide variety of restaurants, and spacious, beautifully appointed rooms that I thoroughly enjoy. The location is also ideal — within walking distance to Souk Al Bahar, Dubai Mall, and many of the city’s iconic attractions.

I found the room lighting to be slightly dim for my preference, especially as I enjoy reading in the evenings. I would appreciate it if brighter lighting options were made available to enhance the overall comfort of the room.

All the hotel staff are extremely professional, neat, and kind, always striving to provide the best possible service. The hotel itself is clean, exceptionally beautiful, enjoyable, and a peaceful place to relax. The breakfast they serve is simply outstanding.

I truly felt like royalty during my stay. The atmosphere was peaceful and the location very convenient. The staff were exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to compensate for the absence of the waterfall. Breakfast was excellent, and the massage was the best I’ve had in a very long time.

In my stay the famous Dubai mall fountain is closed for maintenance and felt the price could've been lower because it lost the beautiful view, also the bathroom seat could've been greater it feels kinda small to move even though the bathroom is huge but the seat is next to a wall

Service at the breakfast restaurant should for sure be improved. It is our forth time in this hotel and each time we face some issues. This time the hostess was never there. People would get in a small queue to wait for her. One morning even Chief himself had to follow us to the table. Drinks (teacoffee) are served with delay, cutlery is not replaced, meaning if you take fruits or smth else for tea you need to find yourself a fork (( But this comment is only about the service at the restraunt, as the food is always awasome

We received an upgrade to a suite with a direct view of the Burj Khalifa, it was stunning. Staff were very attentive and provided assistance when requested.

Overall the accommodation was pretty pricey, but it was BEAUTIFUL.

The Location is incredible, property is honestly so serene and quite, loved everything about it, the services, the staff, the food.

There is a lack of outlets inside the hotel for sure, I couldn't find any bars or vibing restaurants at night.

The bell boys were a disaster leaving our cases in the back of the taxi which then drove away with our cases.

My family and I stayed at Palace Downtown while we had to wait for our connecting flight to Sydney, 15 hr layover. We found the service attentive and the room large and clean. Our stay was brief, however we were impressed with the service and convenient location.

Excellent location, such a close walk to the mall and the fountain. Pool area, although small, was beautiful and great service. Breakfast buffet very diverse with great selections. Spa was very tranquil with a good selection of services. A wonderful Arabian themed hotel.

The location was ideal as some of the most famous sightseeing highlights were in walking distance. The whole staff did a perfect job, which contributed to our wonderful travel experience.

We booked a room towards the fountain side and when checking in we were informed that we only have a partial view. That was a disappointing start.

I think the hotel is worth 4 stars and not 5. The rooms need renovation, there is a musty smell in the room, probably a mold or moisture problem
