Friendly staff Clean Breakfast was good - lots of options Good location. 5 mins from nearest metro. 5mins to train station. Walking distance to other attractions.

The only downfall were the pillows And the city hall clock which goes off every 15mins from morning to midnight

Room was very tiny and difficult for us to have 2 cases open without tripping over things. Having the basin in the bedroom was difficult with two people - better in the bathroom.

The hotel is in an ideal location and a short walk to so many activities and attractions close by. The free wine hour and night cap hour were great! Our room had everything we needed and was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We could store our bags on our last day with no problems. We didn’t try the breakfast but liked how guests could avail of free coffee each morning before 11am. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at hotel danmark!!

Perfect location close to train station and the main shopping streets, with nearby bus stop to the islands. Spacious room, great bathroom, staff really friendly and the free wine hour / tipples were a great added bonus! Would stay again!

The bedroom area was very dark, cosy, but difficult to see when getting ready in the morning.

Excellent location, room with a view of Christianborg palace. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Hotel happy hour in the lobby was a very nice way to end the day with other travelers. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Not sure why glass bathroom doors have become fashionable in hotels, it's not a very dignified experience. Breakfast was good but expensive, and with limited hot food options. Gym was reasonably well equipped, but quite small, and a little difficult to access(my room card didn't give access, had to ask staff for assistance).

The location is nice! Close to the metro and it’s walking distance to the train station and the walking street, Strøget. We booked one more night, it was cozy! :-)

Comfy beds. Great location, close to station and all the main attractions. Very friendly staff. Happy hour drinks a nice touch.

the room is basic and compact, (with the bed wedged in, it is difficult for two people to get in or out)

Very noisy, we could hear what everyone said when passing by our room. The staff at reception is not friendly or warm. The room is small and not very warm. Personally we couldn't feel the famous hygge mood of Copenhagen.

Staff was really friendly and helpful Loved the nightcap at 22.00 Breakfast was good but coffee not so much We didnt spend too much time in the room, it was comfortable enough for sleep and shower but the main bonus was the location so we forgave any other small issues we had.

We asked for separate beds but in our room the beds were still pushed together so we had to move them ourselves. We could hear everything from the corridor and from the room upstairs or next to us we heard someone elses morning alarm, it was really strange experience. No small fridge in the room

Cosy and friendly atmosphere

Very central to all attractions. 8 minute walk from train station and close to bus stops. Staff very helpful and loved the complimentary wine and night cap hour.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem in the heart of Copenhagen. While it was smaller than I anticipated, the minimalist design truly enhanced the experience, especially with the stunning sunset view from my sixth-floor window and the comfort of the bed. If you don't require much space, I would say it's ideal! However, I found it inconvenient that I had no place to open my small hand trolley, which had to remain on the floor in the middle of the room - quite odd. Although I travel light, I can't manage with just a small rucksack on a business trip! Aside from that, the staff were friendly and eager to assist. The breakfast was excellent, featuring amazing smoothies and perfect espresso! Everything else was a delightful bonus: tasty and organic options with something for everyone, unless you're looking for luxury, which contradicts the minimalist style. The design, in black and white, was appealing, and I really appreciated the unique character of the place - definitely different from a typical hotel!

A small luggage rack that can be unfolded or folded back would be a great addition! Additionally, it could be a bit warmer during this chilly winter... but overall, it was fine!

Our bathroom was very very small. The sink was in our bedroom. Not the bathroom.

The Danmark is centrally located, we were able to walk to all the sightseeing sites and more. The staff are friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The wine hour and evening tipple meant we met with other guests and shared our experience and enjoyed socialising in the cosy bar area.

The rooms were slightly smaller than expected. However, this was not a problem on a city break. We were out all day exploring Copenhagen.

Bathroom in the room was too small

Central location. Easy access on foot to attractions such as Tivoli and the harbour. The breakfast was delicious. Free drinks in the bar was a nice bonus!

The hotel would benefit from some sound proofing from outside noise.

Bedroom very good, comfortable bed and good sound proofing, with no noise from the street. The bathroom was very small and not that well laid out, the shower was too close to the toilet therefore the floor always wet.

The location was superb for getting around the city. The train station was a short walk away as was the town centre, Tivoli gardens and museums. The room we ended up in was simply lovely. Light, clean and a great view. We watched the Xmas fireworks at Tivoli Gardens from there. We went to the hotel roof terrace to watch them the second night. The staff were all so helpful and friendly, and of course EVERYONE spoke English right down to bus drivers and cleaners. The hotel offered advice on how to get around the city and where to go. Breakfast was lovely too. Lots of choice and really attentive staff. nothing was too much trouble. The Happy Hour at 5-6pm for wine and again at 10-11.00pm for nightcaps was just brilliant. Thank you Hotel Danmark for being so generous and making it such a great stay.

The room we originally booked was a little too snug for us (we chose it) but the staff moved us to a larger room with no fuss. We did have to pay a very reasonable upgrade for it but it was well worth it. The breakfast was so good that it was a shame there was no evening meal available. But it did mean we found some nice places to eat really close by.

Room turned out to be smaller than I expected, bathroom only had a shower curtain so the floor would get wet in the whole bathroom after the shower, not the nicest experience. Breakfast selection was also really limited, not worth the price.

Breakfast was very good, location was excellent, cleanliness was good. Room was clean, staff friendly, yet bathroom was not designed well. You have to shower next to the WC which is very inconvenient, and we could not shower 2 days of the 3 days just for this. Wine hours were a nice touch. Sheila from reception was very professional and helpful, she deserves a recognition.

The location is perfect, the breakfast and the 2 happy hours window with free drinks were a plus that we weren’t expecting.

There is no shower box in the bathroom so every time we took a shower the bathroom gets wet. Apart from that the daily cleaner wasn’t that thoughtful

Great location, very central. Breakfast was excellent, especially the bread. Hotel and rooms have character and were very comfortable.

Room servicing could be a little better, like replenishing tea and coffee every day.

Excellent location, close to everything, close to the metro.

Very strange room. First of all, contrary to the promise on booking, there was no closet in the room. In addition, what is most strange is that the sink is not in the shower room but in the bedroom, it is really strange. The room is beautifully decorated but really small. We asked to move room, they promised us that they would move us at another time when a room became available, but in the end it did not happen.

Great location and friendly staff. The room was not too big, but did feature two separate beds which was great. Fairly quiet despite being in the middle of the city. Breakfast was much better than expected with a lot of choice (and prosecco on a Monday morning!), and we enjoyed the complimentary happy hour which was a welcome break between sightseeing and dinner in the evening. Unfortunately, we had to miss out on the night cap :-)

The frosted glass door on the bathroom door is a little intimidating, and it was inconvenient not to be able to wash your hands before leaving the bathroom.

The hotel.is in a great location and the staff were really attentive. The little added extras, like the free drinks are a plus too.

There wasn't much to dislike but if I was to book again, and I definitley would, I would book a larger room as the smaller rooms are very compact.

The room we had was extremely small and the beds very hard, so didn’t sleep well. Ive stayed in other 4* hotels in Europe for the same cost and found them to be better value for money in terms of comfort.

Hotel staff were exemplary, very helpful and friendly (without being over-familiar). The room was clean - having Netflix available was excellent. The 'drinks' was not something we took particular advantage of, but it is a lovely idea. the location is excellent too - lots to enjoy!

The room was basic - quiet within the hotel, not quiet with a window ajar as it was at the front of the building. Breakfast was disappointing - rather basic and poor value for money. More options - coffee and tea alternatives, pastries, orange juice, fruit at least, ideally a hot food option (or lower the rate) etc

Location was great. The initial staff was wonderful. Then the other staff arrived and they were re not as helpful. Breakfast was good too.

The bed was very hard but they did bring extra padding after tgec1st night.

The hotel was expensive for what it was, and there were quite a few big steps down to the room, which could have been difficult for some people. The shower was over the bath and flooded the floor every time you used it, which was a bit annoying.
