Guesthouse La Grenadine, Cape Town

Maxime is the perfect host. His hotel felt like home, such a good feeling after a 12 hour flight. He combines an amazing attention to detail with a very relaxed vibe. Very friendly and caring too.

Breakfast was excellent and Maxime was a fantastic host, he made our stay enjoyable and easy going. The room was large and airy, with everything we needed.

we loved the warm welcome , quiet courtyard full of pomegranate trees and cosy nooks to sit and enjoy the dappled shade before venturing out in to the city again . The kids were welcomed with open arms and loved playing in the secret space. The beds were beautifully made with lovely linen.

An oasis in the middle of Capetown. Beautifully decorated retro French farm house style. Lot of charm with beautiful gardens with fruit trees and herbs, where you have breakfast or just relax. The owner/host made us feel at home. No tv's in room, but there is one in the living room.

An utterly charming experience in a beautifully created space. Lovely hospitality- thank you Natasha, Rhudo and Ulama - and great breakfasts and afternoon teas. It all felt a little like a set from a romantic movie. Excellent location and dark and peaceful at night despite being in the middle of everything.

Parking is cramped and neighbouring property had loose shutters banging in the wind early in the morning. But nothing that cannot be fixed.

Our room was close to reception room and loud voiced guests arriving at midnight woke us up. Maybe should have been asked to dial it down?

We had the best time staying in La Grenadine! everything was absolutely impeccable - from the lovely staff to the well designed room, the tasty breakfast and the prime location . we felt like home from the very first moment - highly recommended!!! ❤️❤️❤️

We absolutely loved the quaint garden setting of the La Grenadine. It was a little green oasis tucked away in the city. Our room was beautifully decorated and I loved the attention to detail - from the hand illustrated welcome book to the beautifully branded soaps and shampoos in the bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay at La Grenadine. Maxime is a great host, he made us feel right at home! The interior design is very tasteful, there's also a lovely garden. Sumptuous and delicious breakfeast (no nonsense here). Will most definitely come back. Merci beaucoup!

A quirky little haven amid the bustle of Cape Town. Loads of character. The breakfasts are the best!

Shabby chic... it's quirky and fun, but the dripping wash basin in one of the bedrooms is not quite what you'd expect for the price.

La grenadine was an oasis of peace and tranquility in the business of kloof street. Loved the interior the rooms.

We wanted to go to bed on friday quite early and there was a lot of music from the neighbouring cafe. But fortunately it didnt last all night

Very quaint hotel in the middle of Cape Town. As soon as you enter the property through the lovely garden, there's a quiet and calm atmosphere, as if you were in the country side. Super lovely owners/staff and great breakfast to start your morning right in between the pomegranate trees.

Our room was lovely decorated and divided, the fan was just not working that well (not that much strength due to the high ceiling) so the nights were very hot, with sweaty mornings to wake up to.

Everything! It was perfect! Very cool interior and the staff is so friendly! Will definitely go back. Already missing it.

The host was super friendly and welcoming. He gave us tips. Was always up for a chat. Prepared the most delicious breakfast. The room was excellent. The bath was great after a tough hike. Bed was super comfortable. All clean, neat, well designed. Great eye for detail!!

the property is located in the perfect park of town, rooms are large and bright and breakfast was fantastic.

The host was so cool, warm and friendly. The rooms quiet, pretty, beautifully decorated and contemporary, hidden in a vibrant part of the city.

The parking situation if I must say - but because of other quests or neighbors taking up the spaces. Other than this I felt safe and welcome.
