Nicely designed hotel in an excellent location, on the beach and in the middle of town. I was surprised to be upgraded at check-in to a beautiful room with beautiful views and direct access to the pool and beach. As it was off season, while the hotel was very quiet, the staff were still very attentive. I had to check out early on my last day before the dining room opened, but the woman in charge of breakfast came in earlier than usual to prepare a quick snack for me and packed a takeaway bag for my travels. Truly exceeded any expectations. Thank you for your kindness.

As soon as you enter the hotel parking lot, you realize you've come to the right place. You are greeted at the entrance, your luggage is taken, and if you arrive earlier than check-in time, you are offered the opportunity to leave your luggage in a safe place and, in the meantime, be served a coffee. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. As for us, we had a big surprise because they gave us a free upgrade to the room we had booked. We enjoyed a superb view overlooking the sea and the possibility of sunbathing right on the terrace in front of the room. We were also fully satisfied with the variety of food at breakfast. I can say that it was a 3-day vacation that we will remember fondly for a long time to come.

The low ratings given on Booking by certain people without justification are completely untrue.

Very good buffet breakfast. Good location for local amenities. Very good all round Staff. Housekeeping very good.

The attitude of the Sommelier in the Fine Dining Restaurant who insisted a good LBV Port wine should be served chilled and in a wine glass. I complained to Management but received no response. Also the daily openings and closures of available restaurants were never announced. You had to enquire at Reception each day to find out which were open and to make a reservation which is not suitable for those on half board and planning their day ahead.

Beautiful hotel. Well located. Staff EXCELLENT. Room stunning. Service top notch. Breakfast fantastic. For a quick Mummy and daughter (plus dog) get away it FAR exceeded expectations. Absolutely top notch. Utterly flawless. Can't wait to come again.

I really can't think of a thing.

In summary we had a relaxing peaceful elegant rest. While landing at Larnaca from necessity, we decided that we should transfer to Paphos, to get the right mix of hotel quality and evening activities even though it's a long drive. good decision, even though we barely left the hotel because it was so lovely. We in retrospect could have taken the half board option because we ate all our meals in one of the Thanos hotels. Room. Relaxing, beautiful view, good size, loved the turn down in the evening. Should we have taken the kyrma garden room? No....we had same view and would have felt we needed to stay on the veranda all day. Instead we moved around during the day to follow the sun, ending up in the gorgeous spa for a relax. beautiful swimming pools. Regarding the hotel choice, after reading all the reviews we plumped for sea not mountain, and Almyra was the right choice for our relax-vaca. Anabelle I think caters to an older adult crowd and probably for kids because they have adult only spa at Almyra. Almyra looks and feels modern and was right for us. Annabelle more luxury in a detailed style. In both, staff are welcoming and kind. Also Anabelle is more of an H shape hotel, Almyra spread even meanders along the sea front. the staff were so kind and professional. breakfast to go at 0500 due to early checkout? no problem. car service booked for specific time? absolutely prompt. spa was fabulous, thank you Lizi.

I found the shower controls rather temperamental, but this was a minor issue.

Fabulous hotel, very clean, calm environment with the added bonus of the heated indoor and outdoor pools, gym and a spa, excellent sized rooms and fabulous breakfast choice

Plugs in the room were low so was difficult to use the kettle/coffee maker unless you moved the small table ..coffee/tea at breakfast was very slow

The pictures do not do it justice. The site is much larger than it would appear and the hotel has more pools and restaurants than the website or booking.com really displays effectively. Staff were great. A lovely relaxing place compared to the rest of the Paphos beach strip.

The buffet is way too expensive and had quite limited choice in the evening. It’s a shame as we would have eaten there if it was more reasonable as it’s a nice setting.

We (2 adults, 2 children) had a great week at the Almyra in Paphos and would highlight the following positives about the hotel: - The hotel is in a great location with access to the beach, restaurants, town, some beautiful walks, the waterpark - All the staff are super helpful and the service levels are exceptional. They even lent me cash for no charge to pay for taxis. - The breakfasts have excellent options and everything is clean and fresh (wish it was open till 1030am or later!) - The hotel is very clean and well looked after. It isn’t the newest but all amenities are good. - The pool areas are lovely and very comfortable We will definitely be returning soon.

The facilities are so good. Especially the pools and direct entry to the beach. Breakfast was also lovely

Amazing property with an excellent location. Staff amazing, food amazing, pools amazing. It’s a bit pricey but I think it was totally worth it if you’re looking for a chill vacation.

The pool area is a bit underwhelming for kids, not much in the way of entertainment for kids, most of the rooms even sea view don’t have a balcony, kids playground needs some repairs done to it as lots of it not useable

Very spacious room, comfortable, staff was lovely. we were staying to celebrate my partners birthday and the hotel provided a complementary cake

Furniture could do with an update and slightly expensive but this is not negative enough to stop us from returning. We will be booking again.

Brilliant service especially from the waitresses and waiters at breakfast and dinner buffet. Excellent breakfast buffet, especially the fresh waffles and egg station. Lovely resident cats. The pool set up works very well, with the baby and family pool with bed loungers and plenty of shade, and the adult only pool being very quiet and calm. Brilliant hotel design with great sea views, private from the board walk, and lots of greenery and step-free paths for pushing a pram around. House keeping kept the rooms lovely and tidy, and provided everything needed for a baby - cot, steriliser, sheets, and even little towel robe and slippers. Excellent location with access to the boardwalk, sea swimming and short walk to the archeological site. Will be returning.

Position of the hotel and staff

we received excellent service, all the staff are very nice and happy. The view is amazing, the rooms are gorgeous and equipped, the pool is right on the sea, the hotel is close to everything, highly recommended! A personal thank you to Christopher from the reception and to Panos who took care of us, and to milen who were really kind.

Hotel manager and reception staff were extremely helpful. Room as described. Location had phenomenal view and is close to everything within walking distance. Breakfast covered all the varieties you can think of. Choices of indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast staff who stood out was the super women Eleni. She attended to everyone and was on top of her game. Endless choices of restaurants at the hotel and around the area. The spa was certainly unforgettable.

The fact that there is kosher breakfast! We didn’t know in advance and it was a big plus. Also how close it is to the beach and the activities like jet ski and snorkeling. The pools were great and the staff was amazing. We had 2 twin beds that they attached and we mentioned to them that it’s not the best for us so they added a topper and it was excellent. Also! AMAZING view!!

The hotel building itself is a bit old but it doesn’t make a problem. But the issue I had was with the Wi-Fi, the intervener want very good and stable and I found myself unknowingly wasting my esim when I could use the Wi-Fi in the room that disconnected. Also i found it Hard to keep up with some work I had brought with me because of the internet issues. (Well but then I had to vacation for real so great 😄). Also something weird about their sheets - they’re clean and well but they seem like “undersheets” they look like something I’d put under my sheets to protect them before I put the “real” sheets.

The breakfast was very good. The location is amazing! The facility is very beautiful. The staff is very professional, kind and helpful.

We reserved a land view room with terrace. At first we got a kid’s club facing room that was sewerage smelling. We reached out to the receptionist and they immediately changed our room to a garden facing room. Besides having an interconnecting door, it was really good. The air conditioning could have been quieter though.

Excellent location just a short walk from Paphos harbour with lots of restaurants etc. Professional efficient staff. Fantastic pools with comfortable sun beds overlooking the bay. Easy, free parking. Breakfast was extremely well organised with a delicious choice of cooked and cold food. The gardens and surrounding areas were very well maintained. We loved our ground floor patio area overlooking the gardens 😍

We recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate a special occasion, and overall, I was quite pleased with the experience. The staff was exceptionally attentive, making our stay feel even more special. The hotel offers convenient parking, which was a big plus for us. You can tell the building is quite old, but it has been recently renovated, so the interior feels fresh and updated. We also loved the fact that there are several pools, all with warm water, which made swimming enjoyable even on cooler days.

However, there were a few things that impacted our experience. It was incredibly frustrating that some guests would reserve sunbeds with their towels and then disappear for breakfast, making it difficult to find a spot by the pool. Speaking of breakfast, unfortunately, it was the biggest letdown. While there was a variety of food available, none of it was particularly tasty. The omelets, in particular, were cooked with so much oil that they became almost inedible.

The friendly staff and location are excellent. Also the food and rooms are what I’d expect and more. It has an excellent kids club and the prices are very good.

Absolutely beautiful property, very well maintained, extremely clean. The rooms were spacious and lovely, the view incredible. We and the kids loved the pools, the playground, the proximity to the beach, the breakfast. The spa is also wonderful, has a great massage there..

We had a bit of noise from a yacht on the beach a few of the nights... But not sure the hotel can do much to combat that

On our last day it was annoying that the adults only pool area was closed for a private event. This was the main reason we chose this hotel

Rooms are fine but not worth the price range. Breakfast is full of nutrition and quite comfortable choosing, but the menu is nothing new, the time there is quite long but the breakfast menu is almost unchanged. In terms of location, it is too great and convenient.

It is just a general manager attitude that is slightly irresponsible and lack of enthusiasm when guests reported to lose things.

Very clean, great hotel facilities and good food

For a couple we got a room with a separate bed and our children got a double bed.

The room was good with a nice sea view, we booked a connected room. the only issue is that was no balcony on our room

I think prices abit too high for Cyprus and for a family hotel , beside the quality of the bedsheets, pillows and bed covers are not soo good. I think the hotel need some more bed decorations as velvet pillows and runners on bed

The location is so amazing, you can see the Paphos harbour castle from the adult only infinity pool (which is also great). There are plenty of pools for anyone who needs them and the sea is right there. Fabulous!

For me the rooms were a bit too bland but the shower was great, the bed was really comfortable and the usb points were a proper bonus so I was happy!

The room is comfortable and tidy, the bathroom is wide and comfortable enough.. the staff is very kind and the service is excellent. I like the pool it’s very clean and wide.. the sea view is amazing..

Breakfast was excellent and covered a wide range of food dealing with various visitors from different countries.

Amazing stuff, great location, best hotel!

The staff were all very kind. Excellent food. The spa is also excellent and the kids club was fun every day. The kids club is worth paying for because the staff separate the kids into age groups and teach them different things every day. The teaching staff plan the days very well in advance. There are plenty of healthy food options for the kids. Mel and Rose made my daughter feel very welcome at the kids club and the additional kids parties in the evening were excellent. The breakfast staff like Mila are very kind and attentive. The hotel location is excellent, you can just walk along the harbour pier to different restaurants if you want to get out in the heat. Lastly the spa is very well done, the therapists are highly trained degree holders etc. the sauna is properly hot and there is a great place for the kids to relax. There is a tiny beach at the front of the hotel which allows you to swim in the sea but the pools are salt water anyway.
