A real value for the location if you have a dog. No doorman or bell hops, so getting luggage in the door and to your room is a bit hard. It is an important historic building. Renovated, not completely gutted, so doesn't sparkle like a 5 star, but clean and comfortable. Big windows.

Absolutely rot-gut keurig coffee. Undrinkable. And restaurant does not open early. Walked to 24-hour Dunkin Donuts in the dark cold.

We had a really welcoming reception from Cassandra Marshay after a very long journey. It is a really nice experience to be greeted by a warm and friendly smile. Thank you Cassandra. From Mr and Mrs Gray from Spain x The water bottle is a fantastic idea and as we stayed twice we got two!

Not convinced about the 2 quilts. We like to snuggle but got too hot 🔥🥵 The second room we had was quite narrow and we both caught our knees on the edge of the bed.

Very friendly staff all throughout. The water bar in the lobby was great. Welcome drinks were really nice.

The hotel was advertised with parking possibilities, which was not the case. There was only a valet service. Hotel restaurant and bar were fully packed and we had to find some other place for dinner.

Location! Staff! Room! Vibe! Sorry, I'll stop with the exclamation marks now. Seriously, this place is a gem. It's really close to two subway/CTA stations, it's in the heart of downtown Chicago, the staff were just lovely, and the whole atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I loved all the little touches that made the stay a little bit extra; the free reusable water bottle, the water station in the lobby, Dash, the Pineapples Pup, the individual duvets etc. I would recommend Staypineapple to anyone. On a side note, as a solo traveller, I felt very safe in this hotel.

We had a room on the third floor and the view wasn’t great, but the room was fine, great shower, a fridge. Breakfast was excellent (paid for separately). The location is incredible, close to everything.

Would’ve liked a top floor room for the view.

Room could have been cleaner. There were crumbs on the floor and dust in some areas that was very visible.

The staff was very professional and attentive. The front desk clerk ( Cassandra) was outstanding. The location was perfect. We were right in the heart of everything. The whole experience was amazing. This was our first time in Chicago and the city was fabulous. Thank you to the entire staff.

The staff was incredably nice and helpful, the room was very nice it had everything we needed and more. The Bed was the best !! It was so comfortable ,made me wanna cuddle in bed all day. The location was superb, we were in walking distance of almost everything and it was not to busy.

The restaurant was a little expansive but very nice staff and good food. The lighting in the room could have been a little better, we only had the night lights in the main area in our room. The shower was a little powerless took forever to wash my hair.

Stay Pineapple was right across the street from the entrance to the Blue line train that goes out to Ohare airport. Easy to get to and then you are in the heart of the loop. It's a beautiful old building and we were greeted well and given a complementary drink in the nice bar/restaurant downstairs as well as a cookie; pineapple of course!!

The location is perfect for us, we use the El to go to the airport and the Washington Blue Line stop is a block away. Also the hotel is in the center of the theater district.

We loved the location , view, and pineapple theme! The bed with duvet was amazingly comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet with a good restaurant downstairs.

Can’t think of anything

Perfect location right inside the Loop - can walk to everything. Excellent styling, very nicely decorated and featuring the old bones of the building. Staff were really friendly. Free water bottle and access to water fountain in lobby with cold, hot and sparkling water. Very comfy beds and bedding.

Wi-Fi was very difficult. Could never get connected and ended up giving up.

The staff was fantastic. The front desk employees were extremely helpful and they recommended some fantastic places to visit for first time visitors in Chicago.

The toilets. They're low and outdated. Maybe switch them to a raised and elongated type.

Location is ideal. My room was pretty spacious and with a nice view. The bed was really confortable. Staff was really nice. Loved the complementary cookies offered. The food and drinks at the restaurant are really good. Prices are really affordable, will definitely go back !

The employees were exception! Friendly, professional and real. The facilities themselves showed some signs of wear, but I think housekeeping did a good job at keeping things clean. The bedding at this chain is always perfection!

The facilities showed signs of wear like the shower, furniture etc. It’s clear it’s been a while since they’ve invested in that kind of upkeep.

Comfy bed and pillows. Water pressure and temperature in shower was awesome.

The location is great. Near everything you need. The metro station is a couple of minutes away.

It was perfect - exceeded our expectations. The staff when we checked in were so warm and friendly! When we had come to Chicago in the past we had stayed at a lovely hotel - the Ambassador - in the Gold Coast that a friend's brother had recommended. We were going to see Hamilton and wanted to stay closer to the theater so we looked and found Stay Pineapple on Booking. I loved the historic look of the building and its proximity to the theater and art museum. The beds looked tempting and they were - again exceeded our expectations so comfy. It was a perfectly lovely stay.
