the whole experience was amazing starting with the location , room , amazing staff and breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the hotel. The staff was very accommodating ( Eyten and Mathew and all the rest )

Being a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member, as soon as I arrived, they offered me the presidential suite upgrade. Incredibly room with a beautiful view of the Nile River. Location was excellent, located right in front of the Egyptian Museum and lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The staff were as kind and helpful as can be.

I did not get any points on my Marriott Bonvoy membership because I booked through Booking.com and not directly with Marriott. You guys should offer customers the ability to add our membership numbers when booking otherwise, next time I'll book with Bonvoy directly so I can get my points.

Everything about our stay was incredible. We were picked up from the airport in a Mercedes E-Class, setting the tone for a true 5-star experience. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. We were given a personal tour of the property while our luggage was taken straight to our room. When we walked in, the view took our breath away—absolutely 10/10. The room itself was beautifully furnished with luxurious décor. Our days by the pool were superb. We loved the cocktails, the service, and the relaxing atmosphere. The food throughout our stay was exceptional; every meal made us feel like we were in another world. We honestly didn’t want our stay to end because we enjoyed it so much. We highly recommend staying here—everything was absolutely faultless. Thank you.

The concierge charges for the shuttle service—both from the airport and for in-city visits—were unfairly high. I paid approximately $290 for two Toyota Hiace vans, which is about eight times more expensive than the normal airport taxi fare.

Restaurants were not clean, not only table but also cutlery and dishes.... they seemed to have a shortage of cups, glasses... service level far below a 5 star hotel....

Hidden extra charges at check in. Honestly, I’ve stayed in many 5 star hotels but this seems unethical. If a guest has confirmed a rate on booking.com. Why does this hotel not honor the rate. Upon check in, you receive the shock that the amount quoted, is no the full amount. When I questioned the reception, all he said was, that ‘ additional charges may apply’. I should have just left the hotel & went elsewhere but after a long flight, you just so tired & just want to rest. This type of scam just reflects poorly on the brand name. Why can’t the hotel just be upfront about the rate they wish to charge a guest. Very poor reflection on the Ritz brand.

Location is great

Nile rooms are very noisy every night up to sunrise. The decor is a bit outdated. Its a good quality hotel but isn’t luxury like other Ritz brand hotels

Fantastic location. Luxury from top to bottom. Next to the Nile, wonderful outdoor dining with incredible live music. The bar was a perfect place to relax and a day of touring the city. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Everything was freshly prepared .

The food at vivo restaurant was excellent my husband had the lamb chops and thought they were the best he had ever tasted, I had the ravioli stuffed with shrimp they were phenomenal. The breakfast in the morning had everything you could think of. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everyone at the hotel went above and beyond. Would definitely stay again.

Location is very good.The room are specious. Bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly. Jamal from housekeeping was really helpful.I tried breakfast and dinner at the Italian restaurant both are very good.

I asked for connecting rooms and received confirmation but when I reached the hotel at the reception they told me no availability. They told me the confirmation came from booking not from the hotel!! We got rooms next to each other but this is not what I asked for.

The very friendly staff and especially at the front desk, Mr Ahmed Rabee was very welcoming and hospitable.

The size of the rooms are smaller than the normal standard as per Cairo standard.

The Nile View is amazing, the facilities in the room are great! Housekeeping are quick in providng any missing or extra items. I found a complimentary fruit plate and a plate of local sweets upon my checkin.

You have to be careful with the smoking smell, depsite being on a non-smoking floor, the smell was too strong when we switched-off the air conditioning. The front-desk manager was quick in responding and upgrading our stay to a Nile-view room on a higher floor which was better.

For me, the place is beautiful and comfortable, and I always feel relaxed there. It is one of my favorite hotels, and all the staff are cooperative and kind. Thank you, Ritz Carlton Cairo.

The location was very good and easy access to town. The lobby area and bar area is very comfortable and airy. Rooms are spacious enough for a couple or solo traveler. Very comfortable beds, good quality linen and super comfortable pillows. Clean bathrooms and excellent choice of toiletries. There was a coffee machine in the room which is very important and enough options of capsules to choose from

The breakfast selection could be better.
