Cape Heritage Hotel, Cape Town

A superbly restored historical building! A wonderful blend of old and new. My room was huge and very comfortable, the staff very helpful. Breakfast was delicious!

The hotel is in the heart of Cape Town, a great location. But there was noise from outside until about midnight.

My wife and I were greeted by a compliment of smiling and helpful front of house staff members. Check-in was immediate and we were escorted to our beautiful room. Everything was spotless, clean linen, fresh towels and possibly the largest bathroom ever. It was our wedding anniversary and the Cape Heritage Hotel gifted us a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate. Breakfast the following day was a lovely buffet and an extended menu where I had a scrumptuous Spanish omellette. A huge thank you to everyone for an amazing stay. Next time will definitely be an extended stay.

The city can get quite loud in the late evening. Perhaps an extra layer of window glass will dull the acoustics of the sound on the street level below.
We felt very unsafe walking towards Green Market Square 2 roads away after dinner, and immediately turned back, yet was totally safe going to the restaurants around us in the square and across the road.

Incredible hotel. Unique, historic with tons of character. Fabulous breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff make you feel welcome and do everything to insure your visit is perfect. Every room is different and uniquely designed. Huge room! Comfortable bed. Great location for sightseeing. Lots of security guys on the street to deter crimes. Never had a problem. Even on the First Thursday event right at the hotel and streets surrounding.
Stairs up to a rooftop jacuzzi and area to have a little view. Just two blocks from the Hop-on; Hop-off bust office. Fabulous way to see Cape Town. Get the three day pass and do it all. Best HOHO we’ve ever done.

No elevators. Only stairs to get to the front door and up to the rooms.

Really lovely hotel in the center. The staff was super helpful, rooms were very nice, nothing to complain about. Visit the Bouchon Bistro near by.

Our bathroom was the most luxurious bathroom I’ve ever had, the bath tub and dual showers were incredible. Staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and the hot breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had.

The only thing I could think of was needing an iron in the rooms, which when requested took too long to arrive and I had to leave (a very trivial issue)

Beautiful period building, located close to many good bars and restaurants on Bree Street. The staff were fantastic, and very hospitable. Will be staying there again.

Our room was quite dark just due to the white privacy netting being connected to the main curtains.

We had a room where we heard the thumping beat of a nearby nightclub until 4am. Fortunately, the staff moved us to quiet room for next couple of nights.

Outstanding boutique hotel in a very pleasant and central part of Cape Town, surrounded by excellent restaurants and cafés. Staff consistently went out of their way to be helpful. Rooms are tastefully designed and in very good condition.

This property was beautiful and very clean. The staff were friendly and very responsive to every request. It is located in the CBD, so lots of restaurants and bars around. Also quick rides to the beaches and other attractions.

There are quite a few staircases. I'm not certain that it can accommodate individuals with mobility challenges.

We stopped at this hotel for the First Thursday Art Walk. The room was HUGE and the staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The Wi-Fi was great and the hotel art was amazing!

Superb location. Close to a safe car park, where the staff came and met me and carried my bags on arrival, close to some great restaurants and a lively scene. Superb hotel, boutique, great and unique decor, lovely room, comfy bed, and a wonderful breakfast. The staff were fabulous, always on hand and always smily and helpful. Whole heartedly recommend this as a perfect place to stay a few days in Cape Town.

I didn't give full marks for location as I wanted the waterfront. I'm pretty sure I put watefront in the criteria. This is in a greate location, but not for this visit.

We had a very spacious room with a huge bathroom with double sinks. There was a lovely lounge with lots of books to read. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast courtyard was charming and the breakfast was delicious. Communication online was excellent. High quality bed linen.

The location of the hotel was superb, right in the heart of the bars and restaurants. The hotel itself was charming and very comfortable, huge bed and very comfy. A little gem of an internal courtyard and breakfast was really good, juice and coffee / tea was refillable. The staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive throughout. They could not have been more helpful, accommodated a later check out on departure & would have offered a shower room if not. Superb!
