The beds were amazing! Quiet & clean but not worth what I paid. Understaffed but friendly concierge’s.

You didn’t have much choice but to pay extra for valet parking & that was outrageous!! $20.00 is very reasonable but $33.00. ODD amount I have to say! No shuttle to the casinos, it was 5 degrees & snowing, spent a lot of money just to sleep somewhere & then get no “extras” very disappointing, can’t say much about the “free breakfast” either

The price for what it is was crazy expensive. Rooms were not vacuumed, one room had no shower curtain, no soap.Pool was open but no towels. front desk people were rude.

location was great to walk to game and eat at local restaurants. king suite was nice, the mattress was super comfy and the pillows were spot on! the exercise areas were huge, like a real gym. great views from exercise area. love the market store adjacent to hotel. they have hot coffee and anything you might need.

hot tub broken, didnt know in advance, i would have stayed at a different hotel. missing garbage containers in my room. wished fridge could be colder, unable to adjust it. make sure u have a towel before getting into pool. i liked the pool for laps but some thought it was cold.

The restaurant closing early and some of the restaurants staff was rude

I like that the hotel was located near the waterfront of Detroit and around all the restaurants. I also liked that there was restaurants in the hotel. We also got an amazing view of the river from our room, which was a huge plus. The overall experience was good.

I wish there was a microwave in the hotel. We were also missing an office chair in the room, so that was a little disappointing.

The cost of the room was a bit much. Parking cost $50 for self parking for 2 days in the garage. The room was quite dusty. There was old food in the fridge from the previous guests. Our window was permanently foggy because the window needed to be replaced.

Comfy bed with a great city view of Detroit, river & Canada. Great location for attending Tiger game. Loved the $5 Margaritas @ the bar.

Service was terrible! Asked multiple times for extra linen. Called 2 times one night and stayed a up waiting for 1.5 hrs. Then called the next night and received nothing. Finally called during the day and spoke with a manger. We received it the 3rd night of our stay (our last night). Asked for more towels and they brought us 1 for 4 people. Lights were burnt out when we arrived. Our air conditioner stopped working. Staff was unfriendly and rude. The nicest person we met during our stay was the maintenance man when he came up to help fix the ac. We reserved the pool the 1st night for 8p-9p, and they came and started cleaning the pool with a machine at 830 so we couldn’t go in the pool. The next night at the pool there was no towels. We called and asked for some to get brought and they never arrived.

Limited and expensive snacks drinks. They advertised the convenience of the Detroit people mover, however did not mention it was not running during COVID. We visited in July long after the mask mandates were lifted, so we were surprised when we arrived and it was still not running despite Marriott promoting this as a benefit of the hotel. Did not like parking was off site by a 3rd party, however it is only a block away, however when arriving at 1am on a Saturday night most people would not have been comfortable parking the car themselves and walking back.

The location was great because we walked everywhere.

There was no coffee in the room. I know they said it was because of COVID but other hotels had coffee pots.

The restuant in the hotel even tho they close early. I stayed at this property before and the location is great.

The charge for the pool which is indicated in fashion. When the welcome email it does not state that a specific charge for and you only 1 hour of pool time. And restaurants close early and there's no way to order food.

Within walking distance to casino and restaurants. Close proximity to Belle Isle Park. The hotel staff was polite, friendly, helpful and responsive to requests.

The first room given at check-in was very musty. Once reported, we were quickly given another room. The bathtub stopped up after first shower. Staff removed blockage immediately, but did not properly clean up debris in tub or floor after. The bathroom sink drained slowly starting on day two. Very hard to sleep because of nightly activity with very loud cars. Drivers seem to be racing all night long, It felt like hotel was in the middle of a racetrack. Hotel could benefit from updating rooms (couch, bathroom renovation and roim carpet). Upon check-out the valet took too long to retrieve vehicle.
