Elysium Hotel Paphos, Cyprus

The hotel is beautifully designed, blending luxury with a serene atmosphere. Our room was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped, making it comfortable for a small family. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities added an extra layer of relaxation to our stay. One of the highlights was the dining experience. The food was exceptional, offering a variety of delicious options that catered to both adults and children. The breakfast spread, in particular, was extensive and well-prepared. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. The pool area was pristine, and the gardens were a delight to walk through. The staff went out of their way to make our daughter feel special, which we deeply appreciated. The location is also ideal for exploring Paphos, with historical sites and the coastline nearby. However, we found ourselves so content within the hotel that we rarely wanted to leave!

The hotel is very clean, so are the rooms. Service is very good and the hotel areas are nice and facilities available are very good.

The temperature of the room was high even if we turned off the heater. We were asked to open the window for fresh, cold air but it is not convenient when going to sleep especially when the room is at first floor. An option should be available to turn air-conditioning on when the room is hot.

as we notice the A/C is automatic cause we were not able to turn it on during night and the room it was more warm than the normal. since we where in the ground floor it was not safe to keep the window slightly open. On the reception they said we upgrade your room but we had a room with view the parking and a bit of the sea side 🤷🏻‍♀️ so i don’t know what kind of upgrade was. As a 5 start hotel you should provide toothbrush and toothpaste / hair brush

Food variety at the buffet on curving night, there was only one meat curving option, lamb. The rest, it was ok. Overall, I would expect better from a 45/euronper person at a 5 Star hotel.

An idyllic location with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Rooms are spacious with good bathrooms. There is a lovely pool and it is also possible to swim in the sea. The food is delicious with a great choice at every meal. Staff could not be more helpful. Special thanks to Marina in the restaurant who took such good care of us and embodies the absolute best in customer service.

Wonderful hotel! The atmosphere, architecture, staff and location all work in order to make your vacation as relaxing as possible.

Very beautiful location. Friendly and helpful in all departments. Facilities fantastic if a little overcrowded around poolside. Great cocktails! Really good lighting in bedroom; easy to operate.

Restaurants were too difficult to book and a little underwhelming. Restaurant staff need to relax a little and be on hand when needed rather than hovering over you all the time. Over enthusiastic to remove items before you finished with them. .Inside bar was completely soleless.

We loved everything about this hotel. It is luxurious, very clean, the customer service is exceptional, the food is lovely. It is very relaxing and accommodating.

Beautiful hotel! - The pool is great and large/ not crowded. - There are multiple restaurants with different cuisines, breakfast buffet had a lot of options and was very tasty. - The rooms were spacious and comfortable. - Excellent staff, very friendly. - The hotel is nicer and bigger than the pictures, i would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Only thing is that the beach has rocks in the front, so if you want to swim in the beach, the main access is from the middle. Other than that. It was exceptional and i would 100% come again.

A little old fashioned

Very nice resort. Lots of things to see within the resort as well. The pool was amazing. Lots of umbrellas and chairs. The room was spacious. Many restaurants to choose from for lunch or dinner. As well as sitting areas to have a drink or cocktail. Lovely welcome drink on arrival Breakfast was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful Location was good but you need a car.

Staff, cleanliness, food and attention to details

There is no scuba diving on site despite advertising the contrary on your platform and hotel plaques on site. Having spoken to the head of the diving school, they moved away from the hotel as not enough business a while ago. This should be clearly indicated at the time of the booking as it is misleading. Need to upgrade some of the fitness equipment and make the gym a little bit bigger for a 5 star hotel.

The food was exceptional. Staff were amazing. Location was great. Few minutes walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Beautiful coastal walks along a pathway which stretches for miles.

Great service by the hotel team. They did everything to make our stay great. Rooms are well equipped and the hotel is well maintained. Pool service and bar are great and so was the spa.

Airport shuttle could be nice.

Friendly and attentive staff particularly when handling requests for gluten and dairy free options. Beautifully heated pools and surrounding gardens. The building had an impressively grand interior design with great air conditioning.

Bedroom whilst very clean and comfortable often had a musty smell on entering. The Beach left a bit to be desired.

Breakfast was amazing - great selection and nothing too much trouble. Facilities were outstanding and every member of staff was really helpful.

Buffet restaurent in evenings, themes all seemed very similar and some food was not hot enough. Note staff did try to put this right and were constantly changing dishes out.

The hotel is fantastic!! Everything is done here in order the guests to feeling the most welcomed. Whoever came up with the idea of evening routine of making the bed and prepare the sleepers, is genius. This simple routine made me feel like a little kid while mom is taking care of me. Every single corner is super clean, there are lot of places where you can spend time alone or with your family. The hotel has a huge area, inside and outside pools and saunas. The gym is way better than in most hotels I have visited. A lot of great places to have dinner in 5 min walking distance. Recommended: The Farm house for food, the Irish pub for drinks. Thanks a lot for the stay!

True 5 star experience! This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at Elysium and every time we have been so impressed by the quality of the rooms and the service from the staff! Can’t wait to visit again in the future!

Everything was great. Excellent meals, friendly helpful staff, lovely spa, quiet rooms and a stunning sunset view.

The room with a lovely sea view is also right above the terrace where every evening they have music & singing until around 22:00. Windows helped dim the sound but not 100%. I'd still take the same room though. The à la carte dinner options are very pricey. You get a 'budget' of €25 per person, but that barely covers half the meal. Stick to the buffet dining room, it is excellent. The nearby beach is rocky and full of seaweed. Very photogenic, but disappointing if you want to take a dip or swim. There's a small bay with a pier that you can swim in, but not a proper beach.

The staff is unbelievably good and kind. Everywhere you look is someone with a smile and ready to help us. The breakfast is amazing, you have many choices. Everyone says that the pool is warm, but I don’t think so, it’s at a very comfortable temperature like the Caribbean Sea.

The air conditioning is the room wasn’t working properly. We tried reporting it 3 times. But never really got an answer of what was wrong. We got an apology at the end during the check out, but I expected a little more

We recently had the pleasure of returning to Elysium, and once again, our stay was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff who amazingly remembered us from our previous visit, which made us feel instantly at home. A special mention goes to Andreas, the meal supervisor, who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. He made particular efforts for our son, who has a severe dairy allergy, arranging for specially prepared meals to ensure his safety and comfort. This level of care and attention truly touched us. Additionally, the hotel staff surprised us with a beautiful birthday cake for our other son, celebrating his birthday. It was such a thoughtful touch, and the surprise cake waiting for us in our room was a delightful memory we’ll cherish. The hotel also accommodated our request to have our rooms together and even arranged for them to be joined, making our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. All in all, the staff's friendliness, attention to detail, and personal touches made this stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to return again!

The Elysium in Paphos deserves the 5-Star tag (cleanliness, grandeur, staff attentiveness, etc...). The overall setting and vibe is very laid back and relaxing (SUPER comfortable sunbeds with mini-pillows everywhere, 'private' beach access with breakwater structure, QR codes to call waiters at your sunbed, in-pool bar, etc...). We recommend going B&B and trying out the themed nights at the Epicurean Buffet on days not eating out. It isn't perfect if we're going very granular on specific points - but it is exceptional at a reasonable price (personally ranking it as a 'Wellness/Boutique Luxury' hotel, i.e., below Ultra Luxury but above simple Luxury).

The main brand needs to rework the user interface and functionality of the Stademos app. Front desk could be just 'a bit' more genuinely engaging/enthusiastic about making your stay special, since they are the first line of service of a hotel.

The property itself is really nice with a pleasant simple layout. Staff are extremely helpful at all times. Hotel offers various restaurants options for the eve which we tried and tested! All amazing setup with awesome food! Pool area is spread over different levels and taste! Loved it.

The facilities, location and grounds are just superb. The room size and general quality is of a high standard as is to be expected at the nightly rate in a 5 Star Hotel. Dinner was rather nice at the Mediterraneo Piazza watching the sun set across the water.

Breakfast is a bit of a let-down. I have had breakfasts all over the world, prepared for a continuous flow of many guests. This one does not cut it an seems such a pity when so much care is taken with everything else.
