Paid for a room I didn’t get. Extremely unprofessional service from a manager. Horrible experience.

“I was not satisfied with the service quality and hygiene at the hotel I stayed in.”“I requested towels and slippers for two days, but they didn’t send them.”

The heritage and history was what attracted us. We did not mind the high cost of staying if it means preserving that. Also the staff were very attentive and courteous as would befit a classy hotel such as this.

We had extremely noisy neighbors, kept awake our entire second night due to the party and loud TV next door. Poor sound insulation is to blame here. It is an older hotel, but it seems that more could have been done to help insulate the rooms.

Parking too expensive

I enjoyed the room and cleanliness. I enjoyed the stay but could have been better. I enjoyed how large the hotel was with different rooms and event rooms.

I didn't like how the valet treated me or my wife. My car was pulled up but not in front and staff hurriedly gave me my keys without another word from them. Other guest doors were open for them but I felt like they wanted to get rid of us quickly. I didn't enjoy the breakfast because my steak said "breakfast potatoes" but we were given dam French fries. YeS French fries... The Rodeo bar lied to us and told us we had to pay our tab and the hotel would take it off our bill, THAT WAS A BOLD LIE! HONESTLY- I felt like this was not a hotel for African American people... 😕 sad but true. My money spends just as well but they made it feel like we didn't belong there. Would not recommend anyone nor my travelers from my agency.

Loved the room and front desk

I didn't like that Valet lost our car. My husband had to find it. When he did, he came and got me. Then we all went inside the parking garage. I slipped in the parking garage and broke my knee cap. I have to wear a brace for 8 weeks.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely something I wouldn’t expect to see in the middle of Dallas. The feel of the hotel makes you feel far away from home and enjoying a nice relaxing trip.

The location was good and lunch at the pool was fabulous!

Valet for car pick up was very congested, had to walk out in the rain, down the street to get our car.

They gave away our booking after reassure of us that a midnight check in following a concert in Dallas was absolutely fine. Even told us to “enjoy the concert and we will see you when you get here”. Arrived and was informed no rooms were available. Even worse, there was another couple that they did the same thing to. A young bride and groom arriving from their wedding and excited to spend their honeymoon night at The Adolphus that they had booked back in January!! As a wedding venue owner, this one really hit me HARD! Horrible customer service, horrible business ethics and horrible experience!!

Old and out-dated and in some areas, run-down. it was also seriously overpriced and absolutely not value for money. The hotel charged an additional compulsory $25 per day amenities charge adding $75 unanticipated dollars to my bill. additional hotel added 20% compulsory gratuity to every service. my simple manicure at the hotel spa cost $147.60. That’s simply crazy!!!!🤬

Great location! The staff was amazing!! Beautigul building..Girls trip here was a blast. Right across the street from ATT tower (tons of restaurant options) & close to AAC. Will definitely stay again!!

Great room and bar staff excellent. Porters and valets were phenomenal.

Front desk was terrible. Uniformed, sent me on a wild goose chase. Never called when room was ready, porter had to get someone from back office to man the reception, six people waiting.

The room was so quiet and clean. And the staff was so helpful, even the valet.

The room we had didn't have a view and there was nothing going on for New Year's when we were there. The rooftop was closed though we could go up there if we wanted.

The whole hotel is amazing! Historic, "haunted", beautiful, perfect!

Pillows weren't good. There were so many homless people out the area. It's a great, clean, historic area but the homeless/druggies were all around.

Beautiful hotel!

I was Staying overnight dealing with a two day delay to get home back to Atlanta. I checked in around 2 AM and checked out around 8 AM Unfortunately, the guest above me was making a tremendous amount of noise all night long as well as I was woken up by housekeeping very early in the morning, thinking the room was unoccupied.

The hotel is great but what I did not like is that when I first came, they took a deposit of $3900 and a bit more then they took another deposit of 4900 something dollars and they said it was by mistake. We will return the money back. They did return the money back but what I did not like when I first booked it through booking and I have an email confirmation that including taxes it was $3700 then they tell me the first amount with the deposit, which was 3900 is a mistake it should have been 4900 and they changed it in booking I said OK I didn’t agree but I was going to complain when I come back and booking all of a sudden they return the amount back the 4900 then they take it back again they’re missing up my financials with the difference of exchange rates I keep losing

Amazing hotel, rooms and service. So helpful and accomodating with requests and even got us a bottle of champagne and room upgrade. Could not recommend any higher!

Location was great.

Had to move rooms for the rattly fan in the AC. Same rattle in the new room. The window was not sealed and had to lean a heavy lamp in it to keep it closed. The towels were half the size required to wrap around a human and when held up to the light they were threadbare and holy. I expected a whole lot more from a supposed luxury hotel. We should have stayed at the airport with the free accommodation offered by the airline. Very unimpressive.

We needed one night to get some rest to continue our travel, and the the hotel was beautiful. The main escalators were out so we had to carry the baggage up the main stairs but not a big deal, The escalators are in the process of being repaired. The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The wood work was fascinating and unique, the books lining each room was a pleasant surprise and every area in the hotel lobby had a different theme. The Valet service was awesome, I left my cell phone in the care, and one of the fellows went up and retrieved it for me.

The pool was so crowded we did not get the opportunity to swim, it was very beautiful and the day was hot, so I am not surprised

Worst customer service paid for breakfast included but every time went to breakfast was told 45 minutes wait .. then on the last day went again was told 30 minutes wait even though restaurant was empty upon asking was told we don’t have anyone to clean tables so there is 30 minute wait .

Extra fees such as Valley parking and Amenities which we never use were added to our bill Making the cost of the hotel somewhat ridiculous

The location was nice

The price that you pay for what you get is ridiculous, the bathroom was dirty the sheets were stained and dirty. The counter top in the bathroom had dirt and stuff on it. The mirror in the bathroom was streaked with fingerprints. It was just grimy.

Loved the rooftop pool! The rooms were comfortable, classy and clean. Located in a perfect area. Definitely will be back!

I thought the bar drinks were a bit pricey, but tasty.

The bed was comfy but the pillows squished down to nothing. The room was clean and the staff friendly. The food was excellent albeit expensive.

The pillows squished down to nothing and not comfy. The valet forced open my key fob cover breaking it. The hotel did quickly compensate me.

The restaurants and lobby areas were beautiful, and the food was good.

It was overpriced for the quality of the room, the bathroom wasn’t fully clean, the floor was slick and coated in residue from some (hopefully) cleaning product in the bathroom and entry. The beds were hard, the pillows lumpy, and the tv didn’t work correctly.

The wedding venue my niece selected was beautiful. The banquet staff was awesome and attentive.

The elevator waits due to booking too closely with other events. Not getting my corner suite which wasn't ready at check-in.

Location! We watch the lighting of the Christmas tree from our room. Hotel was so fancy and staff were lovely

Nothing at all.

Friendliness of staff. In particular the Concierge members. Outstanding for their assistance, particularly by Tim Robertson and Dan. Dan drove us around the inner CBD attractions and followed the motorcade route of the fatal JFK visit to Dallas, stopping at various points to give a very informative commentary.

The escalators converted to stairs.

Great location downtown. The service was exceptional, professional. it is a beautiful older building with modern, large rooms. Complimentary bottle of wine was bought to our room which was a nice gesture. I can’t say enough about how kind and friendly the staff were!

in addition to the usual extra taxes, there was a fairly high parking/valet service. I had already tipped well for this service. Another facility fee was added for several little extras. We didn’t use any of them so that was a waste. I would still stay there again though.

A beautiful hotel in an excellent location with friendly staff.

This is such a fabulous experience, every staff member, every area was fantastic. Restaurant was amazing.

The only thing that could have been better was my length of stay, I wish I could have stayed for a month....

Your pool is beautiful but we were unable to use it because it was closed due to someone threatening to jump off the balcony at the building next door.. We enjoyed staying in your historic hotel! Next time we will take the historic tour. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet.

There were a lot of restaurants and eating options nearby, but no retail shopping. Also, the pool was closed while we were there so we didn't get to use your beautiful pool.
