The team is really kind, friendly and helpful. The location is also really great.

There are no curtains on the beds, which I find unusual for a hostel. The shower and the toilet are really small. Also there is no real common area. No place to sit and chat or work (no sockets).

Pillows are not comfortable, even in an en suit twin room no hangers for the clothes, can only sit down on a bed (two small and not really comfortable stools)

Really can’t think of anything

This is our second stay in a Generator hotel and we are quite pleased with the value for money ratio. Our room was on the last floor, so it was quiet and away from the shared facilities. The location is perfect - very close to all main attractions in Copenhagen - we basically didn't use any transportation at all.

The elevator is extremely slow, very annoying. As we were staying on the sixth floor we were always using the stairs going down, but not always nice going up, especially fully dressed in your winter clothes. Not sure why, but both my husband and I had back problems from the bed, although the mattress seemed quite solid.

Very lively accommodation which is fun. The rooms are basic. But it’s just somewhere to sleep. The location is excellent. The staff are lovely and helpful.

You see dust all over the room. Head towel was missing. If you need this, you need to pay. Bathroom was very small. There are limitations on channels on TV. You cannot watch channels other than Danish.

Easy check in and checkout. Also, the bed was comfortable and clean. It has a great location close to the restaurant, cafeteria and supermarket. It was near to the subway to go to the airport.

I needed to rent a towels, and buy the soap and shampoo. The room could be more clean, I mean for the toilet and floor, but of course depends of the people in the same room.

The location of the hotel was excellent, ideal center, 5 min walking distance from everything. The room was not very big, but compared to those in London and Paris, at least you can go to the bed.

I didn't like that there was not a single locker or wardrobe to put your things in. The bathroom also lacked a locker, at least for toothbrushes.

Room was tiny, to the point of uninhabitable

Great central location, you can walk pretty much anywhere and explore the main sights of the city on foot. The room was big enough (for Copenhagen standards), the bed is comfy and there are plenty of power outlets to charge your electronics. Check in and out was smooth, the staff was smiling and kind. All in all it’s a great value accommodation, I recommend it for a short stay and I’d come back again myself.

The bathroom gets soaked after taking a shower, a mop or something would be great to clean up the floor and make it dry faster.

Great for the price, very clean, very friendly staff. There are fun activities in the hostel such as games and parties. Perfect location - 15 min walk from most of the popular places in town. It is very close to the metro and food places.

Everything was good for the price

Staff were friendly and helpful. The terrace and bar area were nice. My room was cosy and met my expectations.

There was no kettle in my room for hot drinks, thus had to use the bar to get a hot drink and prices for drinks were a little high.

Perfect location, easy to find city sightseeing and visiting the famous places; near supermarket, near metro. If you like hostels live and style, this’ll be good

Dirty, a lot of dust, small room, a problems with sink; one towel per person per stay! Second towel we got only for last night! Room was cleaned (including trash bin, but excluding floor) only one time and it was after three nights before check out (for last night). First night was very cold in room-problems with heating and windows. Radiator near wall and it was blocked by bed; street noise in the room; expensive for hostel and for the quality that we had

Perfect location, near the harbour where the beautiful coloured houses are. Really nice stuff, they answered all my questions with a smile. Would totally go back and also recomend!

The location is spot on—right in the city center, so we didn’t need public transport at all. It’s also perfect for going out at night, with everything just a short walk away. Breakfast would be better if it was à la carte since it gives more value for the money. They also have gluten-free options, which is a nice plus. The staff is super friendly, making the stay even better!

Unfortunately, the bed wasn’t great, and the pillows weren’t comfortable either. We also had an issue with the shower—the water didn’t drain properly, so we had to take really quick showers to avoid flooding the bathroom or even the bedroom.

The service and variety of events. Love the service provided by Bela, the way she received me In Generator Hotel and the city suggestion she gave me made my stay amazing! Coming back for sure!

Buidling is old. Value for money NO, Bed is hard. Bathroom smell of leaking drainage. Toilet smell pee. There should be signage for Elevator. Only signage is Exit. Clean better.

Location was excellent. The room was good, sufficient for our 3 night stay. We were 3 in a private 4-bunk room

The sink was in the main room, not in the shower room or toilet. There was a shelf above it which made it awkward to use and water splashed out onto the floor - but this is a minor thing - and would not stop us from us the hostel again. We had to hire towels which were not good quality.

It was not as noisy as we thought it would be. We got a room om the top floor so it was very private. The elevator was slow at times, but over all we had a great stay. Location is unbeatable and the self checking in/out was convenient.

Location was excellent, having lockers there to rent for a small fee was really helpful for both arrival and departure, room was a decent size with plenty of storage. Although we didn’t use many of the facilities, there were lots of games and activities going on which would be good if you were looking to make friends.

There were some stains on our towels, the bed wasn’t super comfortable and there was a dip in the middle where I believe they were two mattresses pushed together. It was clean enough but not spotless. Unfortunately some other guests did knock on our door a couple of times late at night and run away laughing but that isn’t the fault of the hotel itself. Breakfast wasn’t excellent, my partner ordered scrambled egg and bacon, and the ratio was pretty poor.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The price-performance balance was quite good. Although our room was a bit small, the bed was comfortable and provided a restful sleep :) However, as someone who only drinks cold water, the lack of a refrigerator in the room was a bit inconvenient for me… One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the restaurant downstairs—it was simply amazing! Every meal I had there was the best of its kind. And you have 15% discount as guest ☺️ But above all, what I truly fell in love with was the location. It is perfectly situated for exploring the city, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

There is no kitchen. It is a normal for most hostel to have a basic kitchen or microwave. But this one don't have. I bought some food and eggs, prepare to heat up for my dinner/ supper. I ended up to throw away all my fresh food.
