Very convenient for the people mover to get around town safely!

Great location, friendly staff , clean and the room was spacious and comfortable

I didn’t like that the parking was not in the same building as the hotel. But glad that at least there was parking available.

Close to the jazz festival, nice view of the Detroit River.

Noisy from traffic noise on Jefferson. People playing loud music at 3 am. The food at IHOP was cooked in oil and was very greasy.

The staff was exceptionally friendly. I had a scooter delivered, and the staff were very helpful. The neighborhood was central, and the front desk was very efficient. Valet parking worked very well.

Staff member who checked us in was amazing,welcoming and engaging and exuded the same fot the rest of our stay-made us feel incredibly valued-made our stay

Was not aware that breakfast was available as part of the stay. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Location close to downtown attractions and the tram for getting to the stadium was a plus for us.

The room was nice & appealing to the eye. Location was close to where I needed to go.

Whatever the man’s name that checked me in had a bad attitude. I understand being busy but there is still a job to be done & customer service is part of that job. He didn’t tell me anything about a holding fee (which I knew there was going to be. Still should have disclosed it) but instead just charged my card. I also didn’t like that there’s no microwave. I feel for the cost & location of the hotel a microwave should have been in the room. My boyfriend went to the front desk to ask that same rude man if there was anywhere we could heat food & he told him no. Idk if that was him just not wanting to be helpful again, or if the hotel really didn’t have anywhere to heat food. Either instance is insane & kind of unacceptable & I would not book again for that reason

Proximity to the location we were going to was amazing, nice burger, joint with walking distance also their restaurants located at the hotel.

Check-in time is 4 PM, I had asked for an early check-in between 2 and 3 PM because we were coming from upstate and going to a concert. We had an Uber set up to pick us up at 5 PM. When I arrived, there was a lobby full of people which is to be expected because of everything that was going on this weekend. I got to the desk and it was approximately 340 Ish only to be told that they did not have any rooms available at all and we would have to wait in the lobby and put one became available The. We’re not sure when it would be available could be as soon as 20 minutes but as most as an hour and 20 minutes, which would put us over our check in time. The guy that has didn’t really seem to get her to him. He was busy. He hit a line of other people and just told us to go have a seat. Waited for approximately 40ish and then a room was available. When we first pulled up, I asked for parking was was towed. It was around the corner. I was not interested in walking around the corner after the drive. I saw the sign that said valet was $65. I confirmed with the person that it was $65 I remember saying how much is parking she said 65 and I jokingly said oh you could take the 65 right now And decided to valet. Upon receiving my email for checkout I saw that I was charged $80 for valet. When I went to the desk to clarify what happened the same lady was at the desk and I was like no I told you it was $80 which I knew for a fact, it was not what she told me and then her coworker was like 65 is for short term parking $80 is for long-term. I don’t understand Why nobody explain that and also if I am arriving at 3:40 and my checkout time is 11 AM the next morning why is one overnight visit not considered short term I would never agree to pay $80 to park no matter how tired I am, at that point we would’ve just unloaded and then I would’ve walked around the corner after our parking.

I liked how it was close to the event I was attending. Also, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was absolutely amazing.

Pool was closed early for fireworks so kids couldn't swim. Cold showers in the mornings.

Location is ideal and close to everything downtown. I went there for the Indycar Detroit GP and would happily stay next year.

The valet process wasn’t clear at first, but we eventually figured it out. The Applebees closed at 10… which seemed early for a Saturday evening.

The view was spectacular! Our room was very large, clean, and so quiet that we heard neither street noise nor noise from other guests.

That we couldn't have stayed longer!

Location was great as it was within walking distance to the conference we were attending. The hotel is newly renovated, so everything felt brand new!

The hotel and facilities were amazing. Have never experienced a hotel fitness center as nice as this one. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff was very nice and helpful with tips about navigating the city. Walking distance to Comerica, Ford Field, and Little Caesars Arena. Felt safe walking to all of these venues and for coffee and lunch throughout the day.

Wish the rooms had a microwave, but there was one available to use in the lobby. The fridge was also pretty small, made it tough to plan healthy meals.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, and the staff is my favorite part of the whole experience. They go above and beyond my expectations everytime!

How clean it was, how beautiful it was and how great the security is

I liked everything

The property was really clean, fresh and modern. The lobby was spacious lots of plants and seating and the rooms were spacious with great views of Detroit, the rooms were also super clean and very modern.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and my experience was outstanding on both occasions. The staff was courteous, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The hotel's connection to the people mover was an added bonus. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it. Awesome

What we didn't like has nothing to do with the hotel, but restaurants closed very early and made finding food 8:30pm or later difficult.

The hotel was excellent. The lady at the desk, she was very helpful. We wanted a joined room. She made that happen. Complementary water, the room was clean. It's been renovated, nicely, definitely coming back in December.

Applebee's, the restaurant connected to the hotel was disgusting. There was a nail in my son's burger. They took that off the bill and gave us a 20% off. That's not acceptable disgusting and can make people sick 😒 we're sure I'm not going back again.

The staff were amazing and kind and remembered us the very next day! This hotel is perfect for a stay in Detroit

The location was great to the restaurants and venue we went to (Little Caesars Arena). Staff were courteous and friendly. Room had a good view, bed was comfortable, spacious, it had a fridge

The lighting in the room could be better, a couple lamps in the room but for someone wanting to do makeup or my lashes in the main part of the room and not the bathroom, this is difficult to do. The toilet paper wasnt swapped out, but there was a new roll in the closet, and the thermostat on the wall wasnt easy for me to navigate but I figured it out. When you pull into the hotel the car/parking space is tight and valet is not a smooth process, cars are backed up into the street and to get your vehicle it can take awhile, more space is required

No breakfast available but nasty Applebees that gave weird breakfast sandwiches with hamburger buns. Barf

Location close to all the main attractions, staff was amazing Richard and Noah at the front desk were superb. Staff at the IHop/Applebees was very nice and helpful. It was just an overall amazing experience

The staff was friendly, the room was spacy, recently renovated, with a nice view. The hotel was situated perfectly for me, near the congress center and city center.

The room was not cleaned every day.

The property has a recently been refreshed. The hotel (especially bathroom) was spotless, the location was great directly across from the GM renaissance and rooms were very large and well laid out. Best part was every single hotel staff we saw was beyond friendly.

The staff was very welcoming, organized, friendly and professional. It felt like they all had very high standards.

The body wash dispenser was empty in the shower and I didn’t care for the lining on the walls in the shower, it felt like linoleum and not tile, which seemed like an odd and cost cutting choice.

Clean room, clean lobby, centrally located in the city

Romel was thorough, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. While I only stayed a night, the service he provided and the lovely room made me want to stay longer. I’m positive that I’ll be back. Wonderful experience.
